Fabriclean Inc. was started by Ronald Sherwood in 1977, and I now lead the company. Ron taught me invaluable lessons and was a personal friend. He instilled in me the importance of thorough cleaning. If I could give less than zero I would...scheduled Technician THREE TIMES, no call, no show three appointments in a row. Easily the worst service I've ever had the displeasure of working with. Never responded, never called, completely ghosted us with temps down to 24 degrees with our heating system broken. NEVER, ever call this company for any service.

Hello,

Was assigned a service technician via my home warranty - Select Home Warranty and scheduled for a visit on Thursday 9/5/24 with an arrival time between 11 and 3pm. The service technician never showed, I called him, no answer. I called into the call center, they called him and he didn't answer. He called me that evening said he'd been stuck on a job and that he'd call me Friday at 10AM and be at hoe home Friday 9/6 at 5:30 - neither happened.

I called into the call center Friday, the rep tried to call Fabriclean, he didn't answer. He sent me a text that said he'd call me in fifteen minutes, that did not happen. The rep said that she'd put in an emergency service request.

I called in this afternoon - the rep notified me that same person was assigned to my case. He called him - Fabriclean texted me saying they'd call me right back and that they'd be at my home today. Its 6:30 - no call back, no tech here, and he won't answer the phone.

Avoid Fabriclean if at all possible! I was ,unfortunately, assigned by my Home Warranty company to have them come and evaluate then fix my HVAC issue. My first scheduled appointment was supposed to be between 11-3 pm on a Saturday. I cancelled plans I had because I needed the AC fixed ASAP. I stayed home and waited. I finally called at 4 pm and they said they were running late. Finally, the answered my call and said they couldn't make it but would come the next day. I never heard or saw anyone the next day either. On Monday, I called the Warranty company who called and spoke to the owner Mike while I was on the phone. He assured me they would be at my house after 4 pm. I called and texted at 5 pm and was told they were at a job but did not forget about me. I texted again at 7:30 and 8:30 pm with no response. It is rare they answer the phone and I left multiple voicemails with no response.

Use Fabriclean at your own risk, they are incompetent and are not reliable. They did not show up several times when an appointment was setup, when they did show up they did not no how to diagnose the furnace problem I was having. Give them a call and you will not be able to leave a message as their voice mailbox is full, they will not return your calls. You have been warned!!!

OMG what a total NIGHTMARE this company is!!!! Placed a claim on Dec 27 for a broken furnace via Choice Home Warranty. Assigned within 24 hrs to Michael Carvalho the owner of Fabriclean. He came out initially to diagnose the problem. He didn't order the parts or return as promised so 2 weeks later the furnace broke down completely. Had he done his job the system wouldn't have failed and we'd have heat. It's almost a month later and the house is 31 degrees inside daily in freezing Massachusetts. After I figured out he's a total scammer and scumbag I will finally demand another technician and company. He lies, ignores calls and texts, blames others for the work not getting done, no showed multiple times despite saying he'd be here repeatedly!!

I found other reviews as far back as 2013 and the lady had a similar horrific experience. That was so validating as this guy made me question my sanity with his constant BS and blaming the warranty company. He also told me he ordered parts, can't get them due to delays and wrong sizes etc. I can't count the number of times he literally promised to come out and failed to do so. All while we're freezing and our lives completely disrupted as well as my losing money due to the loss of my private office and WiFi needed for my job.

Warning: Something is very wrong with this guy and he's articulate and talks a good game. His actions aren't normal and are hard to decipher while in need due to all of his sneaky maneuvers and the continuous hope then repeated and callous letdowns. His crazy behavior wreaks havoc on any sane person!! Do not trust or believe anything he says or allow him to handle any claims. This was high stakes due to our home being totally without heat but he didn't care one bit. He apologized and actually took a little responsibility at one time but then didn't change his tactics or do the job.

I'll be contacting the Better Business Bureau and other social media outlets. His actions are deplorable, extremely unethical and unconscionable. This constant stress has hurt my physical and mental health. BEWARE!!!!

I filed a claim with my home warranty (Choice Home) the claim process was really easy and within 24 hours a technician picked up my claim November 28, 2021. However, I should have known there would be an issue because he rescheduled the initial appointment. He finally come out a week later and I paid the initial fee he said he had to order a part and would be back at the end of the week. That was December 6th. Today is December 21st and he has rescheduled the appointment 4 times, he won't answer any text messages and when I called to have my claim reassigned, he picked it up again. He did not show. I called back and asked to not have his company pick up my claim so he changed his company name from Fabriclean. Inc to Unique Indoor Comfort Heating & Cooling, I could tell it was him because the number was the same. I called him to ask why and he did not answer, I texted m=him and told him to stop picking up my claim. I don't understand his motivation to keep doing this other than he is just unethical and unprofessional. I am telling everyone buyer beware! This guy is crazy, I would not let him in my house or trust him to fix anything in my home! RUN!
I am currently waiting for supervisor from Choice to call me to get this resolved. What a nightmare...
