Once again I had to call Facilities Plumbing for some work on my sump pump which they installed less than a year ago. Turns out the pump itself was defective so we upgraded the pump to include a grinder so it does a better job.

Robert took care of me by ensuring I received a refund on the defective pump. I really appreciate his honesty, responsiveness to my questions and getting the job done quickly.

New plumber recommendation! Robert and Franky were my contacts. They came to fix our gas fireplace pilot connection (didn't even know plumbers had to do this?) and while they were here, I asked them to look at a bath tub clog and they were able to fix it right away!

On Friday evening we noticed that our outdoor sump pump wasn't working. We texted Robert who had installed to let him know about the problem. At once he contacted us to ask some questions . He was responsive and followed up with it. Sunday morning the technician was at our place and took care of the issue. Great service

My wife was called by the company on the night of 1/4 (it had to do with the website Angi).
Time was of the essence.
A storm was coming in, and our sump pump needed to be replaced (it was slow to work on 12/31, and some light flooding of our family room occurred).
Thankfully, the company hours are 24/7, and the first plumbing technician arrived after about an hour (he was in the area, and dropped off the new sump pump- the main technician arrived about 10 minutes later).

My wife talked to Robert.
He was very friendly and helpful in terms of answering her questions.
He also helped to put her at ease (he lives just a few blocks from us, which is cool).

We were charged $1,950 (for the purchase and installation of a sump pump).
The price is normally $1,800, but the circumstances dictated the change (there were a lot of customers that day, and we apparently got the last sump pump).
My wife and I totally understood. We did not mind paying extra at all (I want to make this clear).

Both technicians were friendly, and the main one did a great job (we wanted to help him a little, but he basically wouldn't let us out of professionalism).
We were just needed to provide light (it was quite dark outside, and my wife and I were using two new flashlights).

Early on, the technician went to The Home Depot to buy a pipe fitting (he was gone for half an hour, and I was slightly annoyed because time was such an issue- at the same time, I understood, given the circumstances, why the technician wouldn't have every little part).

The technician was limited in English, and this caused some time to be wasted (I translated a little for my wife).
There was also some confusion regarding how quickly the glue that was used would dry (Robert cleared up the confusion after the work was done).

I'm not blaming the company for this (they aren't responsible for how sump pumps are built). I'm mainly just being thorough.
The power cord was too short (I rolled my eyes, groaned, pulled some clumps of hair out, and lightly pooped myself), and so I had to go to Target to buy an extension cord (I wisely bought two- I accidentally bought a mini one that is too small for even Barbie to use).
It was raining hard, and I tried not to drive too fast, but I basically had no time to waste (my wife wrapped things up while I was gone, and I was careful not to hit the technician's truck when I was backing out of the driveway).

Robert is great, and I highly recommend Facilities Plumbing and Drain.
We were helped pretty quickly, and the sump pump has been working well.
You can't beat having peace of mind.

During the summer, we started a sump pump project but didn't complete it as we weren't satisfied with the quotes we got. Unfortunately --like many recently in the Bay Area-- our basement flooded this week due to all the intense rainfall and the sump pump installation became a project to urgently complete.

We reached out to a few businesses and Robert was the fastest to get back to us. He arrived the next day, devised a solution no previous contractor had suggested, thoroughly explained the process, and had the installation completed with a team of two that day! Robert even modified his initial plan upon our request to because he ""wants to make sure we're happy with it in the end"". Robert very much met that goal.

Installing a sump pump might not be a project you expect great customer service with but it is what made Facilities Plumbing & Drain business stand out to us. Everyone involved with the installation was nice, professional, and even enthusiastic. We would hire Robert again given the opportunity and highly recommend anyone looking for excellent service to do the same.

""Highly recommended"" - Robert, the Plumber of Facilities Plumbing service found from ""the Yelp"" responded to my bathroom project yesterday and showed up today, one day before the busy Christmas Eve 2022. Robert performed such an excellent job on the replacement of the 30 years+ Price Pfister AVANTI push & pull shower/tub cartridge set up. I had been watching the YouTube videos to get some ideas and background for the service needed. I am so relieved after he delivered the final product - a working/smooth faucet. A job well done ! I asked some business cards from this young technician before he left. He identified the potential problem area right away after his inspection. He removed the cover plate and pulled out (not so ease to do due to the old part) the damaged cartridge carefully. Quickly ran by the local hardware store with the old part and obtained the right part number (DANCO 80550) plus the required KWIK Seal, Silicone Grease. Then he returned to the job site and completed its installation . I will pass his business cards out to my senior friends, and definitely recommend him and his plumbing services to people and families who need a good plumber - Robert

Great service at an amazing price!

We had a shower drain that was backing up and put in a service request. Robert responded quickly and gave an estimate over the phone. He was flexible in availability, and showed up promptly at the booked time. He was courteous, knowledgeable, fast and professional throughout the fix process. He even helped reinstall a drain cover free of charge, leaving our shower in a better state than before.
