What motivated me to start this business? Years back, I worked for one person who managed multiple rental homes. As I worked on his properties, locals would come over or signal me. That led to more opportunities, and here we are now. This work has introduced me to so many amazing people over the years. Funny enough, in three decades, only two clients have given me trouble. One person outright scammed me. He even had the audacity to leave negative reviews, justifying his actions. Then there was another client who actually removed screws from his own deck to tarnish my reputation. The sad part is he claimed my rates were too high. I added an extra hand to speed up his job and returned $200 in cash when we completed ahead of schedule. However, that still didn’t meet his expectations. He wanted me to buy more supplies and continue working for free. I hope for the best for both individuals.
