I called Mike on a whim, hoping he'd be able to find a solution for the box spring I had that was too big to fit up the stairs in my new apartment building. Mike was courteous on the phone and agreed to come over within an hour or so. It took him an hour and a half to assess the situation, cut the box spring in half and put it back together perfectly (with supports that made it arguably stronger than it was before) and then also fix my front door that sticks and put up a window shade in my living room. He was such a pleasure to work with, always smiling and agreeing to the numerous requests my mother and I made of him. I could not recommend Mike more highly - I never ever write Yelp reviews and he did not ask me to. I am writing this because Mike made a HUGE difference in my life today (aka me having a bed vs not) and did it all with a positive attitude and at a reasonable price.

Just moved into the area and needed quick work done on a leaky pipe and garbage disposal. Not only did Mike respond quickly, but he also offered a very fair price for the work.

The issues were both resolved, and out of curiosity I asked if he would be able to remove metal poles that had been cemented in to my backyard. He said absolutely and was back out a few days later to remove them.

Both jobs were done well and promptly with a fair price. I would absolutely recommend FastServ for any handyman needs.

Mike was able to help me with an issue I threw at him, completely out of the blue, within a few hours of my initial mayday call!

He was calm, cool and collected despite our near-hysteria, and within moments of his on-site presence, he was able to help us correct the issue that had been bedeviling us for DAYS.
