We had dealt with a complicated water leak in a long outside waterline for almost two years. David Farwell and Mike Cash stayed with us in the last months of the adventure and figured out a great solution. We found them to be honest, helpful and hard working. Plumbing isn't cheap, so you need someone with integrity at your side.

Plumber took a look at my leaky faucet, then had to go get a part - he was gone an hour and 15 min for which I was charged labor at $75/hour. Part didn't work, and he said I needed to replace the entire faucet. I could probably afford to do that had I not been charged $425. The plumber could have told me up front that the faucet needed replacing, and I could probably have had it done for about the same amount. Also the part was grossly upcharged. Part cost around $7 at Lowe's. I was charged $30.

I have used this company twice for a major plumbing problem. The first time a man came out He had to go through the roof to clean our the sewer pipes, because we did not know where the clean out valve was, and he asked me to help him. Within 24 hours and $266 later it was stopped up again. I called back and was told they do not guarantee their work on clean outs and then they never called me back. The second plumber I found out also worked for Farwell plumbing... he cleaned it out... found the clean out valve and replaced the cap with a new one. It has been leaking ever since and no one will answer my call backs nor come over and fix it.. I have sewer water going out into my yard now. They were supposed to give me an estimate to replace the old ceramic pipes. I and my son in law have tried several time to make contact with no response... my toilets have backed up in my shower and tub... I can't do laundry or dishes..

High quality work, responsive, on time and professional. We always seem to have emergencies on holidays, weekends or at night and they always work us in. Can be a bit pricey though.

Called them Sunday morning and dispatch answered and said someone would call me back. Shortly after I received a call and had someone scheduled to come fix my leak. I was first in line for the day. Then the guy called a little while later and told me he would be over in about 20 minutes. About 65 minutes later (45 minutes past original 20) I received a call from the first person again. Apparently he called me by accident but I mentioned how the guy was 45 minutes late and I was told that something about them 'young kids' or something but that the guy was good. About 15 minutes after that (hour after original eta) the plumber arrived. The plumber fixed the leak timely and quickly. I then had him fix one of my toilets. He brought in a new braided steel toilet supply line and said that they recommended everyone switch because this one had a metal end versus plastic that may crack. (I asked if that plastic can crack, what about the plastic on the toilet itself?) The plumber fixed the toilet quickly. He then spent ten minutes writing up my bill and then left after I paid. He was there almost exactly, but not over, two hours. Bill total was $334. $45 was materials, with the toilet supply line being $16.95. Labor was $285.00

1. Being late was OK, would have just preferred to be kept in the loop and informed.

2. I don't know where they buy their toilet supply lines from but neither Home Depot or Lowes have a supply line that costs anywhere near that amount.

3. $140 an hour seems high but maybe it is not. You can be the judge of that. It was a Sunday.

Overall I think they did a great job. Even with them being an hour later they still responded promptly and took care of the issue with minimal collateral damage.
