I've called them a few times over the years, getting a different guy each time. Previous guys were fine, did the job quickly and professionally, but Ernie was really grating and loved the sound of his own voice. He would ask us questions and then talk (bellow) over us when we tried to answer. Other reviewers here have mentioned his propensity for proposing unrelated unnecessary work at ridiculous prices. For example, the shutoff valve on one of our toilets didn't work. He said we'd have to tear the wall out and it would cost $1000. In fact, the next plumber repaired the valve in 10 minutes.

We called Extreme Plumbing as our Heating system was not turning on. The owner Ernie came over and looked at it right away. Told us after looking at it that the system was too big for the pipes, water was around the boiler and it needed to be replaced. Further stated that the boilers do not last longer than 10 years max.I was away and told him we would contact the company who serviced it the yer prior as they never seemed to indicate that it was nearing its end as it was just about 10 years old. Anyway, Callahan A/C and Heating came out and determined one of the pumps was the issue. After a 1.5 hours service call from Callahan Heating and A/C the system was up and running and we paid exactly $202.50 for the service call. Also, the tech told me what was said by Extreme Plumbing was basically a crock of sh**t. The area around the system was bone dry, it was a high end system that had many, many years left. Ernie from Extreme Plumbing, on the other hand, rudely demanded, after I said I wanted to get a 2nd opinion that he needed to be paid his $150.00 service call NOW STAY AWAY from Extreme Plumbing....Run by Ernie the Scammer.

So Ernie comes out to my home to look at an installation of bidet for one of our toilets. I also mention the sink in the bathroom leaks a bit under the vanity and cabinet. So he quotes me $200.00 for the bidet installation and $699.00 to replace the piping under sink. $700.00 for 30 minutes worth of work and $20.00 in PVC!!!!! Since then, I called 4 different local companies ranging from $100.00 - $250 on the high side. Scammer and someone looking to make a fast buck and take advantage of people, BEWARE!

If I can give no stars I would. These guys are beyond rude and unprofessional. Not only were they late, but they spent most of the time talking and laughing about stuff not related to the job. Not to mention that they tried to rip us off. Save yourself the trouble and STAY AWAY.

Made appointment on Christmas eve 2 to 4 and never showed... called and spoke to them, they said later that day, and no showed again... never awnsered again after the second appointment came and went.. very cold christmas

My husband and I are beyond great full for Ernie coming out to our house on Christmas Eve to take care of a septic issue. Very professional and reliable. I highly recommend anyone looking for a plumber to use this company.

We had an AC unit breakdown prior to closing on our house; we called Extreme plumbing and Ernie sent out Bob that same day for a diagnostic. He was there the next day to start the repair/replacement process and finished the work one day before we closed on our house. Bob did a very thorough job and worked many hours in order to get the job done. .

This company is located in my town and I hired them to replace a facet. I couldn't be home so my Mom was here. The bill that his worker seemed really high but I paid his guy because the owner Ernie lives right down the street from me. His worker called me until 9:30 at night to get paid. I was really skeptical but again paid because the owner is my neighbor. I asked for an invoice to substantiate the cost but after more than 3 months Ernie, the owner, has not produced one. I have given him more an ample opportunity and multiple emails to respond to me and he will not. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! They are completely untrustworthy and will screw even their neighbors.

Had a hot water heater fail at a rental I have. Called a few plumbers and they were all in the same price range so I figured I would give Extreme a try. I was not available to be there when they did the work, so the tenant let them in. They called to tell me that the tenant was having issues with the toilet, so I told them to put a new one in. Extreme Plumbing owner called me at the end of the day and I gave him my credit card info over the phone and told him to mail all documentation and receipts to me. No documentation showed up, so I called the owner back and he said he would send it out right away. Waited about a week, nothing showed up, called Extreme again, owner says to text him my address again and he will have it out right away. Another week and no paperwork, so I text him again and nothing shows. Call the owner's cell and he told me again that he would get it out right away. Still no paperwork for any warranty issues I may have, or receipts for tax purposes. I actually texted and called a few more times, and never received any paperwork, it's been 4 or 5 months now. Similar to the other review (Brian F) the owner just refuses to follow through but on the phone treats you like your best friends. There are too many plumbing companies around to deal with an owner that tells you what you want to hear then completely blows you off. I will NEVER deal with this company again.

These guys are all about upselling you on anything and everything. The work was shoddy and they didn't provide reciepts for any of the work.
