We used Extreme Plumbing in March when we had yet another blocked sink, previous plumbing companies had tried to get us to replace our old Iron Pipes which would have been thousands of dollars.

Extreme we great, took the time to show the video of what they had found and then recommended they Hydro Jet our drains from the house to the main sewer line.

We've not had a blockage since.

I called yesterday afternoon to have a clogged drain cleared. The person who answered the phone said a technician would be out in about an hour.
Well, after waiting for 3 HOURS, I called to find out where the technician was. I was sent a text reply saying that they were ""tied up"". I was then asked if they could come out THIS MORNING. Not after they were done where they were, the following morning.
When the technician came out, he was quick and friendly. He was done within 30 minutes.
When it came time for the bill I was hoping for a bit of a discount for having to wait almost 24 hours to get my drain cleared. Nope! Regular price.
Then, to add insult to injury, I had to wait AGAIN for someone else to show up with a credit reader so I could pay for their services.

This was my first experience with this company. Rest assured, it will also be my last.

I went and tried to install a kitchen sink on my own, ended up messing up my pipe, so I looked into professional help. I called a few places before I got ahold of Dan at Extreme Plumbing. Every other place gave astronomical prices and I assumed I wouldn't be able to hire someone to help me fix my pipe and finish the installation. Luckily, I got ahold of Dan and I told him we had a budget, which was a bit below everything else we had been quoted. Unlike the other places Dan was understanding, professional, and extremely knowledgeable with what he was doing. He fit me in less than a day after we first talked, he explained to me everything he was doing, and stayed within our budget. I can't recommend someone more for anyone's plumbing needs. Dan took on this job like I was a friend and not just a client. If you want to feel safe about price, honesty, and great work, you definitely need to hire from extreme plumbing.

Dan plumed my home about 13 years ago and at least one of the elbow joints was sweated incorrectly. It started leaking very slowly and finally came loose and flooded my garage. The plumber who repaired it said that there was probably just enough solder to hold it for a little while, but eventually the joint failed. Dan said he only warranted for one year!

I would stay clear away from this plumbing company. I put in a request via Angie's list and Extreme Plumbing(Dan) among others called back. Dan had the best price($150) for replacing the flushing mechanism for my Whitehause toilet that was leaking and causing excessive water bills over the last 3 months. He began checking things and made some adjustments with the existing, faulty flushing mechanism and said the toilet was now working, but he needed to check the water pressure in the house because excessive pressure would cause the toilet to continue to run due to it putting a lot of water pressure on the flush mechanisms. Well, I has just had the water pressure checked a few days earlier and it was fine at 45, but he came back and said it was almost twice as high at 80. I found this very strange, because a month or so earlier, I had Culligan come out to make sure my R/O system was working properly and not leaking, causing the water increase and they said the pressure was at ~50, which is fine. Dan(Extreme Plumbing) said we needed the pressure valve replaced due to the increased pressure and that would be an additional $375(parts and labor). Before I agreed to that, I wanted a fourth opinion at this point. Dan stated that if everything checked out fine by this 4th party, he would come back and change out the flushing mechanism as I originally request for the remained of the $150, which I had already given him $125, so that left $25.

A few days later, I had ""Cable Pipe and Leak Detection"" come out to check the home for water leaks. Jose was the best. He was able to confirm that the pressure valve was fine and I had no leaks in the home or the slab. He did however state that the issue was the toilets flush mechanism. It was wasting roughly 7 gallons of water per-minute. He did the math based on Vallecitos formula and calculated that I was wasting roughly ~30k gallons of water per-month, just on that toilet(I could be a little off on the math). I had been shutting the toilet off/on over the last several months suspecting it as the culprit for my excessive water bills, but wasn't quite sure until after the leak inspect that was prompt by Dan's incompetence. Armed with this information I called Dan at Exterme Plumbing with the evidence provided by CPL. He said he was at a customer site working on a plumbing issue and would give me a call back when done to discuss replacing the flushing mechanism for the remaining $25 of the $150(I already paid him $125). Needless to say, I have not heard from Dan since. He's not returning my calls, nor is he returning my text messages. I wish I had done my due diligence before using Extreme Plumbing's services. It's unfortunate you have untrustworthy people still providing services to the general public. My wife and I have learned a relatively inexpensive lesson. I think if he would have changed out the flushing mechanism he could have caused a lot more issues to try to get more money out of us based on the dishonest way he was trying to get me to replace the pressure valve that I didn't need.

Dan was professional and prompt. He came over within 15 minutes of my call. His quote was hundreds of dollars less than other plumbers. Our shower faucet wasn't working properly and he gave us the option of repairing or replacing. He was very neat, even cleaned up after himself. I felt he was honest and didn't try to gouge us. Highly recommended.

5 stars for dealing with the July heat for several hours on my roof trying to get out a years old calcified toy stuck in the main sewer line. When it came time to figure out the bill for several unplanned hours, it was structured in a reasonable way. It was full price but this house was taken care of by an insistent do-it-yourself'er who would rather snake his home from the roof vent renting equipment rather than calling an actual professional to camera the line. Glad to have that mystery solved.
