DON'T use this company! They are unethical and have deceiving and misleading billing practices. I was charged $295.00 for a 30-40 minute job. They are fraudulent in the way they do business. Many other better plumbers out there. Don't even consider using them for any of their services!

Our water heater went up. We called several companies but no one could
install one for several days. Called Kling and Sons. They had a technician here in an hours time. He replaced the water heater the same day. Thank you Kling & Sons. You will always be the one we call.

I only gave them one star because you have to give them something. We made an appt with them to give us an estimate to run a natural gas line through our basement and replace our existing electric hot water heater with a gas one. They were suppose to be here on a Monday morning at 9 am. They were given our numbers to call if they had a problem. At 9:30 they were not here and we had heard from no one. I called the office directly and got voicemail. I left a message with my name and number saying we had an appt at 9 and no one showed or called. I requested someone please call me back and let me know if and when someone was coming and why no one called to advise they would be at least 30 min late. I said my time is as valuable as theirs. About 5 min later the tech showed up. No apology or explanation as to why he was late. My husband showed him to the basement and told him what we were looking to have done. The man never took out a tape measure or wrote anything down. He said he would send the estimate. After a week and a half and no estimate my husband called him. Of course he got voicemail and he asked if he was sending an estimate. Another 4 days went by and we finally got a call back from him but my husband was driving so he couldn't answer his phone. The tech left a message giving an amount but that was it. I never did get a call from the office. The long and short I would never deal with these folks nor would I recommend them for anything. Very unprofessional as far as I am concerned.

Quick, reliable and friendly. They even made financing for our new HVAC system easy this past May. They brought a tablet along to help with quote, scheduling and financing. This company followed through on all that was promised. Very credible and responsive company.

I have a service contract with these clowns and when they showed up to do my yearly A/C check the tech pulled the shut off switch and it broke...accident. Unit was running absolutely fine up until this point. They install a new box/ pull switch ($13.67 is what the box cost) and they give me a bill for $151.00!!!! I called to discuss the bill and 2 weeks later the head honcho calls me back and is unwilling to consume any of the over inflated cost basically blaming me and defending his tech. I'm sorry but I am the customer!! Long story short this man is an arrogant smart a$$ who isn't concerned with keeping his customers happy. if you are smart you will STAY AWAY from these jerks. My hot water heater kept turning off over night, so I called Kling's to come out and take a look at it hoping they could tell me exactly what is wrong with it. They charge a standard $75 service fee which I was ok with. The tech came out looked at the date and said I need to buy a new hot water heater because my unit is old. He did not tell me what the problem was with the unit which I find strange. He quoted me $1100 to install a new unit which is very overpriced. Once I looked at the invoice I noticed they charged me an extra $55 just to light the unit.

After looking up the problem on Google, I called another company and they came out and fixed it for $50.

I will never use this company again nor will I recommend them to anybody.

CARBON MONOXIDE LEAK IN MY HOUSE DO TO BAD INSTALL

Their improper install caused chimney damage and sickness, as the boiler company clearly states in instructions. We have had the chimney failure and sickness. If I turn it on again we could DIE!!

I hired them to put in a new boiler, water heater, toilet and garbage disposal. A very expensive job.

They did not install boiler according to manufacturer recommendations and my boiler has been shut down due to CARBON MONOXIDE leak. We have no heat!

The owner is happy with that and will not stand behind their work.

Also called for them to check installation. He was in and out in 4 minutes, didn't touch anything, did not check the ventilation problem and billed $75. I asked if he could help with something else since he charged me $75 for zero work and not doing what I called him out for and was told No!

Be careful for your safety! They will not stand behind their work.

We have used F. F. Kling & Sons since the purchase of our home in 2005. They provide excellent service, from the office personnel to the techs. The techs always make sure they protect our floors and do a wonderful job of cleaning up afterward. They offer helpful information and make sure all of my questions are answered.
I would recommend F. F, Kling & Sons to anyone interested in receiving great service from a well known and established company that has been around for over 90 years. You just don't see that now-a days.
They give me a calendar during the winter furnace check - no one does that anymore. We just purchased a new Rheem furnace from them and look forward to our continued relationship.

Recently moved into a house about 6 months ago, and my furnace was working great. Ran air conditioning for 2 months without a problem. All of a sudden, my unit stopped cooling as well, so I called FF Kling to come out and diagnose the issue.

They sent out a young man who told us that our air conditioner had the old style freon, and that we needed to replace the unit and it would be around $5000. It did not have the old style freon.

I called the next day, and they sent out another tech who told us it was the AC unit and the furnace. The man then told me it would cost about $8000-$10,000 to replace both units.

I finally called another company, and they charged my AC unit and repaired the issue in about 30 minutes. What should have been a $300 repair, would have cost me an arm and a leg because FF Kling is completely dishonest.

I left a message with the owner of the company to return my call, and after 3 days, I never got my call returned. I called again today, and the secretary told me the owner got my message and he would call me next week. I asked politely to speak with the owner now, and he refused to speak with me.

As a small business owner, I know that customer service and honesty is what separates a great company from a bad one. Kling has proven they are a terrible company.
