FIRST EXPERIENCE with Family Rooter: Came home on a Saturday night around 9pm to the drain in my basement overflowing, with water and sewage. I got online, and saw that Family Rooter was local and family owned, so I sent a message and surprisingly I was contacted back shortly by Tim. He let me know that I would NOT be charged a weekend or after-hours charge for the services I would need, he also told me that they never charged those fees.
When Tim arrived he was very informative, took the time to explain to me what was wrong, what caused it, what needed to be done to repair it, and what to do to to prevent future damage. Very knowledgeable, great customer service, and HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Support Local, Small Business & Family Owned.

I asked for a quote for a small project, a simple tub removal and installation of a new one. Every place I've called has scheduled time to look at the project and new tub to provide an accurate quote. Some places did charge a small estimate fee that was waived if I went with them. This place wanted to provide a quote over the phone and then failed to call at the scheduled time.

Tim & Matt did a great job. We live in an older home & out water heater was very old as well. It took all day & they had to reconfigure our heater to bring it up to code. The price was very fair, they are professional, respectful, & clean. Through out the years Tim has always answered my questions & concerns with the issues we have in this home. I can't say enough nice things about our experience with Family Rooter. I would never use anyone else.

Deceptive Pricing-Advertise sewer cleaning starting at $49.00. However, after inspecting a blocked drain, I was given a price of $365. 1/2 hour later the drain was rodded and they left. Their explanation was they charge by the visit not the time it takes to resolve the problem. Be aware of price gouging.
Will not use Family Rooter again.

My Husband and I had a toilet ""issue"" and were in desperate need of help. I found Family Rooter on Yelp and messaged them and received a very quick reply! They were extremely responsive and were able to come out the next morning (I messaged late at night). They kept me up to date on their arrival, and as soon as they arrived, they quickly and politely fixed the problem! They are reasonably priced and professional, and I recommend them to anyone looking for a great plumber.

Talking to Tim & James about my sewer plumbing issues I had over the phone. He walked me through the scenarios & quoted me a price over the phone. There was more to my issues I had after buying the house & the previous owner knew about the major issues but didn't disclosed it. James was solid on what needed to be executed so we wouldn't run into a major problem like what we had currently. He came with John, finished the job professionally & respectfully. Workmanship was excellent. Definitely keeping Family Rooter on deck for future work when it's needed. James & John treated me like family. I went through two other plumbing companies for the same issues we had & finally nailed the 3rd one which Family Rooter handled the job done right this time. It's hard to find a company you could trust & keep on deck for future needs & emergencies. Tim, Samatha, James, & John are very good people. Thank you Family Rooter.

Excellent family owned company. Timmy replaced 4 shut off valves, the t-valve and the mixing valve on my boiler system and the drain for my bathroom sink. He was on time, very pleasant and cleaned up after himself.
Pleasure to do business with...would highly recommend.
