BEWARE: Active Bankruptcy, Overcharges, not BBB accredited

I needed a water line replacement, and Fast Flow overcharged me by nearly double- Charged for 275 ft., but the job was only 150 ft. When excavating the area, the crew disconnected the electrical to the grinder pump causing it to fail and have raw sewage backflow into the house and flood the basement. Fast Flow has been unresponsive after numerous emails, phone calls, and a demand letter. I am out over $15,000 because of damage and being overcharged. I filed with their insurance company, West Bend, but Fast Flow will not cooperate with them to get my claim paid out. ***Donald and Ashley Fitzpatrick, PLEASE help me recoup on damages! This situation has put my family in complete financial hardship!***

Good turnaround times on drain clean out. Hired to replace sewer line. Took them a full month to finish. Left open trench and mountain of dirt and equipment in my yard with many excuses as to why they couldn't come finished. Supervisor not good communication regarding process or progress. Would look elsewhere next time. Oh and they threw away my decorative pavers and cracked my patio by driving the equipment over it.

This company replaced a water heater for us, when I got home no hot water. I opened the access panel to ensure the unit was getting power and it was. The next day he came back out and said I voided the warranty because I opened the access panel and would have to buy another water heater for them to install. I called AO Smith and the manufacturer said that was 100% a lie. They walked me through trouble shooting the problem and it turned out that the unit wasn't getting 240 volts. If a manufacture could walk me through the issue you think a plumber could. Dishonest company

I hired Fast Flow Plumbing to replace two bathroom sinks, but the entire experience turned out to be a huge hassle and very disappointing due to poor workmanship, water damage, and a lack of proper cleanup. Here's what happened:

bought two new sinks and contacted Fast Flow for installation. The initial quote was around $548 which I agreed to. The plumber arrived and started working.

At one point, the plumber called me down to explain that the supply lines were too short to reach the valves. He proposed cutting the copper pipes and using SharkBite fittings, claiming the supply lines couldn't be replaced due to the male connectors. He insisted the existing fittings couldn't accommodate longer supply lines. Not knowing any better, I trusted his judgment. He quoted me an additional $353 for the copper modification, which I reluctantly agreed to, thinking it was necessary.

After doing some research and consulting others, I believe the additional work wasn't necessary. The plumber could have just replaced the supply lines with longer ones, instead of cutting the copper pipes and adding extensions. Cutting the copper and raising the shut-off valves seemed excessive and now feels like I was charged for work that wasn't needed.

Major Leak and Immediate Damage:
The plumber came to inform me that one of the valves had broken and that water had sprayed everywhere. He attempted to clean up by throwing my rugs and towels into the bathtub and even asked if I had a shop vac. At this point, the bathroom was soaked, but he assured me he'd get it cleaned up.

He also informed me that the supply lines for the second vanity were long enough, so no additional copper work was needed for that sink. After finishing the job, he had me check the valves to ensure no further leaks, and I noticed dirt and dried boot marks all over the bathroom floor. While not ideal, I could get it cleaned up.

After the plumber left, I returned to my bathroom to clean up the remaining mess. I noticed gold metal shavings from the sawing the old faucets left all over the countertop, including my razor. He hadn't cleaned any of it. There was trash and old fixtures left behind as well.

Then, I opened a vanity drawer and found it completely filled with water. Everything inside was ruined. I have no idea how a drawer became filled with water, it doesn't make sense how water from a valve below the sink could have gotten into the closed drawer above.

Attempting to Resolve the Situation:
I called Fast Flow that evening and spoke to their representative. She promised a supervisor would call me back, but I had to follow up multiple times before finally speaking with Alan, one of the supervisors. Alan offered me a $353 discount saying it was for the copper work that may not have been necessary.

My bigger concern was that I shouldn't have been charged for the copper work at all. From everything I've researched and heard from others, longer supply lines could have been used, and cutting into the copper pipes and raising the shut-off valves was unnecessary. When I asked about this, Alan couldn't give me a straight answer and said he would need to check with the plumber. I'm still waiting for an explanation as to why this was chosen over simply getting longer supply lines.

Final Thoughts:
While accidents happen, Fast Flow Plumbing's handling of this situation was disappointing at every step. The water damage to my bathroom, the ruined belongings, and the incomplete cleanup were bad enough, but the lack of accountability afterward made it worse. A small discount didn't compensate for the cleaning and replacing items. I expected better from a professional plumbing service. To add to that, the copper work may not have even been necessary, which makes me feel like I was charged for something that could have been avoided entirely.

Based on this experience, I can't recommend Fast Flow Plumbing. They need to improve their quality of work and their customer service.

Stay away from Fast Flow Plumbing. Day of my service they informed me they changed their price. I get changing your price but just had recently used them and they charged me a different price. When I called them to setup the appointment receptionist never told me of the price change but said they had changed their price a long time ago. They are unethical and refused to honor the price.

Would NOT recommend Fast Flow for any plumbing service. The plumbers that were sent to job site were not qualified (still in training) They said they would be done in one day and it took them 2 days but they left job site a lot to go get materials they should have had on truck.

They hooked up a line to outside faucet (shoddy job to say the least) that is now 'Hot' water, I have to go inside house to get water for pets.

I have a pic of a board that was put in for shower head, It was a maybe 1/4"" by 5-6"" with 3 inch screw nail that split but they left it that way. Sshould have been a 2x4. We had to have this fixed after they left.

Not sure if rest is going to work when job is finished.

10 Stars! Amazing! (I wish I could officially give more stars.)

Called at 11:30pm, we had been in our new house for 30 hours when our plumbing pickle predicament perpetrated a plan!

Christina (she answered the call live, no 3rd party dispatch) was great at letting me know what she was going to do to handle my precarious plumbing problem! I was in hot water, actually, I had NO WATER.

Plumber Dean was at the house within the hour. He is so sweet, kind and patient. He fixed our water worriment and was in and out in a flash. So thankful for Fast Flow.

Joe was excellent and did a great job, everything with an hour, that was awesome, and he was able to figure out how to fit in a extra small space, and still got the job done. Very knowledgeable about plumbing. Excellent professional service, great price. Highly recommended. Will use your company again . Janet

This place is a rip off! They quoted us $5,000 for the job and we have ended up paying over $7,000. We had the original work done 6 months ago. The toilet started leaking last night and we have called and talked to a lady. We have yet to hear back from them. I will never use this company again!

I tried to get a leak under the house fixed by 4 other plumbers. It is a tight crawl space in an older home. Other plumbers didn't want to do the work. This company responded quickly and worked with me to get it fixed. The pricing was fair, and the service was excellent. I appreciate that they send text messages with photos of the plumbers to let you know they are on the way, and who you should be expecting. Very polite and friendly service.
