This business was founded by my father and has been family-operated for three generations! What began as a small, local business has always kept one principle in mind... The customer comes first! Growing up in the plumbing and drain field, I watched my father closely, learning to tackle problems with a ""never give up"" attitude! Stavros S.Thurman (Owner) at Draintech is quite possibly one of the nicest people I have ever met. It is extremely difficult to find a plumber you can trust, and over the years I've always shuffled through various plumbers because I couldn't find one that was actually willing to give me advice versus tell me what their time costs. From the first time I called Draintech and talked to Thurman, I instantly got a good vibe from him. Out of 4 plumbers I called in the area he gave me the absolute best rate possible, and actually hung around to give me advice on what to do. He is honest and up front about everything and will always cut you the best deal possible. Aside from that, his crew is extremely professional, courteous, and clean. They always cleaned up after themselves and paid close attention not to damage any of the surroundings. To date he's done everything I've needed from little jobs like changing toilets, to larger jobs like breaking into foundation, fixing septic lines, etc.
I've already recommended Draintech to all my family and friends. If your looking for a plumber and/or contractor for any job, Thurman @ Draintech is the guy!
Matthew M.I received numerous bids on a sump pump and backup sump replacement. These companies were all reputable and professional, but no one was transparent with their pricing. Since I am well capable of looking up prices for pumps and batteries online, I was uneasy about their quotes; they seemed too high.

Thurman came in lower than his competitors, and as importantly, he explained why things would cost what they did. He was honest and clear from the start. And he used high quality pumps and components.
On site, he and his partner were courteous, clean, and professional. They also accommodated some less-than-ordinary circumstances with our basement by leaving space for our radon mitigation equipment. And they did this all in about 90 minutes.
I was so happy with the work that I gave him a significant tip and still came in way below what the other guys quoted me. He will be my go-to guy from now on, and I am definitely referring him to friends and family. (Already told my mom about him!)
