They are amazing. Responsive, professional, expert at their work, considerate of neighbors. They did the work quickly, we were not without water overnight, they stayed into the evening to get it done - and the job required opening up the street and replacing a water main! They arranged for a city inspector to come, supervised the inspection and received approval without any question. They cleaned everything up and left our basement spotless. When we had a very minor follow-up problem, they came within an hour and fixed it. They called, checked and verified that the minor problem was repaired to our satisfaction. I can't recommend them more highly. Their customer service personnel were excellent and the workers were terrific.

On November 9, 2018, services were rendered by Express Plumbing Sewer
& Water Main Corp to replace a faulty/worn wax gasket to remedy a leak
around the base of the toilet.

In 2019, Express Plumbing Sewer & Main water corp. came back out, at no cost, and replaced the leaky wax gasket once more.

On Friday, November 20, 2020, the toilet began to leak again in the same place. On Wednesday, November 25, 2020, once again, services were rendered by Express Plumbing Sewer & Water main to replace a wax gasket to repair the same issue.

Even though he denies it, when the plumber came to repair the leak on 11/20 he said that the wrong gasket was used.

I was charged twice for work that was never correctly done in the
first place.

I emailed the company and personally spoke to Ed, the supervisor about this issue. He firmly stood by the work that was done. He expressed that they would be taking a loss if they were to offer me a credit.

Don't use this plumber.

We have a brownstone on the Upper East Side. Have been there for 36 years. We saw water in the basement under the stoop above. We called NYC 311 and they immediately issued a 3-day letter requiring that our water main be replaced and all repaired in 3 days. The Insurance we had bought from AWR for just this event came into play. Thank God we had bought it.

The insurance company sent Express Plumbing. From the moment they arrived (within an hour of the call) to the minute they finished within the 3 days, they were incredible! They were professional, efficient, polite, clean, and got this big job done within a day. We cannot recommend them highly enough!!

During these trying times, just what anyone needs is a sewage problem. These guys were sent from my sewage line insurance company. With having been exposed a month prior as a first responder, I was told that contractors had the right to deny me service. I got a call right away from these guys! Not only did they step up but their customer service was top notch and the work was just as professional. A messy job but you wouldn't know they were there. Everything was cleaned up. We are in Queens. Had a leak that was part of water main, thus covered by the city insurance however, after calling the ins co, they told us to read the fine print and call 311 DEP. DEP said they would get back to us within 2 weeks. It was longer and we were anxious knowing there was a leak from outside and we could have a potential flood in the basement.
Yesterday morning waiting in my car for alt side parking, one of Express Plumbing dump trucks pulled up across the street from me. When I saw Water Main on the door, I flew across the street and spoke to one of the crew of 5. He told me to call the owner of Express and gave me the name and number. I called and Mike handled all for me after I told him the story. He sent the crew lead over to listen to the water line (with a microphone) and communicated with him separately from me. He responded to my texts then called the ins co and spoke with the supervisor, confirming there was a leak on side of water main.

Of course, it was an additional job and easier to finish it off after working across the street but Express was just great on every level. The crew was great. They work clean, and clean up, work to code-when they finish, you can't even believe there was a problem. They dug over 4' down taking turns digging even though they had heavy equipment, not possible to use it in our front yard. They worked in the rain, no complaints, were polite, never annoyed and extremely professional.

Even the city inspectors who come out when an emergency permit is filed said that they knew this business and crew and when they saw them, knew there would be no problem, always great work.

Again, they relieved our extreme anxiety over a potential huge problem and when I say clean-no one who saw the repair site afterwards can believe anything was done. I can't say enough about them...ultra professional....20 stars Highly recommended.

This company was one that was referred by insurance company to repair our water and sewer lines. How fortunate that we selected them to perform the work. Everyone from the office staff to Mike and the technicians made this difficult and stressful project an easy and rewarding process. The entire staff communicated constantly to let us know what was happening. They showed up on the days they said they would and on time. They worked in the bitter cold and on rainy days. Today they came and completed the work. There are no words to express our gratitude to Express Plumbing. We will not hesitate to refer them to friends and neighbors.

Yesterday, I hired this company. He charged extremely high that you cannot believe because he made use of your urgent mood and fished in troubled waters. He charged me a thousand dollar that just do one hour. So crazy! So greedy! Never hire this company again!
