BEWARE If I could leave zero stars I would. I took Dale and his company EZ HVAC AND PLUMBING to small claims court and WON because he is a scam artist. I see he changed the name of his company probably because of all the bad reviews EZ HVAC and PLUMBING was getting. I wish I seen the bad reviews before paying them. And they all are the same complaints. He is a liar and a cheater. I only win $5,000 because that is the max in small claims court. Dale came to my house to replace a water filtration system. He was very nice and friendly at first. I was ignorant to these systems and I expressed this to him unfortunately and he took advantage of that. We paid over $8000 with the promise of having good clean drinking water. And he was never able to produce that. I went back and forth with him giving him chance after chance for 10 months to remedy the problem then he tried to start charging me and telling me that I needed to buy a reverse osmosis system after he told me during the initial consultation that I didn't need that. He said lied and said I told him I couldn't afford it. I think after paying $8,000 and extra 300 is nothing. The water test I always received have my name and address on it. Then when I started complaining about home well tests that I was taking at home he came and took a sample then gave me back results that didn't have my name or anything identifying that that sample came from my house. It showed that the sample came from the kitchen sink when my kitchen sink wasn't even working at the time and he took it from the bathroom. The address on the sample was actually a lake Katrine address. But they tried to tell me it was from my house. The final straw was when I told him my home test was showing lead also and he told me that it was ok to have lead in my water to drink. Huge red flag. I have kids and that day is when I cut ties with him. I realized He didn't know anything about water filtration system I actually think I knew more then him. I realized he contracts out but when something goes wrong he tries to bull crap his way through so he is not losing money. He got upset when my daughter who is 25 yrs old left a bad review and threatened to post all of my information trying to prove his case I guess lol. Basically proving his incompetence of guaranteeing results but couldn't produce the results lol. I had another company come and look at my system and realized they installed pipes to the UV light in backward. The out was going in and the in was going out. So they fixed the UV light removed a tank that wasn't needed and put the correct tank in that I needed and it has been over a year that I have had clean drinkable water. Thanks to HART water conditioning.

Lot of bad reviews here, which is weird to me because we haven't had anything but great experiences with them. First time they came over was a year ago to replace the old hot water heater with a new on-demand system. We've had zero problems with it. While Dale and his crew were over, they volunteered to tweak some DIY plumbing I'd done (mine was mostly-okay but theirs was definitely better), and they did it for free.

We recently had them back over to replace our 30-year-old gas fireplace. It did take a reschedule because they had a couple guys test positive for covid and so they sent their entire crew to get tested, but I appreciated that, and besides our project wasn't an emergency. When they came out, we discussed a few options in terms of scope (""you know we could hide that pipe, but we'd have to drill through the brick""), and ultimately decided to go the simpler/cheaper route. No pressure or anything by the crew.

We're eventually gonna have to gut renovate both the kitchen and bathroom (when we can afford it), and we will absolutely be calling them when that time comes.

Do not hire this company. Literally, a nightmare -- about $25,000 down the drain. EZ HVAC designed and installed an HVAC system that does not work and, as it turned out, would never work. The furnace and compressor were oversized and the ductwork (supply and return) was undersized. I learned the hard way when my system began choking for air and would not work. My efforts to get the matter remedied ranged from unresponsive to ugly. That's not even the whole story (it gets worse), but I'm going to leave it at that.

The team at EZ are phenomenal, including the business owner himself who often works along side his techs. The work is always done in an effective timely manner. The crew made sure to clean up whatever mess made on there behalf. One of the great things is that they provide estimates upfront prior to work for every detail, which makes for no hidden charges or fee. I could not be more satisfied with the results of the work completed. I would highly recommend.

EZ HVAC & Plumbing (Kingston NY) serviced my house in March 2021 to clean out all ducts of small debris and dust. I was assured that they had the best equipment in Hudson Valley. After purchasing my new home I wanted the ducts cleaned and serviced. Well I had my ducts cleaned by EZ HVAC only to find out after they were cleaned that there was still so much debris that it doesn't even look like anyone cleaned the ducts. Did it remove the cobwebs, yes. Did it remove any small debris, sadly no. The owner and I viewed a duct together after their apparent cleaning, at my request, and the amount of small debris was alarming. Also while viewing that duct, the owner saw this object in the camera and he said, ""Is that a dead mouse"" and never even bothered to offer to get it out nor mention anything about it again. He finished packing up his supplies and off he went. Why was I getting my ducts cleaned in the first place? For dust, small debris, and anything you might find that should be removed from the ducts especially a dead mouse, or anything that could spark a fire.

EZ HVAC (EZ) (Kingston, NY) serviced my furnace in Woodstock, NY on November 17, 2020. During the service, the EZ workers discovered a leak in a furnace pipe. The workers instructed me to call the EZ office to reschedule follow-up work to fix the leak. I immediately called EZ. EZ, via Nicky, said she couldn't reschedule me then because she didn't know if ""parts needed to be ordered"" and she needed to talk with the EZ workers when they returned to the office. She said she ""has my number and will me back to reschedule."" She never called me back. I contacted another furnace servicer, who, at the service visit on December 1, diagnosed the leak as a simple misconnection of the existing pipes. The servicer readjusted and reconnected the existing pipes and completely fixed the leak. Nicky, in response to my December 1 complaint against EZ, falsely claims she told me parts to fix the leak would be delayed from the distributor because of COVID. No parts were needed.
