Robert came out on a Sunday to do an emergency repair. He turned up on time and did a great job and was a pleasure to deal with. What more can you ask!

Robert is very responsive and was able to replace our water heater on a Sunday. He explained the breakdown of the cost to me on the phone and followed up with a nicely detailed text message. He was able to come to our house on pretty short notice, and kept me well informed on his arrival time via text messages (had a previous appointment and worked us into his schedule).
I will recommend this company to my friends and neighbors. In my area, we use the NextDoor.com website to exchange tips with our neighbors. Nice to see that other families also have had good experience with Express Water Heaters.

We decided it was time to replace our 13-year-old water heater. We felt it was better to be preemptive rather than wait for the inevitable. We ended up going with Robert at Express Water Heaters. Of the three places we called, he was the least expensive.
Robert scheduled us for the day after we called. He and his helper were spot on time. He installed a Bradford White water heater. It's super energy efficient and the water in our 75-gallon tank was hot within 45 minutes of it being filled and turned on!
We also had him replace the recirculation pump that had never worked since we moved into the house four years ago. Now we can get hot water almost immediately from each faucet in the house instead of having to run it and wait for it to get hot. Not wasting water is a good thing during a drought.
But here's the part every homeowner dreads. Robert checked our pressure regulator and it wasn't working. It regulates the water coming from the street into the house so that it doesn't come in with too much pressure. Apparently, if your pressure regulator isn't working and the water comes in too fast it can damage your pipes.
My husband, who knows more about these things than me, looked at the regulator and the testing method to make sure that this was legit. It was. So the bad news was that replacing the pressure regulator added more money to the bill, but the good news was that we averted another potential disaster.
When they left, you couldn't even tell they'd been here. Everything was cleaned up nicely. We felt confident with Robert. He knows his stuff. Plus, he was less than the other two places we checked and he was very pleasant.
Our new water heater has a 6-year warranty. We hope it lasts as long as our old water heater did, but when we need to have it replaced we'll be calling Robert again. A quality job at a fair price. That's hard to come by these days.

I called and talked to Robert about my water heater that's on the fritz. Robert told me they don't work on this specific model (it is an odd one) and pointed me in the right direction.
I wanted to write this feedback to point out that dishonest plumbers do not refer business elsewhere like Robert did. It was obvious to me from the phone conversation that this shop is A+. I *will* be calling them back if anything else needs fixing.

Very pleased with their service. I need a new water heater the same day and they were able to deliver with a water heater that met our needs and configuration. They even threw in a free drip pan with tube routing any collected water away from the water heater room.

Fantastic service, wouldn't hesitate to use them again for any plumbing related service. Found them on Yelp along with getting a referral from another plumbing service. Had a water heater go out and needed a replacement ASAP.
This was my first service call to this company and you never really know what your going to get, but upon meeting Robert and his partner, I was relieved at their level of interest in doing a great job and keeping me satisfied. They were very accommodating of scheduling me even though they already had a full day. When they came to do the work it was not rushed and I felt like they treated me as if I was their first client of the day.
The last thing that I was really impressed with was the workmanship and competitive pricing. I'm quite particular with contractors that clean up after the job and take pride in the equipment and installation... Definitely 5 stars on quality workmanship and friendliness. They took all the time to answer my questions even though it was way past working time.
Thanks guys for great work. I don't want any plumbing problems, but if I do you're my first call.

Robert ""The Boss"" and Neil from Express Water Heaters & Plumbing came to my home. They came the same day that I called them and after assessing my leaking water heater, advised it needed to be replaced. Robert took the time to explain in depth what the issue was and the cost to repair. Robert additionally explained what had caused the issue (Faulty water pressure regulator). Robert was very honest and both he and Neil were very professional. I will recomend them for all my friends plumbing needs in the future!!

I called around 11:00 and Robert and crew arrived by 2:00 with a new water heater. Robert was courteous and concise on the phone. They replaced my leaking water heater in about 2 hours. They charged me a little extra to move my washer but overall didn't nickel and dime me. Overall I am pleased with the service.

VERY pleased with the service :) My hot water service went out this week, and I had Robert ('the Boss') and Neil from Express Water Heaters & Plumbing come to my home. They came the same day that I called them, and after assessing it Robert took the time to explain in depth what the issue was and the cost to repair, and educated me to my options. I opted for a replacement rather than repair as my old system was out of warranty. He was able to have the new system ordered, delivered and installed the very next morning.
I also had issues with my 3 toilets (all of which leaked) and the kitchen tap which thumped when the hot water was on. A previous plumber had told me I needed a replacement kitchen tap because a part inside it had worn out. I had purchased a new one from Home Depot and asked Robert to install it for me while he was here, and take a look at the toilets. He fixed all three toilets on the first day he was here, and after taking a look at the tap found the issue was a valve allowing air in, made some adjustments and fixed the issue in seconds (at no charge). I just saved myself $200 on the tap replacement which I am taking back to Home Depot for a refund!!!
On the second day while installing my water heater my cat got out (not to do with him). But I was outside looking for her, and Robert and Neil offered to help me and once they had finished the job they walked around the block looking for her. If that is not great service I don't know what is!!
Also Robert offered me the ability to pay via credit card through PayPal without charging additional fees which I was really pleased with, as you don't always get this service these days. He also gave me the $25 off Yelp offer on both days he was here, so I saved another $50.
They were very friendly, personable, knowledgeable, efficient and helpful and the service really was outstanding. I highly recommend them and will certainly use them again for any of my future plumbing needs, very very happy :)

This man was rude, angry, and unhelpful. I am not sure why he is even in business. When I called my husband and he spoke with my husband he created a softer, nicer tone. But he acted as if he didn't like women and was angry to even be doing our installation. I would never use this man ever again based on the way he treated me as a customer. I bought 3 toilets from Pacific Sales, but I will buy nothing from them again if he is the installer because I would never allow him into our home to install anything.
