Terrible service to customers who have had a maintenance contract with FAST for past 10 years. We also purchased a new HVAC system and hot water heater from them in 2019. This year no renewal notice had been received by Jan 2021. Spent at least 6 weeks trying to get a renewal quote using web contact form, phone calls and e-mail. Eventually got a single line quote indicating price for 2021 was 30% ($200) more expensive than 2020. Queried the price and the fact that the quote was not itemised like previous years.....5 weeks later, despite following up, zero response. Absolutely no excuse for this abysmal service.

Well.....I have purposely hesitated to write a public review hoping FAST would communicate with us as I have a long list of issues that happened during the process of installing a completely new HVAC in our newly purchased home in Tarpon Springs. I'm going to avoid writing a narrative about the issues during and after this very expensive purchase. But, I will NEVER, ever call FAST for anything new again. Their lack of communication is inexcusable. Only one of their staff (Hector) was responsive, and actually tried to correct issues. Sad....and, unfortunate UPDATE: THE OWNERS REPONSE IS TOTALLY AN UNFORTUNATE PLOY TO DEFLECT BLAME. ITS BEEN SEVERAL DAYS, AND NO PHONE CALL. TYPICAL HOW THIS ENTIRE PROCESS HAS GONE. NO COMMUNICATION DESPITE THEIR LAME PROMISES. SAD Update as of March 11, 2021 Finally (after months of calling them to get it scheduled) FAST actually scheduled the county inspection which took place 03/09/2021. The inspection failed!!!! (This HVAC system was installed in September 2020). They installed this very expensive unit incorrectly (according to the official inspection report). The new GM promised to get the issues resolved and he would immediately schedule the corrections. I have yet to receive any such call from him (Charlie). So, FAST cannot be trusted with proper installation, and they refuse to communicate to correct their improper installation. I guess my next task will be to file legal action. FRUSTRATING!!!!

I used this company for Brand New Installation of Split AC/Heating unit because of making my 5 month old infant comfortable in the room, paid $6500 in mid december 2020. It stopped working one week after installation, It was fixed one week later. Two weeks after that it stopped working again, Jonathan came and said one of the parts needs replacing and it will take 7-10 days, Ten days pass by and no call, I called then spoke to Jonathan's supervisor, Hector. He said the part will take 2-3 wks. Three weeks passed by and I called again and I was told they will send a message to the supervisor and someone will get back to me. No answer for another wk. I finally got a call from the customer service after 4 wks stating that the part is in and they need to schedule an install date. Install date was given after 4 days. Two individuals came to install and they said, it needs to order another part for the unit to be operational. We are at the end of week 5 and there is no update on when the new part will be in or when the unit will be operational. I have been trying to get hold of the General manager (Chrlie), I left 4 messages for him to call me in the past 10 days but no returned call from him either. I have also tried getting in touch with a company but I was told that the company is under corporation and does not have an owner. My next step is to hire an attorney to get my money back or sue them. If you want to go through what I'm going through, by all means use their service. I wish I had read their reviews from different sources and not just google.

Stay Away. FAST does sloppy work and will ignore it when you bring it to their attention. My condo building is telling its residents not to use FAST as the building has had problems with their work in other units. I am warning readers of this post to do the same. Use them at your own peril. FAST installed my HVAC in 2014. Each year since, I have paid for the yearly HVAC service/warranty. No complaints until now. In Sept 2020 my system was showing high humidity in my condo. I was away from condo but got the info from my phone app that monitors my HVAC system. Called Fast and they were quick to respond. They came out and put freon in the system which seemed to fix it. The worker spoke to me by phone and told me he would flush my drain pipe. I assumed that it was done so I did not have the person who checks my condo clear the HVAC drain pipe as he normally does every month when we are away from the condo. Within a month of the Fast HVAC person telling me he cleared the HVAC drain pipe my HVAC was spilling over and caused damage to my condo the condo hallways that belong to the building and damaged the floor below. I had Fast come back out to the condo when I was alerted of this damage. I also had the person who checks our condo show up at the same time. They found that my drain pipe was completely clogged and the drain pipe cap was left off. Appeared that the cleaning never happened. When I purchased the system I had a float switch installed, which is supposed to shut the system down when these type of leaks occur. Either it never worked or stopped working along the way. Checking the float switch should be done at each HVAC tune-up. It appears that FAST was not checking the float switch at tune-up time. It was inevitable this incident would happen as their sloppy work let up to this flooding event. I notified FAST of the situation by email to the person who heads up the technicians. Never received a response back. I called and called and finally got hold of this person and he said he would look into it. Never heard back nor will he call me back nor will any other person who should take responsibility for this. They would rather loose me as a client than admit to their wrecklessness. I was always very friendly in my communication and all I asked for was for them to grant me a year of the service/warranty that costs $400. They would rather ignore and act like it never happened. Not only have they lost my business, they are on the black list for my condo building as other residents have had bad experiences with this company.

FAST of Florida replaced our entire AC unit. First, they undersold the size of the unit, then sold us a thermostat they are unable to deliver. We were then sold duct work that was never able to be completed. The AC salesman Mike, has no clue what he sold us and made promises of work that his company would ever be able to deliver. We are awaiting a partial refund from FAST and it has been over a month with no refund issued. The AC unit has now failed inspection twice with us receiving no communication from FAST. This is a terrible company with terrible communication. They tell you what you want to hear, then never fulfill. I would rather live in the summer months of Florida without AC than use FAST of Florida again.

I have been having Fast of Florida since I moved to Florida eight years ago...had them come out for every appliance I have. Never disappointed Always trust their judgment. This time of year understand the wait time is longer. Had a AC problem, of course on Saturday, had a great technician named Taylor, he was awesome, came with his mask on, checked everything and solved my problem.! Thanks again and stay safe

After my review, the general manager, Ed McCarthy, did come to my house to look at the problem. After realizing that he was unable to fix it, I was able to get a refund. He was kind and professional. I'm glad we were able to get the issue resolved.

I can not say anything about Fast of Florida's workmanship as I had not had the opportunity to use them because of the following. On Fri. 7/10/20 I left a message with their service that we need AC looked at as it was not cooling. I received an email confirmation that I will be contacted by them ASAP. On Mon. 7/13 by about 6pm no one had called. At this time I sent 2 emails requesting a service call and in one email described the situation and checked yes as to whether this is an emergency. Again received 2 email confirmations with same computer generate message. Today Tues. 7/14/20, 12:02 pm no call from Fast of Florida. So if I ever do get I call, which at this time I doubt, I will not be using them because if they can't handle a simple call back in a timely manner, I have serious doubts about their competency as AC professionals.

Fast Plumbing changed 2 shut off valves underneath my bathroom sink. One of them were not tightened up. It was leaking into my toliet paper, and toweling underneath my sink. It had already been over a week before I found water on my floor, because the toliet paper, and toweling was soaking up the water all the while ruining my bathroom cabinet. I am sick over this. I have called them multiple times over the past few weeks to come, and fix my bathroom cabinet. I have gotten no resolve. They continue to say they will pass along the message. I am going to take this company to higher authorities. I am still waiting as I write this review. Susan that has been replying so eloquently to these other reviews on Yelp here, maybe you can help me seeing how you are representing Fast Plumbing on this site. I would NEVER use them again. Use them, it may be at your peril.

Terrible operation. Bought a new unit 6 years ago, they have made 20 or so repairs since installing this """"new unit"""", the air handler has been replaced, the coils in the replaced air handler has been replaced the coils in the condensing unit has been replaced. The capacitor has been replaced and and every issue takes multiple, multiple visits to correct. This organization simply doesn't care and the technicians are Incompetent. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.
