Recommended Customer Reviews

The guy who came out to check the heaters for all four apartments was great - Mark. He is super knowledgeable and explains everything. BUT the company customer service is LOUSY. They do not return calls. I called many times for the first visit and no one ever returned a call. I finally got someone the morning of the visit. Now there is a second time we are forced to use this company by our apartment warranty service company. I have called for 3 days to change a schedule that they arbitrarily picked and no one ever returned a call. NOW the day is more than half over and I have no idea when or if the heater tech is going to show up. And no way to get ahold of anyone. I HIGHLY discourage you from using this company. PS I finally got someone on the phone at or after 4 pm who said they never had an appointment with us. But again no one returned a call. I had to keep calling to finally get someone (called 10 times in one day).
Answer your reply: No I am not confusing your company. I got the name wrong for the technician and it has been corrected. AND NOW one week after Mark said the heater should be condemned still no report to the warranty company so we can move forward. When I called yesterday, Rebecca said she had no notes at all. The warranty company said they are waiting on your company to submit the report/estimate. We are left hanging with no heater. We pay you to help us not leave us hanging.

This company needs to take a business management course. This is probably one of the most unprofessional companies that I have dealt with in the past 10 years. They really need to get it together. I have done some plumbing in the past. We got a leak under my kitchen sink, when I assessed it I noticed it was leaking from the garbage disposal, as well as the sink faucet. I tried to shut the power off on the two valves under the sink, but the cold water valve was broken so that needed to be replaced as well. When I called the company and told them what was going on, they said they needed to come out and diagnose it first. So they did, they came out and inspected it and it needed everything i said. They didn't have any of this particular garbage disposals on hand, also, the faucet was discontinued so they couldn't get parts to repair it. They needed to install a new faucet as well. At that point, you would think that they would at least change the cold water valve for me, but they did not. So they only way to stop the leak was to shut it off at the main valve in my garage. I have 5 children so I can not just turn the water on and off everything the need to use the restroom, wash their hands, take showers, do a load of laundry etc.... So they ordered the parts and put me on the calendar for an appointment the following week so I took another day off work to meet the technician here and then I get a call during the 4 hour window time from the technician, not even the business office. He stated that they did not receive the parts yet so he could not do the job. I called in at this point and let them know to please make sure that they have all the parts in stock before they call me and set another appointment because I missed out on two full days of work now. The lady that I was speaking to Rachelle said they should be in in a day or two and sorry for the inconvenience. Four days past and I have not received a call and I still have this leak under my sink at that point. I called back in Rochelle said sorry I didn't get a call back. They did receive the parts and put me on the schedule for Thursday. This was a Monday when I called in. Thursday comes around and my window of time was from 9 AM to 2 PM. I called at about 1030 to see if I can get a more specific ETA. Rachelle said he should be there closer to 1 PM at the later end of the window because he had a short job before me, and he was in a meeting. I get a call at 1 o'clock from the technician and once again, he stated that the parts were not in I called back and was being very politely, but also firm trying to get my point across that this was very important and that it's been leaking for three weeks and I'm constantly having to dry it up as well as it wasting a lot of water and money. I asked at this point if they can at least come repair the cold water valve under my sink to stop this leak since I was on the calendar for the day. At this point she seemed annoyed and just started giving me a very nasty tone and being very rude. I was explaining to her that it was unprofessional and that this is the second time that they did not have the parts and they should've never put me on the calendar without having the parts in and that I'm taking off of work each time and nothings getting resolved. I am currently renting this house so when I noticed a leak I called the landlord and they had to use their property management insurance to fund this repair. The garbage disposal is over $300 and the style of faucet is a couple hundred dollars as well so the landlord does not want me to purchase it and install it myself, he would rather pay the $100 deductible obviously and outsource it through this company. So I'm sitting here stuck for almost a month now with a leak that this company could not fix. Also, when i was speaking with Rochelle and explaining my wife was having to take dishes to the bathtub to clean she's said you need to have patience and if you don't have and call the insurance company back and request another vendor. So this secretary is not trying to be helpful or compassionate at all whatsoever, and is probably turning other customers away as well and losing the owner business. I do not think she has any business being in customer service with an attitude like this.

Do not use this plumbing service. Their plumbers. I.e. John didn't snake through all 4 units in our condo tower resulting in backing up my sink and displaced for 5 days in a hotel while drying! All because John didn't follow multilevel protocol. Stay away

Absolutely horrible. They were contracted through Old Republic. Called a day in advance to reschedule for the following day and then never showed up. Then tried to reschedule two weeks later. Tried calling them several times and always goes to voice mail.

If your home warranty assigns this company to you, do yourself a favor and request a new company right away. First appointment couldn't be booked for 2 weeks - fine, we waited. They called two hours into the appointment window to cancel and reschedule for the next week. Fine, waited another week.
Tech shows up the next week, blazes through the two items (guess that's where they get the 'express' part of their name). He has to order a special cartridge for the faucet and 'fixed' our leaking toilet by making it leak faster. Thanks, dude! Now it's unusable - you can literally watch the water drain right out of it - and they said they're going to rush order the part to fix it properly, but we have to wait another week for it to get here. (Amazon somehow works faster than wherever they order their parts.)
Appointment rolls around, and they're canceling the appointment and want to rebook it for another 2 weeks from now because they don't have the cartridge for the faucet and don't care that we can't use our master bath toilet. ""Is it the only toilet in the house?"" Rochelle says. ""I'm sorry, but he's not coming out there just to fix one thing"" -- that he made 20 times worse, by the way.
tdlr don't waste your time dealing with them.

These people are crooks. Three service calls and only once went on my roof. Told me on first call they could come and clean my swamp cooler for $70 to $80 off book. Gave me his personal phone # to text him when I bought the parts. But my home warranty is responsible for repairs and pay extra for comprehensive coverage. Plummer told home warranty they could not fix because needed maintenance. Our contract indicates full coverage, but plumbers don't want to go on roof in 107 degree day so any excuse will be created by this plumber. This plumber live nearby and frequently offers customers of express and home warranty company, a cheaper alternative. Plus it's the only way the heating cooling plumber guy will fix it. He told me he would do it off book at night and weekends. It's too hot to even go one the roof. But I've been waiting weeks for you to show. He said company won't pay for cleaning. Nobody has ever mentioned cleaning in 3 service calls, but suddenly, swamp cooler needs cleaning. Home warranty Fidelity Home Warrantee company NOW said, after two months, that they do not cover cleaning and I would have to pay. So, after 2 months, 3 service calls, promises to fix ""On The Side"" and never returned my multiple text to complete the work. So, the plumber gets paid, the warranty company get paid, we do all the paying, and nothing your contract is covered, unless you hire him off duty. So, home warranty company doesn't want to pay, plumber wants pay, plumber makes money all day making up excuses so he can be hired off book and make even more money. The home warranty company is useless without such criminal minds wanting to make money when it's hot, but never actually doing any work, just charging you for plumber to drive around in air conditioned car making up stuff so he doesn't have to sweat. Only, this time they did it to seniors, compromised by Covid, with a well maintained home, and threading my life as well as my wife's critical health issues and needs to have house cooler than 95 to 100 degrees. This has been going on for three months. Neither the plumber or warranty company feel the need to do what they are paid for.
Plumbers are the key to making money for nothing during the biggest heat wave in history.
How do these people live with themselves? Really? The owner doesn't care what somebody is doing in his company almost 100 miles away? A San Diego to Hemet drive is not good so owner just goes with the flow, he makes money from me. He makes money from his crooks driving around in his car with a ladder strapped to the roof just so the can go on roof and lie, so they can be comfortable in the air conditioning car making money. So, this company makes money by hiring criminals to make money for nothing during summer. So, result is, express plumbing heating and air are crooks, hired by fidelity home warrentee, to com up with excuses to make customer pay more and get even less work. Never trust a heating and air guy that pulls up in a Japanese compact car with a ladder strapped to the roof. So funny, second service call he was scheduled to repair, but came to my house without his ladder strapped to his car. He said some Mumbo jumbo and said he'll be back to fix it soon as they approve work order. So I called company and they said plumber said I need to do maintenance before they can fix it. Are you getting the idea? Ya, both heating cooling specialist and home warranty folks are complicate with the other to make money while it's too hot to actually work. So do we just trust them when weather is good? Hell no. Dentist and plumbers are the biggest crooks on the planet, next to politicians. If either of these companies are in charge of keeping you comfortable during a heat wave. You are out of luck. Do not use this company.

UPDATE! My plumbing issues were fixed same day. Warranty company sent out a new tech and agreed that the plumber and dispatcher (Rochelle)from express plumbing lied on the report. Sucks when you own a home and expect people to be honest and do a good job and they give you shitty customer service.

I highly recommend Express Plumbing Heating and Air. My name is Ron and I live in Yorba Linda. Mark the technician who came to my home was prompt, courteous and more than that was patient and determined to find and successfully solve the extra problem that I had. I was grateful to have someone determined to solve my problem.

Our home warranty is Old Republic. Definitely not a five-star service! However their referral for AC unit was Express Plumbing. They are absolutely five star! 5 minutes after referral received a call with an appointment for the following morning. Given time window. Service man called in the middle of the window with a 20 minute eta. Arrived in 21 minutes! Found the problem fix the problem no must no fuss no upgrade, unnecessary parts, debris, issues. Just great efficient service! Thank you Ryan!

This company was assigned by my home warranty company to diagnose a low water pressure issue we've been having. A plumber came out twice but couldn't figure out the issue, and kept wanting to blame the water softener as the issue even when the flow of water was completely bypassed from the machine and the pressure issue remained. This company just came across as being ill prepared, and we ended up having to hire another company when they gave up. Nice guy, but I ultimately just want the issue resolved when I call a professional for help.
