Horrible experience all the way around! Work was not completed technician always late every time I ask a question he said I thought we went over that. The main thing is we borrowed a large amount of money and found out by a second opinion that we got ripped off. Now I can't get in touch with anyone at all about the job that cost all that money that was not finished under my home. It was just horrible I tell you. I'm still going through this mess and waiting for someone to come out and fix the problem. Less than zero stars and I would never recommend them.

The one time I take my neighborhood listserv at face value and fail to check Yelp, sure enough, I have a terrible experience consistent with their terrible Yelp rating. Read. The. Reviews. First.

Called on Monday about an air handler that leaked through our bedroom ceiling. Had to answer questions for 15 minutes before we could even get to whether there was a scheduling time that would work for us. The person on the phone mentioned their emergency criteria - for which we qualified - but then hemmed and hawed about having to contact dispatch, and not knowing whether there was someone available, this that and the other. Fine. Send someone Tuesday.

Their scheduling philosophy is you better either stay home all day (and night) for whenever a technician shows up (and judging from some reviews, IF they show up). I was able to push back and get them to at least commit to the afternoon. I found a relative willing to spend their afternoon at my house to let the tech in.

I got home at 5pm and...no tech. 6pm...no tech. I call them at 630pm and they gave me a vague, ""you're still on the tech's route, but he's on another call."" No updates, no time estimates, nothing. I canceled the call after a wasted day.

But even if the tech had eventually come, I asked FH Furr by email and by text where I could send the tech information about the issue, with photos, and got no response. It appears their email communication is only good for pitching their service plans, in case you routinely want to spend all day at home waiting for their techs to show up. Maybe. They could not even adequately explain their plans.

Gave them a second star by virtue of them having someone to hypothetically pick up the phone on a holiday. But all in all, complete fail of a first impression, and they will not have the opportunity to make a second one.

This company has a lot of excuses. They setup a time to come, then have to change that time. When they come they are trying to sell you other services and are not focus on the work that you called for. JUST DON""T USE THEM. You will NOT be happy!

I had an appointment for May 2, 2024. I waited all day for them. They called late in the day and cancelled. A wasted day waiting for FH Furr. Rescheduled the appointment for May 3, 2024. I waited all day for them. They confirmed the appointment *4* times by texts during the day. They then called an cancelled AGAIN - no reason given. Another day of my life getting little done waiting at home for FH Furr to honor their appointments. They are good at making appointments - but don't count on them actually showing up do do work. Why they seem unable to keep their commitments or manage their resources becomes the customers problem. I recommend people find another company that actually shows up for their appointments and doesn't leave you sitting at home wasting your time.

The worst. They bought our plumbing and HVAC company. They have been hours late for all appointments and the first thing they told us is we need a new hot water heater and a completely new HVAC system. I agreed to the hot water heater. I was told to be available at 8 am for installation and I would be the first call. It is now 11:30 am and they still have not arrived. Do not use this company.

COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE. Made an appointment for them to come the next day. They said they would come in the afternoon. I called every hour to see when they would come and they told me multiple times within the next hour. At 5pm I called to check the status and they told me the technician can no longer come. There was no sense of apology or recognition for their lack of communication or incompetence. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

Sales person at local Costco reached out to me and asked for AC inspection. He told us that someone will visit the property between 9am and 12 pm.
Unfortunately, no one showed up and even didn't bother to give a status update. I have been waiting all day as they asked for someone 18+ to be present during inspection.
I called their office twice but nothing positive.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend them for any service. Just look for somewhere else and save your time.

Super expensive!! We contacted F.H. Furr after experiencing clogged drainage in our house. The technician gave us the repair options and costs and since we were in desperate situation with accepted the work and were told that if we sign up for monthly maintenance agreement we get a discount on the repair. So we agreed to pay almost $1800 for the job and $14 monthly service fee. We also got an estimate of over $17000.00 to dig out the driveway and replace the pipes. Upon calling other companies we got estimates of $900 for clearing drainage and $4500 for digging the driveway and pipe replacement. We couldn't believe how expensive F.H. Furr was and decided to cancel the monthly service agreement and calling the company. Now, we were told that we have to pay a cancellation fee which was not mentioned at the time. In fact we were told that we can cancel at any time.
Seek another company!!!!

I went to the website and placed a contact request. I then called because I didn't want to wait and possibly miss the call. When speaking with the representative. She stated that the company ""doesn't do sump pump repairs and we only check to make sure electricity is getting to it"". I needed sump pump repair and therefore I said ok and moved on to another company. Within 15mins I received a call from the company(due to my contact request). I told the representative I had already spoken to someone and repeated what was said. The representative told me they actually do sump pump repair. I thanked him for his time and told him I already moved on with another company. He apologized for the miscommunication and wished me a great weekend. Everyone needs to be on one accord when it comes to product knowledge and providing guidance to potential clients. The first representative should have gotten me over to someone else. She could have asked a manager if she did not know the answer. So many different options rather then discouraging a potential client from service.

Do not use this company if you need permits pulled. The technicians were very professional, but their contracts department has failed at every turn in getting permitting done.

We contracted with them in August 2023 to install an outdoor receptacle for an EV charger, and to pull a circuit for a cooktop. The actual electrical work was fine (there were some issues with parts availability) but it took multiple calls and intervention from Rockville councilmembers to actually get the permit moving for the EV charger circuit, which only got closed out this March. The cooktop circuit permit is still outstanding.

I only ever received one call back from their contracts department, despite calling nearly weekly to try to get things moving.
