I was contacted by the owner after this review went up. He apologized and acknowledged the company's growing pains and informed me that they made some staffing changes for the better. He offered to refund me the amount owed OR a complimentary 1 year service contract with the hopes of winning my business back. I appreciated him reaching out and was grateful for the gesture so I took him up on his offer to start fresh. He informed me his office would be in touch with the service contract. Time went by and I never heard a thing. As a courtesy I let the owner know. He had nothing to comment. Sad.

I can not say anything about Fast of Florida's workmanship as I had not had the opportunity to use them because of the following. On Fri. 7/10/20 I left a message with their service that we need AC looked at as it was not cooling. I received an email confirmation that I will be contacted by them ASAP. On Mon. 7/13 by about 6pm no one had called. At this time I sent 2 emails requesting a service call and in one email described the situation and checked yes as to whether this is an emergency. Again received 2 email confirmations with same computer generate message. Today Tues. 7/14/20, 12:02 pm no call from Fast of Florida. So if I ever do get I call, which at this time I doubt, I will not be using them because if they can't handle a simple call back in a timely manner, I have serious doubts about their competency as AC professionals.

Terrible experience. Hot and cold hook up backwards. Ran cheap PEX outside house in bright sunlight. Cheap fittings that will likely fail. Ran cold water lines inside attic secured to roof joist so water comes out scalding hot from attic heat for 2 minutes. Ran outside hose off of water softener, which would kill landscaping. Twisted hot and cold PEX in wall. Did not secure PEx in wall. Awful. Frustrating and expensive to fix. Water shut off is hooked up backwards so on is off and off is on.

I used this company for Brand New Installation of Split AC/Heating unit because of making my 5 month old infant comfortable in the room, paid $6500 in mid december 2020. It stopped working one week after installation, It was fixed one week later. Two weeks after that it stopped working again, Jonathan came and said one of the parts needs replacing and it will take 7-10 days, Ten days pass by and no call, I called then spoke to Jonathan's supervisor, Hector. He said the part will take 2-3 wks. Three weeks passed by and I called again and I was told they will send a message to the supervisor and someone will get back to me. No answer for another wk. I finally got a call from the customer service after 4 wks stating that the part is in and they need to schedule an install date. Install date was given after 4 days. Two individuals came to install and they said, it needs to order another part for the unit to be operational. We are at the end of week 5 and there is no update on when the new part will be in or when the unit will be operational. I have been trying to get hold of the General manager (Chrlie), I left 4 messages for him to call me in the past 10 days but no returned call from him either. I have also tried getting in touch with a company but I was told that the company is under corporation and does not have an owner. My next step is to hire an attorney to get my money back or sue them. If you want to go through what I'm going through, by all means use their service. I wish I had read their reviews from different sources and not just google.

I had a great experience with them. I'd just had a bad experience with another company and this company's customer service and responsiveness was a breath of fresh air. Both the techs and the office staff were great and really worked hard to make things go right. They installed a new AC. Thank you!

Do not use this company!! We did a large project with them(new ac, new water heater, new electric panel and generator); didn't pull permits , almost a year since installed and ac basically had to be redone, still not resolved!! We've hired another company to fix the poor work they did. Won't give any more details as we may have to take further actions to resolve, but I felt the least I could do was warn people!

Lousy company, poor customer service. Everyone I called to schedule an appointment to replace our old HVAC system, I was put on hold and within a minute, got a dial tone. The 4th time after speaking with Sandy, she did not pute on hold. We arranged an appointment for between 9am and 11 am, at 11:30 no call no show! I phoned Sandy explained she would reach out to John for an updated eta. At 1:15 Sandy called John tied up in an emergency (no je didn't break his fingers and had a cell phone) at 1:15 call Sandy said he would arrive between 3 to 5 pm. John Walsh finally showed up at 4:20 pm and informed us he had time now as we were his last stop. Very cavalier upon arrival, inauthentic, don't use. Don't waste your time. We found another firm who was respectful, pronot and had 5 star reviews. The other firm is a family owned business, what a difference. I'll post about the other company after the hvac system replacement.

***** CALL SOMEONE ELSE ***** They came to my house on 2/31/2021 to replace a leaking Solar Water Storage Tank. SIX (6) weeks later they showed up with a tank. As they were working on it, I asked the field supervisor if they were licensed to do SOLAR work. He said yes. I also asked if they knew how to install this type of tank. He said yes. The plumber did not finish the job of switching the tank and said he would be back the next day. He arrived and finished up the job. THEN, he filled the roof panel supply with straight water - NO ANTIFREEZE. The weather called for a possible freeze, which would have destroyed the collector on the roof. I asked him if he had ever installed this type of system. He said no and that he just arrived from N.Y. and they do not have these systems up there. He, nor the supervisor knew knew nothing about Indirect Water-Heating Systems (REQUIRED IN MARION COUNTY). I told him that this system requires an ANTIFREEZE FLUID and that he cannot leave the water in the collector. He said OK, CUT THE LINE and drained it into my garage and left. Leaving 1/2"""" of water on my floor! I called the supervisor and told him what he had done and that I did not want that man back in my house. No one at Patrick's seemed concerned about what he had done. The next day, the supervisor, 3 others and the plumber I did not want back were here. The N.Y. plumber repaired the line as the others sat outside reading the instructions for the tank. Again I asked the supervisor about being licensed to install SOLAR. This time he told me no. Somehow they figured they had the WRONG tank and it had to be replaced because they ordered the wrong tank. So, they ordered another tank. Another week went by and the 2nd tank arrived. They installed it and then realized it was the exact same tank they removed. So, off they go again for a few more weeks. They finally returned with the same model of tank I originally had. This they installed (a different plumber did the job). Once done, they realized they did not order the switch that activated the pump to circulate the ANTIFREEZE through the tank. All this time (since 12/31/2020) I was using electricity to heat our water and I let him know I have been paying for hot water. So, he plugged the pump directly into an outlet so the collector would heat the water. I turned off the breaker. About 2 weeks later (no switch yet), I heard a loud whine in the garage. The pump had been running 24/7 for a couple of weeks. This was about 8:30pm, Sun had been down about 1.5 hours. The pump was locked up and touching it burned my hand. This pump is NOT a continuous duty device. Again, I called the office. They had no idea it needed the switch. NO ONE TOLD THE OFFICE. I was also told they would replace the pump (Carmine, the office manager, told me he would). I turned the breaker back on in order to have hot water. Another 4 weeks came and went without a switch. I called and was told they were waiting for it to come in. Another 4 weeks went by, I called again and suggested they buy one retail. A week later, a different plumber showed up and installed the switch. I had to tell him that the timer on the tank had to be set so the pump did not circulate water all night and turn our hot water into cold water. He said he would talk to the manager about replacing the pump. He told me that it was always replaced when the tank was replaced. This has taken 4 months. YES, 4 MONTHS! So, after another week, I called the office. Carmine, the manager refuses to talk to me and will not authorize the ladies to pass on any information to me. Finally, after 3 weeks of calling, he said he was not going to replace the pump. The impeller locked up - IT IS GOING TO SEIZE AGAIN. I also wanted to know when the GUARANTEE went into effect and that I was not 100% satisfied with the job and wanted the refund they advertise. It has been another 2 weeks and NO CALL from them. 05/17/2021 They also replaced all of my COPPER PIPE with cheap plastic pipe and DID NOT INSULATE THE PLASTIC PIPES. THIS IS A SOLAR HOT WATER SYSTEM!!! AND, let's not forget, the supervisor that wrote on my quote that the tank was guaranteed for ten years was a typo! He said it is only good for 6 years. We can settle that in court... ***** STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE *****

$5000 repair estimate on their unit after only a few years, got it repaired for $200 elsewhere. I would not trust their evaluation or pricing and suggest getting multiple estimates if you do call them.

I called for a repair of a broken faucet. He responded promptly, but no parts were available. He wanted to service our water softener, which is working fine. Also, look at our hot water heater, we don't have one. We use a tankless heater, not a hot water tank. The service guy wanted to take pictures of all my plumbing. The service guy appeared to want to develop more business rather than fix the immediate problem which was why we called. We paid for his time and sent him away. I would recommend not going down again. We certainly won't.
