Through my home warranty I had a plumber come out for a kitchen sink stoppage. He first tried to snake the drain but was unsuccessful. Then said he tried to get the cap off the clean out which is under the sink. He was unable to open the cap, telling me it is rusted shut and would need to reverse the cap and and place on the outside, which i will say I guess is where it should have been built in the first place.

I had a handy man tell me to get a piece of pvc that would fit over the cap to give some extension which allowed me to get torque on the cap and easily open the cap which was not rusted at all. I guess they make a tool for this but since I am not a plumber the pvc was a much cheaper version.

After opening the cap i decided to contact my home warranty to have the plumber clean the drain since I had already paid for the warranty service. Well the plumber then said he would not respond to work under the sink because there is not enough room and would need to still reverse the cap to the clean out which would cost me $550. I guess he also told the warranty people the drain is not a 2 way drain and needed to be fixed.

So my question to the warranty company was why did this guy tell me it was rusted shut, and second if there was not enough room for him to access the cap and if he would not snake the drain through that cap why would he have even tried to open it.

A second plumber responded. Accessed the clean out through that cap and now after 6 days I have a working kitchen sink no thanks to this crap company, may not be all the plumbers there but the one that responded to my service call. What it felt like to me is he was trying to get a bigger paying job, and when we were able to get the cap off it was not worth it to him.

If I am wrong someone please explain how and why. And i will gladly change my review.

Our water heater died after 22 years and our home warranty company connected us with Express Plumbing, Heating and Air. James V. came out and confirmed we needed a new water heater. James was great to work with and did excellent work on the replacement!

Since my last review managers at this company have been sending me cruel and harassing messages on Yelp. I gave a negative yet honest review, purely commenting on the lack of quality work, however these managers are making it personal, calling me crude names and saying none of my loved ones can stand me! It's completely unprofessional.

The plumber who came to my home is David (on 2/11/2020). I had a kitchen sink issue. I recognize there are some things out of the control of the plumber; so, appreciated his contacting me and reassuring he would show up. Although he was late due to how his scheduling, but when he showed up David was knowledgeable, kind and polite. He was personable. I have not had any issues with the job. I am only giving 4 stars because I called the office before the end of business prior to David calling. The office did not return my call; nor is there a 24 hour number to address customers when plumber hasn't arrived.

If this is the one on Treena St. ? Do you have a David? David came out very punctual, but his attitude was not very professional. He seemed like he did not want to do the work. He would not crawl under the house to check for a leak or to give me an estimate. This is the 2nd time I got someone who did not seem interested in doing the job.

I'm in Lake Forest, CA and Tyler Newman was as professional and polite as anyone could be! I highly recommend Tyler and Express Plumbing and Heating!! If you have Tyler as your plumber, you're lucky! Thank you for all your help!

This company is absolutely incompetent. If they are dispatched to you by a home warranty company, I would suggest you request a different someone else. If you are paying directly out of pocket, I would run the other way. They are disorganized, incapable of scheduling accurately and struggle to complete jobs due to this disorganization. I have been trying to get a toilet fixed by them since early December. They have cancelled on me twice, misdirected their plumbers twice causing me multiple days of missed work without having the problems resolved. A company this dysfunctional should not be in business.

H-O-R-R-I-FI-C!!!!! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I waited 5 days for an appointment ... waited 3 1/2 hours of the 4 hour window they schedule (took off work to be there) 30 mins left in window I finally called office to see where the ""plumber"" was ... they said he was still at his first job of the day and wouldn't be coming. Seriously??? Who does that? Unprofessional, office hung up on me. Wanted me to reschedule and wait another week! They should get out of the business ... no customer service, apology, empathy ... I can only hope Karma and this review will HELP other people not get screwed. Horrific!!!! One star is two too many!

I had a really bad experience. The Plumber is suppose to fix two things, the toilet in the Master's bathroom and the faucet in the powder room. He said there's nothing wrong with the toilet just a little leftover water from the bowl that drips after flushing. But, the other toilets does not have that problem.

It took two weeks before the plumber submitted the report to FNHW. Normally the technician usually submit their report to FNHW within a day or two. This guy took two weeks before submitting a report and it took about 10 phone calls from me to FNHW and Express Plumbing. After two weeks we finally schedule to have it done on the morning of 12/24. I was so hoping that it can be fixed before Christmas. Then the plumber called at 8 am that he doesn't have the part because the supply store is closed. So of course it has to be rescheduled.

The office person is also very rude. Not sympathetic at all. She will just tell you I don't know why the technician did not submit the report or I don't know why the technician did not pick up the part the day before (not in a nice way).
I'm giving it two star because the sink in the powder room is finally fixed.
The toilet still has that drip sound after flushing.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL

Gustavo came out to repair a bad shower control and he was able to fix it in a few minutes.
ThIs is the second time they've come for repairs and both times, his work was outstanding. First it was a dishwasher repair and this time, the shower.
Amy is easy to talk with and was quick to schedule my appointment. This company is A+ and I hope to use them again if needed.
