A truly nightmare to work with them. We chose them as they did a small repair for us years ago and it didn't go wrong.

This time we hired them for a relatively big plumbing project. Agreed on the terms (scope of work, pulling permit etc.) on Apr 16. Percy promised the work would be finished by Apr 23. The crew finished part of work on Apr 22, and then Percy vanished for 2 weeks. During the time, we had an open trench and waste piled up in our front yard.

After calling him during business hours daily and sending him multiple messages, he finally sent a text saying the city is holding it up. Called city and was told Percy did not file a permit until Apr 29 and ignored the city's simple and repeated inquiry on the length of the pipe to be installed.

I had to work with the city to get the permit issued and inspection scheduled. Percy didn't show up on inspection day and I had to step in to help city finish inspection. He promised to haul away the waste after inspection and again did not do so.

We had landscaping work lined up and had to postpone and postpone. I also had to pour hours into contacting him and finding alternative solution when it looked apparent he had abandoned the project.

Stay away from this company is my advice to you.

I had called this company a few years back because I had a leak in my garage near my water heater. This company sent an incompetent plumber named Jaime to my house (hope he's been fired by now). This guy have no idea what was the problem and immediately said that I needed a new water heater. I felt it was strange that he said that because my water heater not leaking and the water seem to be coming from the ground. So I told him to leave and got a second opinion and an experienced plumber told me that it was a stab leak and he was right so I had the slab leak fixed no thanks to Jamie or this company. When you hire incompetent people sooner or later it's going to be apparent and I am glad I didn't trust Jaime or this company.

Percy did a good job previously and I would have hired him again, but the communication is horrible.

I texted him on Wed night for a leak, and he said that he can take a look, but Thursday evening said that he didn't have my address. I think it's a common-sense for any business owner to be proactive when you have a prospecting customer.
I gave him a benefit of the doubt and reach out again on Friday morning. I do receive a call back after my text, the person from E-Z plumbing said that he is going to call me back in 5 minutes. I was waiting for a whole day and lose track of time as I'm working from home. Turn out that I never got a call back from the company at all.

My advice is to call somebody else who is more responsive, EZ plumbing did a very good job (if you can get hold of them), but they also consider your business as EZ as well unfortunately.

My sewage was leaking out into my garden, I called ez plumbing tonight and to my surprise he offered to come fix it tonight!! He came quickly and charged me fair pricing and did not charge me extra for it being late and on a weekend. I love this company and is a hard working man, I wish him and his company the best! May God bless him and his family and continue to send him good honest employees!

The company was great in responding so quickly and having a team out here within an hour of when I called with our issue. Thankful that they had time to fix our shower since we needed to shut off the water to the house. They were professional, wore masks, and booties. They left the bathroom clean and all was working when they left.

I am highly satisfied with E-Z Plumbing (Dollar St., Hayward) and the job completed in September, 2019. Percy Novoa did a camera inspection to check the sewer line and to determine where it was connected to the city main. Although there were no problems with the 50+ year old sewer line at the Castro Valley property, it was prudent to have a California licensed plumbing company install a trenchless lateral line before the sewer pipe broke or had problems. E-Z Plumbing's contract for a trenchless lateral sewer line was descriptive of the materials and included obtaining a county permit. The price was very fair. The workers were professional and efficient while on-site and completed the work in three days. The inspection report was text messaged to me within the week of job completion. E-Z Plumbing also emailed me a Certificate of Compliance to comply with the CVSan ordinance regarding lateral sewer lines. Communication with E-Z Plumbing (Percy Novoa) is mainly through text messaging. There is an office number to call, but response is more reliable by texting. Best to have a smart phone to communicate with this company.

Percy is the best. He is honest and very helpful. The rooter hero was going to charge me alot of money for the camera snaking but EZ Plumbing was nice enough to do the camera and told me it wasn't a problem and boy he is so honest. I would definitely go with him again. It's hard to find a geniune person in this business so Kudos for your honest work.

Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service. They promise to come, but never show up. PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. They have to come and fix the cement slab they replaced.

Very disappointed, have a clogged garage sink and it is leaking. Called in the am and was told they would come around 2:30, no show, no phone call. I finally texted them at 6:30 and when they called me back, I was told they showed up at the door and knocked, there is a very loud doorbell if you push the button. Someone was home. But I at least expect a phone call.
