Responsive company.  The Job was done good and grateful for that.  The tech gave a debriefing after the work and explained how he also modified some extra work that was not expected, and although it added to the cost it made some sense.  Charges included a $85 dispatch fee, an hourly rate of $175 (was not prorated in last hour of work), $75 fee to use a snake tool, and cost of materials.  It all adds up so be prepared, even for what might seemed to be a simple job like this one, but then again everything has gotten more costly.  Regrets? Yes, should have considered plumbing as a career:)

Called their main number, had a great chat with the fine lady running the show. Our repair request wasn't urgent, but we had an appointment set 2 days out.

Zach 2.0, scored a Magic Hat with his excellent knowledge and professionalism. Prompt arrival, assessed the scene, removed old, installed new, clean up spotless, explained the work performed, we had demonstration, and payment was shift.

We were kept informed all throughout the process for the cost of materials and labor - nice when it's kept transparent.

Don't use this company if you can help it. Came to fix a leak, didn't. Wanted to charge again to fix what they didn't fix. Do yourself a favor and just don't.

I highly recommend Farmington Valley Plumbing! We'd had an ongoing problem with our upstairs bathroom toilet, that had previously been repaired by other plumbers, but after 7-8 years was no longer worth repairing. Brian texted me on a Sunday evening (after I'd posted on a local Facebook community page asking for help, because the old toilet was leaking). I was impressed that he reached out to me on a Sunday! Then, he called me early the next day, and we discussed whether to repair or trash the old toilet. We decided to get a new toilet. I was able to get a same day appointment. Keith, the technician who installed the toilet was very personable and knowledgeable, explaining everything to me and answering my many questions about toilets and how they work. He took great care to protect the tile bathroom floor, by putting down padded blankets and cleaning up everything after installation. I was impressed that about 15 minutes before arriving at my house, I received a text message that Keith was on his way, along with his photo, so I'd know who to expect. He arrived within the timeframe that had been quoted to me. We will definitely use Farmington Valley Plumbing again.

From the initial phone call asking for a quote to replace a leaking hot water storage tank and corroded circulator pump everyone I spoke to or had contact with was extremely helpful and professional. The work was done on time, as scheduled and very neatly. The guys that came to the house were clean, respectful and should pride in what they did. I commend you all and will absolutely make you my go to people for any Plumbing and Heating system needs..thank you !

I recently had a plumbing emergency and Farmington Valley came out to help immediately. They were very responsive and able to quickly to put a temporary resolution in place to stop my slow water leak and to identify the root cause. The technician seemed very knowledgeable and offered advice to avoid the issue in the future. The technician came back in a timely manner to put the permanent fix in place (I had water leaks from my two upstairs showers), and I've had no issues since.

I would definitely use this company again if I need plumbing help!
