Great service and very thorough with telling us what was wrong,when we needed to get our furnace replaced. Pricing was good to we had a couple different companies give us pricing. We've also used them when having leak in pipe behind toilet. So used them twice and will continue to.

Had a problem with our AC unit not cooling. After a lot of self-troubleshooting, i narrowed it down to my unit freezing up which usually happens when the refrigerant is low.


I called F & S Wiliams at about 4pm and explained what was going on and they saif were going to send someone at night. I told them that wasnt necessary and I got a call from the technician the next morning and he was promptly at my house.

Chris showed up and was professional and courteous. I explained him what i knew and what I had tried and he was able to run a few tests and diagnose that the system was freezing up.

He explained to me the cost of refrigerant and offered to put that price in writing. I said that it was not necessary because F & S had been a good service for me 9 years ago when another company in town improperly installed my AC unit.

Chris charged the system and encouraged questions. He stressed how important customer service is to him and his boss and any questions I had were not interfering with him.

After the service was complete, he offered to bill me and I told him if I could use a card or check I could pay right now. He said card or check was acceptable and we settled up right there.

It will be 95 degrees tomorrow outside but inside my house it will be a comfortable 68 degrees thanks, in part, to Chris and F & S Williams.

I have used them before and if needed, I would not hesitate to use them again.

I found F & S Williams extremely helpful when my air conditioner froze up. They had a technician at my home quickly (same day!), he was very thorough and took the time to explain in detail exactly what the problem was.
I ended up replacing my 15 year old unit. The technicians were here on time (the next morning), they respected me and my home, cleaned up after themselves. I am thrilled with the new unit! It was reasonably priced and has been working perfectly in our current heat wave.
I would not hesitate to recommend this company and their wonderful employees to anyone dealing with an air conditioning problem.

Called them on extremely short notice (day of issue 6/14/16) and I asked for noon and at 12:15 they were working on the system. Was very happy with the service and very knowledgeable and also let my father and I know everything they were doing. My current system is 27 years old well maintained so it goes without saying im happy it still works. I would highly recommend them. I used to use Lafayette heating and cooling an not that there was any issue its just I wanted to try this company plus I know the owner. They also installed a new hot water heater 2 years prior to this month. An that was very short notice as well. So I appreciate there service.

F&S Williams ripped me off completely. They charged me over $1000 for a couple of hours work of plumbing and electrical repairs with no major material costs involved. They also refused to specify what they charged for in terms of material and labor cost/hour - probably because they knew themselves it was a ""scam"" price - in a way no serious business would. Will never use them again.
