Replaced hot water heater expansion tank November 2021. February 2022 went out again. I purchased a new one. but also needed a new pressure reducing valve and a relief valve for hot water tank. They came out and fixed it in 1 hour 5 minutes. Charged me for 2 hours labor and charged me double the retail price for the two parts that I would have paid at a plumbing supply store or Home Depot. I truly believe they charged me double on the entire job. BUYER BEWARE!

BUYER BEWARE! I hired this co to replace a water heater and 4 wks later my tenant didn't have hot water. The tech came out on overtime and let it slip that they used a water heater from a local supply co that they don't usually use, because mine had been under warranty so they reaped the benefits of that w/out telling me. Half a day later and the tenant finally had hot water again. Fast forward 4 days and it's out again. Another tech comes out and claims it's because the utility chimney is clogged and I need to have the chimney swept. They also decide my furnace needs replaced which I did not ask them to look at!? I pay to have a chimney expert come out, only to be told it's not clogged. Fast forward another 5 days and guess what? No hot water again! Another plumber came out and found that Behler's installed the water heater incorrectly! They used the wrong sized vent pipe! They are also extremely ignorant, unprofessional, and accusatory.

Buyer beware. Terribly over priced for the quality of work. I was given a quote of 80 hours and $9700 to replace a bathtub I eventually had replaced for, $1900 that a master plumber completed in less then 9 hours. Dave Yates knew I was in a crunch for time and it appears he saw an opportunity to take advantage of the situation that I, as a female business owner was in. Either that, or they just overcharge everyone.

Get written contract for specific parts by name, number of workers and time, job design, price, and 5-year guarantee on all with no overruns. Follow same rules with all contractor bids. Our experience was ""1-star.""

This company is very knowledgeable about steam heat and boilers. They put in a new boiler for us years ago after an incompetent company installed a boiler that was much too large for our home (and resulted in several years of excessive noise, etc.). They knew what they were doing, were courteous and efficient. They also gave great service when we needed follow up maintenance on the boilers and radiators.

Good knowledge of installing central a/c in an old house without duct work (see above - we have radiators)... They used a variety of traditional a/c in parts of the house as well as mini-splits in areas that they could not install flexible tubing or ductwork.

They replaced my gas furnace and air conditioning unit. Their installers were knowledgeable and did great work but It was their craftsmanship and attention to detail that impressed me the most. All of the new lines and vents were routed carefully and tied down neatly. I would recommend them (and have) to my friends who need AC work done.
