Sales person at local Costco reached out to me and asked for AC inspection. He told us that someone will visit the property between 9am and 12 pm.
Unfortunately, no one showed up and even didn't bother to give a status update. I have been waiting all day as they asked for someone 18+ to be present during inspection.
I called their office twice but nothing positive.
Unfortunately, I can't recommend them for any service. Just look for somewhere else and save your time.
Super expensive!! We contacted F.H. Furr after experiencing clogged drainage in our house. The technician gave us the repair options and costs and since we were in desperate situation with accepted the work and were told that if we sign up for monthly maintenance agreement we get a discount on the repair. So we agreed to pay almost $1800 for the job and $14 monthly service fee. We also got an estimate of over $17000.00 to dig out the driveway and replace the pipes. Upon calling other companies we got estimates of $900 for clearing drainage and $4500 for digging the driveway and pipe replacement. We couldn't believe how expensive F.H. Furr was and decided to cancel the monthly service agreement and calling the company. Now, we were told that we have to pay a cancellation fee which was not mentioned at the time. In fact we were told that we can cancel at any time.
Seek another company!!!!
Ashley A.I went to the website and placed a contact request. I then called because I didn't want to wait and possibly miss the call. When speaking with the representative. She stated that the company ""doesn't do sump pump repairs and we only check to make sure electricity is getting to it"". I needed sump pump repair and therefore I said ok and moved on to another company. Within 15mins I received a call from the company(due to my contact request). I told the representative I had already spoken to someone and repeated what was said. The representative told me they actually do sump pump repair. I thanked him for his time and told him I already moved on with another company. He apologized for the miscommunication and wished me a great weekend. Everyone needs to be on one accord when it comes to product knowledge and providing guidance to potential clients. The first representative should have gotten me over to someone else. She could have asked a manager if she did not know the answer. So many different options rather then discouraging a potential client from service.
Dennis L.Do not use this company if you need permits pulled. The technicians were very professional, but their contracts department has failed at every turn in getting permitting done.
We contracted with them in August 2023 to install an outdoor receptacle for an EV charger, and to pull a circuit for a cooktop. The actual electrical work was fine (there were some issues with parts availability) but it took multiple calls and intervention from Rockville councilmembers to actually get the permit moving for the EV charger circuit, which only got closed out this March. The cooktop circuit permit is still outstanding.
I only ever received one call back from their contracts department, despite calling nearly weekly to try to get things moving.
First off, i am not in SF, I am in Maryland. I use a VPN and it shows me as SF. I called for a quote on replacing existing outdoor lighting. The electrician came out and provided a quote of over $2,000 to replace the existing lighting. 2 other electricians came out and said 4 to 5 hours of work at $125 or $175 per hour. $600 to $700 is fair. 3 times that? Anyone using these guys, dont pay attention to the seeded reviews they paid for. This is a farce. I would never call these guys again.

Zero stars from me! Friday, Jan 26, 2024 had 2 brand new hot waters installed. Today, Sunday, January 28, we have no hot water in the house. Additionally, Monday, January 22, 2024, the plumbing technicians descaled our main water line, which entailed removing and reinstalling our basement toilet. We discovered today, the toilet is not flushing. Between my husband and myself, we have contacted FHFurr 5 times since 11am, asking for the technician to come and restore our hot water as they have 24/7 emergency service. My husband also asked to speak to a supervisor numerous times, with no success. I was told the install supervisor, Stephen, would contact me today after leaving a message at 11am, only to discover Stephen is not working today.
We were told by the third rep, Dee, who answered the phone that supervisor ""Meg"" already spoke to us. Not true.
My husband finally spoke to a supervisor, Margaret, who confirmed no one will restore our hot water or toilet issue today, but would put us on their schedule for tomorrow, with no guarantee that they will arrive first thing, or any time frame in which we should expect them.
The Mitsubishi system was apparently made for subarctic temperatures but cannot function in MD more than two days (longest was 2 weeks). Would never recommend.
Have been getting the run around from FH Furr. It's impossible to actually get a manager involved. They send techs that admittedly do not know how to work on mini split/heat pump systems. I'm so incredibly disappointed.
I first called FH Furr because of a noise coming from my HVAC heat pump system. I had to have three technicians come out before they could give me a diagnosis. The noise was intermittent at first, so the first technician couldn't hear it except in the videos I took. I recognize this makes it much harder to diagnose.
However, he said because the noise was coming from the pipes that lead to the heat pump system, I needed a plumber. When FH Furr sent a plumber, the plumber was not even there for 5 minutes. He took one look at the system and said they don't touch pipes that lead to HVAC and that the HVAC guy has to do that.
When I called to have another HVAC guy come out, I specifically requested someone who was an expert in my kind of system. Instead, they sent the same person out. That guy was finally able to call a more experienced technician who could give me a diagnosis. The technician and whoever assigns technicians should have known the plumbers wouldn't touch it.
I had to have another HVAC visit before my building would fix the noise. While there, the technician realized that the UV light and electric filter that the first HVAC person installed had been set up incorrectly and had stopped working. Luckily, they came out and fixed it, but the whole time, a $3,000 upgrade they had recommended wasn't working.
The technicians were all very nice and were even willing to wait with me to talk to my building manager to explain that the noise was a building problem. They also didn't charge me for every visit, but their lack of expertise meant I had to have more people come out and that things were incorrectly installed.
To make this all more frustrating, the scheduling process is terrible. They have an online scheduling system, but when you try to use it, you never get a confirmation or any acknowledgment that the request was received and accepted.
They also claim that the day before your appointment, you'll get a time estimate of when the technician will come out. In the five appointments I have had with them, they have never done that. Even when I called the day before to get an estimate, they wouldn't give me one.
I ended up buying a membership, so I also tried to use it for a plumbing inspection, but two days before the appointment, they canceled it. When I called back to try and see why it was canceled, they said it wasn't canceled, but then, on the day of the appointment, they again said it was canceled.
I wouldn't recommend them unless you have an emergency and they're the only ones you can get out.
I called and they booked appointed . Told me between 8-12 would arrive . Never showed . Call them and they said person didn't put in time !!!
The joke is had two confirmation text as well .
I only called them to satisfy my wife to use a ""Professional"" company .
