We had a bad issue with sewer backing up in our basement. Sean quoted a very reasonable price for his services and was able to correct the problem without extra costs the same day! Can't get better service than this!

Have a number of properties in the Lansing area and sewer problems seem to pop up every so often. Will definitely go back to Sean in the future.

Last night our drains clogged up and I could not use running water. I woke up early and tried to fix it myself, no luck. I googled places to call and decided on Family Rooter due to the fantastic reviews and because it was the first one on the Yelp page. I called thinking this is going take forever to get someone to come today. I was totally wrong! Sean answered the phone and listened to my problem and then said he would be over in 40 minutes; he arrived in 30 minutes! He was polite and basically gave me a tutorial of what he was doing. He used a snake and fixed the clogged kitchen and bathroom sinks immediately. They he helped me trouble shoot why the bathtub was not draining. When pouring drain-o didn't work, he gave me options as to what to do. Eventually, I had him use a snake for the tub as well.
I didn't feel pressured into doing anything more that what was necessary. He was very professional and made sure all my problems were resolved and questions answered. This all took about 1 hour. I'm so glad I called the right company; I will use him again and will definitely recommend Family Rooter to all my friends!

Tremendous service! I've been lucky enough to have few plumbing problems since I moved into this house 18 years ago, but have never called the same plumber twice. Called this guy yesterday, Friday, (after 5pm) because of the Yelp! reviews, hoping to get someone out Monday for a minor problem (toilet), and he set me up for this morning at noon. Called at 10:45 to say he'd finished his previous job and wondered if he could come early, which he did. Since he WAS running early, I additionally asked for his opinion on a slow-running sink, which he helpfully gave.

In and out within 15 minutes, very reasonable rate, this is a plumber I will definitely call again and recommend to others.

Since moving here just a few months ago, I have the unfortunate need for plumber twice. I called Family Rooter both times and the kinds of men came out and took care of the problem at a reasonable cost. He is also giving me tips on how to prepare my house for winter as I came from a warmer climate. I will definitely call Family Rooter again next time I need Plumbing help
