I have dealt with this business for multiple years. My furnace started working erratically and Fairland made a service call to my house on January 16. I specifially requested that no work on my furnace be done without a written estimate and my consent. After 15 minutes of working dowstairs, the technician called me down to look at the furnace. He told me that I should sign up for a service plan with Fairland because the only thing wrong with my furnace was a dirty flame sensor and he would have to charge me $185 for this call. After I protested the fee and lack of written estimate or permission to make the repair, the technician went out to his truck and wrote up an invoices for repairs that he did not make. When I called the office to protest, the office manager told me that they would not process my check, but would accept a replacement check for a lower amount. Needless to say, my original check was cashed by the company on Jan. 26. Illegal, unethiical and a gross abuse of client trust. Will never use them again and will never refer them again.

We just moved in and within a week, my dishwasher clogged and refused to drain. Called Fairland and within hours a plumber was here, diagnosed and fixed the problem. He also checked to see how old the machine was and if I needed a new one. Told me the unit was in great shape and to save my money. Would use again. (One star off because tech was running late and office didn't call to advise.)

Bad service... Didn't do a good job with a basic toilet clog removal. Make sure you check for bubbles and flush quality, b4 they leave. They will not remove the toilet to remove clog or do a snake for testing whats wrong. or they wont do it for a reasonable price...Better yet, get someone else instead.. Bad customer service and rude owner.

I dont think i have option of 0 stars, otherwise i would have given that.

The most honest HVAC company I've ever dealt with! I've used them about 3 times (twice within the last year for 2 separate units) and I've been thrilled with the results and fair price/no upcharges. I even had to make a service call during a snow storm and they responded within the hour. I won't send my business anywhere else!

These guys were the third place I called to handle a minor toilet issue that I wanted to get fixed. I'll call them for anything I need in the future regarding the unglamorous world of plumbing! First off, the price was completely what I was looking to pay. The other two estimates I had were from $220 - over $400! For that, I could have bought a new toilet! They communicated well, let me know when they would be there, did great work and were in and out in an hour. They impressed me. Price was exactly what the estimate said it would be. Like I said, I'll use them again in the future.

I used this company on several occasions, but the level of service really went down hill. They were very good at first, but then the last few jobs they have made several mistakes and their technicians I found to be dishonest and unprofessional.
On one job they when they were installing all new plumbing they cut a drain pipe by accident. This happened when the plumber was cutting into the wall with a reciprocating saw. He must have realized he hit something other than drywall. This led to a leak in the wall we discovered after they were done. They did not want to own up to their mistake after we spent over $10,000 with them at this one property. We finally got them to come out and make the necessary repairs, but they still did not own up the the mistake.
Another job they botched up was with the a/c unit at a condo.. They claimed they fixed the a/c compressor unit, but when we inspected it afterwards it was just blowing warm air. We had to call them back out several times and it was one excuse after the next. Why it took four trips to fix the a/c was outrageous. This had happened before at another unit within the same condo. complex. They fixed it on the third trip on that occasion.
Another problem I had was they gave me a quote for the labor on a job over the phone. When their plumber came out he raised the price. I told him I would not pay anymore than I was quoted and asked him to call his office.
At another condo. unit the their technician damaged the washer/dryer. They replaced some pipes and needed to pull out the stacked washer/dryer unit. Then when they were finished they pushed the unit back into place to far wedging the washer/dryer against the hot water heater tank. I forced the technician to come back out and place the washer/dryer in it's original location. The attitude of the owner and his workers have been just awful, so I no longer use this company.
Do your research and find a better company. I use Checkbook.org to find good local contractors. I am so happy since I stopped using this company.

There are so many other good plumbing companies, so don't waste your time with Fairland Plumbing.
