Ordered expensive water filter online from FW Webb, only to find out the filter was outdated and cannot be used without a special adapter. Company would not do an exchange, stating I was outside of exchange window, but they did say they were happy to sell me a new filter.

Probably some of the worst customer service ever. I went in for a Toto toilet flapper as Webb is an authorized sales facility and the toilet was purchased from their store in Gloucester (along with a number of other expensive bathroom remodel features). There was one other customer. The salesperson asked me ""Can I help you"" as if it was the last option on his list. I asked for the part and he pointed to a product on a wall across the store. It didn't look like the part I was replacing and I had taken pictures so I wanted to show him. He said ""Don't bother, it's all they send us now."" I might have had an installation question but that clearly was not welcome. I will go to Salem Plumbing, Peabody Plumbing or Ferguson for parts -- and my pending master bathroom remodel -- in the future because of Webb's customer service.
