Poor communication. After not hearing back when they would be out to our house they told us they'd be out the next day and this went on for 4 weeks. We decided to go else where. The gal handling the phones was also passive aggressive every time we would call in. I would not recommend

I was recommended this company by our plumber. I had a plumbing emergency and after he completed the work he said our septic tank needed to be pumped. I had no idea. We are a military family and I am new to AK. My bf is AD and he was deployed at the time this happened. I have zero to no knowledge about plumbing I am more useful in a war zone because of my military experience haha So, when the plumber explained what needed to happen I called Fairbanks Septic and the lady who answered the phone was very helpful. She explained to me what was happening with our septic tank, what was the process, the cost and offered to send someone right away. The person who came did the job and made sure the pipes were running water to the septic tank as expected. I couldn't be happier with the service I received. Communication was good, and service was performed in a timely manner. I also asked a lot of questions because this is all new to me. Living in the lower 48 and in the city is definitely different, but the locals (to include businesses) will help you get through it. Not all businesses are good at customer service though, like every where else, but here in this area there are less businesses as options one can reach out to, so bad customer service has a greater impact on us as customers. Now that I know what the house needs. I will be calling them every year.

We had a back up, but we didn't know why because we had our tank pumped seven months prior. Dan heard I ran a home daycare so he came out to check what was going on after his long day. Turned out we had a blockage, he cleared it out for us and gave me some information on how to do it on my own next time (if needed). At the end I asked for an invoice and he said to not worry about it. I was so impressed with not only the kindness of Dan, but also the lady at the office who stayed in contact with me and commitment they made to getting someone out to us asap.

These people are a godsend. They helped me out when nobody else would. I'm so very grateful. We had a Back up running into our crawlspace for months. We had no idea. Only realized it because another issue made us go into the crawlspace. They came and cleaned it up for us. I am eternally grateful.

We have been using the services of this company for years. We recently contacted the company as our sewer line had froze at our home. The company came right out, assisted with steaming the lines and then called for another other truck to empty the tank. During this time, I also scheduled for a rental to be pumped as a maintenance precaution. When the second driver arrived at our home, he was able to complete the work on our tank and then he went right to the rental and completed that job too. I called this company looking for competent professional services, what i received was an incompetent worker with no tools that could not do the job i requested. When he showed up h told me he would not go on the roof because he did not have the proper equipment (I stated over the phone that the access was on the roof) He then told me he could pull the toilet, when i agreed to this he tells me ""go ahead and discontent the toilet while i warm up my equipment"" you want me to do what that what im paying you for, he then goes on to say he doesn't have any tools. after doing his job he was not able to do the work and tracked sewer back up through my house and charged me. my receipt was hand written on the back of scrap paper he had in his truck. This company is far from professional and totally incompetent, how do you show up to a customer have no means of doing your job ask the customer to do your work and destroy there home and charge them for not completing the service requested. DO NOT call them in any circumstance
