Our toilet clogged and overflowed. I called Express-Rooter and they were very friendly and responsive, giving us a same-day appointment at a time that worked for us since we were working from home.
This was during COVID-19 social distancing. The plumber, Angel, followed proper social distancing and hygiene procedures. He then quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it right away (calcium build-up clogging the pipe). He ran to get some acid and came back right away. Hopefully this will fix the problem so we can avoid having to buy a whole new toilet.
He explained follow-up procedures clearly. Costs were reasonable and the owner, Burt, even offered us a 10% discount. I would definitely recommend this company and would call them again if plumbing problems emerge in the future.

Juan came out and helped with an emergency toilet stoppage today. He was on time, friendly, and knowledgeable. He fixed the problem and another one and did it all for a reasonable and fair price. Like previous posters, I've used other plumbers in town with mixed results. But these guys are the best!

Our home in Carpinteria is a tad on the older side, year after year a new problem comes along and plumbing seems to be front and center!
Over the years we've had plumbers from different companies, family friends - from everywhere and still the problems persist. Desperately, we decided to give a new company we've never dealt with a call.
My goodness we should have called Express Rooter sooner! We called them and same day within 2 hours were there! We called for one issue with the washing machine, Juan and his partner were knowledgeable and helpful.
Very next day, on a Sunday our shower wouldn't turn off! Called them to come asap, they were there within 30 minutes! Not only resolved the issue but let us know how work was guaranteed. Problem with the shower came up again on Wednesday, Sarah answered and sent the same guy (wish I got his name, he is amazing!) with the parts within 15 minutes! Her customer service is above what I expected, we are so so happy with these guys! We are only left with regret not knowing about them years ago.
We've had companies in and out of here and say they'll be there in a couple of days because they are, ""booked"" yet these guys are all over the place and still manage to get the done within minutes!
They are honest, professional, hard-working, knowledgeable and have integrity.

Juan came out, he showed up on time and found that a previous plumber had shut off our valve to the ice maker and had not turned it back on. So he turned it on and got the water returning to our ice maker. His price was reasonsble, and he was very professional. I highly recommend him.

Juan is a terrific representative for Express-Rooter. He greeted me with a big smile and hearty handshake on first arrival. After showing him what the problem was he spent 15 minutes evaluating the issue that required basement and first floor plumbing replacement/repair.
He was clear about what the problem was and what it would take to fix it. We quickly agreed on a path forward and over a couple of days everything was back to normal. The drain line for our connected pair of Master Bathroom sinks became clogged. The problem appeared early on a weekend, complicating the repair. We scheduled an appointment with Express-Rooter for the same day. Juan from Express-Rooter showed up on time and resolved our plugged drain piping in only 20 minutes.

Because the two sink drains are connected, unclogging the drain line was complicated. Juan made it look easy. (The same task by another company six years ago took more than 2 hours.) We were very impressed by the prompt, courteous, and effective performance by Juan and Express-Rooter. We highly recommend them.
