I'm not a review writer, however, in this case I think that recognition is deserved. I had a problem with my boiler. After contacting MANY heating service companies, Family Plumbing advised a 2 hour response time. Before 2 hours, Walt and Ricky came. They went over, under, around and through my 50 year old boiler, identified the problem and fixed it. Their HONESTY, let me say that again: HONESTY, restored my faith in human nature to do the right thing. Family Plumbing, Walt and Ricky are assets to your company and I will sing praises to anyone who has a problem with their heating system and refer them to you. Thank you, Walt and Ricky

We used this company a couple of years ago and needed to call them back.. We had a problem in our basement.

They came same day and work was done the day after. Eddie and roger came. They came the last time we needed them also. They are both professional and know what they're doing.

They fixed our problem and gave a good cleaning when done. We would use them again.

Very very unprofessional. I called to make an appointment with him, he took down all my information to come by to fix my sink. The day of the appointment, he never showed up. When I called him, he said he forgot to send someone. He said ""I will call you back in 10 minutes"" He never called. The way he was acting was like he is the only plumber in the world. My suggestion, USE A REPUTABLE PLUMBER. I WILL NEVER USE THIS PERSON AGAIN. FOR ALL WHO IS READING THIS---LOOK ELSEWHERE AND BUYER BEWARE

I had another company there and they couldn't figure it out I called family plumbing at 12am (midnight) and a man named walter came from family plumbing and pulled the cover off the boiler and played with a few wires and it looked like brain surgery to me lol but he got up looked at me and told me what it was and how much it was gunna be. I gave him the okay to do the job and he did it and within 15-20 min he was on his way out the door. he was very respectful and friendly they are a great company and I would highly recommend them and I will continue to use them for Any plumbing need I have. It's nice to have a good honest plumber. We even hung out for a few moments when he was done. When in doubt call family plumbing to figure it out.

Eddie and Roger did a great job fixing the valves on my shower today and clearing out a clog in the valve seat. They are real professionals and experts at what they do. Their price was reasonable for the work done.

Buyer beware. If you like being overcharged and taken advantage of then Walter at family plumbing is the plumber for you.
I was charged a $225 diagnostic fee and he offered to do job for a labor rate of $750 for an hour and a half job.
I made a couple of calls to different plumbers and they charged a quarter of his price to do the exact same job.

Very nice people and know what they're doing. Also the heating specialist is what you call a real heating specialist I also like the other family owned and operated and very understandable and respectable no matter what are the conditions in the household. I highly recommend this company over a lot of other people like rotor Rooter or a city wide. But the most important thing is that I love that its a free estimate unlike a lot of other companies that charge just to come to your house.
