KD L.I'm not a fan of package pricing and being upsold with add-ons and memberships. It's very exhausting for a customer and instills fear that if you don't make the right decision (on a subject you may have little knowledge of) you'll regret it later. So needless to say, our scheduled visit ended up costing way more than we anticipated. Though this seems to be the common business model these days unfortunately. That being said, Chad was awesome and went above and beyond to find a solution to our plumbing issue. He was thorough, thoughtful, patient, and kind. We definitely recommend Chad the plumber!
The company I was using was bought out by FH Furr. I highly recommend avoiding this company. Their prices are sky-high even if you're paying for their annual plan. Their technicians are incentivized to sell you things you don't need. Their pricing is done by packages. If what you want doesn't exactly fit into one of their packages they will find another package that also incudes the other item(s) which will also charge you labor on top of the labor you're already being charged for in the first package resulting in multiplying your labor charge rather than just charging for the extra part or part changeout (example - simple installation of a single circuit breaker into an existing breaker panel, running about 10 feet of wire, putting in a simple outlet box and outlet runs about $500 with parts & labor. If you want the installed outlet to be a GFCI outlet - a part cost difference of about $10 at a hardware store - they tack on an additional service charge of $175 for parts and labor on top of the previous charge). HVAC - regular inspection of a 4 year old heat pump - the technician comes down from the attic with pix on his phone of 'biological' growth (they can't say ""mold"" but hope that's what you'll think) and warn that it should be taken care of quickly (almost $300 to clean or nearly $1400 for a UV system). I called another company who came in the next day, took pix as well and found NO issues. Also, they could not find anything that looked like the pictures that the FH Furr technician showed me. FH FURR IS NOT TRUSTWORTHY. RUN AWAY.
Beware. They've been bought out by FH Furr. I've spent over an hour just trying to get an appointment for them to come out to repair an HVAC system they installed in April or May 2022.
The conversion to Furr's computer system must have been horrible, because they can't even find the unit ***that they installed***. I still don't have an appointment, so without a/c.
If they ever find the unit and send someone to repair, I'll post update. But it's not looking good.
Update: It gets worse. After oral confirmation of afternoon appointment, text confirmation for 7:30 am (NO!). I have now spent 4-1/2 hours trying to get appointment.
Called them back within 5 minutes. Answering service! Had to repeat everything for the fifth time.
Very angry and upset. They clearly don't care about customers.
They didn't listen to what services I requested, I waited 3 weeks for them to come out and they send the wrong type of technician I needed for my ac unit and heat pump. I also asked for a oil furnace clean and maintenance and the technician said he doesn't do that. I had just wasted my time so i sent them home.
They did check my Freon and said it was as completely empty which was false. I hired another company and they said it was low but not empty, 6 pounds out of about 11 pounds was put back into the system.
They messed up and still charged me $95 diagnostic fee. I called to try compromise and they didn't want to.Even before I called them I sent them several emails with no response. I made it clear I didn't want to be charged for bad service. They chose money over their reputation.
Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value
A-Quality says it all, from the office staff, to Sean the estimator, and Paul and Brandon the installers. They showed up on time and wore COVID Protection and booties. Paul asked if I had any special instructions for them or any concerns and we discussed them. Next, I showed Paul the access route to the work area and they put drop clothes down. Paul asked again if I had any questions. Then like ""ninjas"" they began to remove the old units and install the new units. Once they completed the work, Paul took me to new unit. He explained what they did, how it worked and asked if I had any question and answered all of them. Paul said to call them in the spring and they would come back out, because at 47F they could not start up the A/C. Paul walked me around the install and asked again if everything was satisfactory with me, quality cleanliness, etc. I approved. It's all in the name ""A-Quality, reasonable pricing and top notch work. I was a commercial construction contractor for over 40 years and had over 60 employees at times and Hats Off to Paul, Brandon and everyone at A-Quality Heating.
Thanks for a Great job from everyone! Have a Happy New Year!

Had a great experience with them. I needed some ductwork taken down in order for a plumber to reach the plumbing issue and then I needed the ductwork put back up the next day. They gave me a great price and worked around my schedule and the plumber's schedule. The techs were on time, did great work, and cleaned everything up before they left.
We had our entire HVAC system replaced we got many many estimates and went with A Quality. They had the best price a great warranty and one of the best units you can buy. I can't say enough good things about this company, the two technicians who came out were polite they finished in about 4 1/2 hours which is great when you have dogs and you have to keep them confined. If you're looking for an HVAC company I definitely recommend this one. I recommend staying away from the big names because they are more expensive. We were quoted a price twice what A Quality gave us and with them we got a Trane HVAC system which is one of the best you can buy.
Robert R.This company has provided nothing short of great service. The technician arrived a little earlier than expected, quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue and explained everything he did each step of the way. Very professional and knowledgeable! In an out in about an hour. Thank you AQuality!
Brian S.Does the ""A"" Stand for Awful?
My wife and I had a whole-home humidifier installed October 8, 2018 to prep for the winter ahead. My wife was 5 months pregnant and we have a grand piano that needs to be kept at a certain humidity level. Unfortunately, the tech who installed the system wired it incorrectly, never checked, took his money, and left. Fast forward to a bunch of nosebleeds and cracked skin later and we find out that the humidifier had never run once. After I discovered this in January I called A Quality who sent out a different tech who indicated that the first tech did in fact wire it incorrectly; he said as much on this second invoice. This second tech fixed the problem, but when I called ownership the next day to express my concern about both my wife and the piano (in that order, of course!) the response was ambivalence and uncaring. The owner admitted it was done wrong, blamed me for not calling sooner, and then tried to argue that the first tech did everything as per usual as he should (wired the system to the G-terminal, etc.) even though the owner then, in the same sentence, agreed that it was incorrectly installed. I was hoping he would try and make it right by offering a service for the system in the spring season or something, but instead I was told that, and this is a direct quote, ""We give away more free stuff than ten other HVAC companies. It's sometimes easier to give away something for free than to argue with people."" I guess since don't shout or curse or cause an enormous scene I was easier to argue with. (I also asked him, if his techs are so good, why is he giving away ""more free stuff than ten other HVAC companies?"" He didn't have a great response...). In the end, I recommend Cool Breeze. They may be a bit more expensive, but they stand behind their products, do the job right, and are always available and on call. We had Cool Breeze install our condenser and heating unit a summer before this incident with A Quality and today I am very grateful that we chose them over A Quality. I work in the public school system. I give A Quality a D for Competence and an F for Customer Service.
Michelle P.We've used A-Quality to replace our AC system and for furnace repair. Their techs are top notch - friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeable. Good and fair prices as well. I wouldn't call anyone else for my HVAC needs!
