I had called my home warranty company for a replacement on my garbage disposal and they sent out a technician named a Neil from Express. He showed up in a shirt that was very wrinkled and full of pet hair. He looked very unprofessional. I do have to say he did give me a piece advice regarding my home warranty company that I wasn't aware of. He said I could take the cash payment and go buy a top of the line garbage disposal and do the work ourselves or just stay with the lower end garbage disposal. I did appreciate the information but since my husband isn't very handy, the cash option wasn't a going work very well for us. He also had given me his life story in the 15 minutes he was here from stories regarding his teenagers and about how his 1st wife had died in a auto accident and he received a large amount of money and he had purchased 400 acres in Temecula. I understand that might be small talk but I wasn't expecting that at all. Neil did replace the garbage disposal just fine but that's why I only gave them 3 stars.

My home warranty company sent Express Plumbing to fix a problem with my refrigerator water line. My tech, Victor, was very nice and explained the situation clearly to me. I am extremely unhappy with my home warranty company (Fidelity) because they seem to avoid fixing/replacing anything and are slow and unaccommodating when it comes to scheduling. Express Plumbing was quite different. Due to Fidelity's error, my tech was misinformed about the problem. He was unable to fix it because it required a new part, but he did confirm the diagnosis and was available to come back the next day. He went above and beyond to contact Fidelity and clear up their error, he ensured that Fidelity (NOT ME) would pay for the service due to their error, and then he called his dispatcher and found a way to squeeze me in for the next day--it had taken Fidelity over a month to get me an appointment so I really appreciated his sense of urgency! When he returned he fixed the problem in about 20 minutes.

My home warranty company sent express to my house. The tech had a old dumpy personal truck, no uniform, would not take his shoes off had no idea what he was doing. After a huge run around I was able to drill down with the help my warranty company and figure out express was trying to scam me for over $700 I had a second option at my own expense come out and confirm Express conclusion fixing my A/C unit was incorrect. Katy the office manager would not return my calls and hung up on me. The warranty company said they would use Express again. Total scam job !!!

Avoid !! You can do better.

I had been experiencing a leak in my A/C system coming from the ceiling. Ryan was the technician sent over to diagnose the problem- my system is quite old, but Ryan was able to find a solution and went above and beyond to make sure that he didn't have to leave me stranded in this hot weather. He is courteous and positive, and does his very best to get your equipment in good working order. THanks so much, Ryan, for your professionalism, and diligence! A + !

The four stars are for Joseph G the installation tech - this was a home warranty issued provider, I called was scheduled for water heater breakdown ~ in these cases diligence is key ~ it took several calls to lock the appt ~ first tech that showed up confirmed I would need a new water heater, advised it would be at least 2 days before approval, he would call it in. I called home warranty myself later same day to check on delay - they had not heard from Express Plumbing, I called the tech directly, said he was working on it ~ I called him out saying I had called home warranty and they advised no call from Express Plumbing- said he would call back, did not happen. Next morning I received email from home warranty approved. Called Express Plumbing office, lady said at least 2-3 days to install, I said no it will be today, first tech had advised it could be done... Said they would call back again, I called back again and asked for my appt today and would hold for confirmation.. Pushing was key, they had Joseph G at my home within 2 hours - he was courteous, pleasant and immediately got to work. Measured took note of what was needed went out got the water heater ~ he installed the water heater went above and beyond was conscientious about the water spillage and once all was in place walked me through key functions of operation. The end result in spite of the office issues, job well done.. It is the people that care that make the business!

On 5/13/14, technician Ryan came to fix problem with my HVAC. He was excellent and besides fixing the original issue of AC not starting, he helped me understand few other stuff like thermostat and the 2nd HVAC system. He fixed couple of small issues like thermostat power cable was not connected, and one thermostat had wrong color wires going to wrong areas in the HVAC.

He was very patient with me as I asked him lot of questions. He did all this without charging me any more bucks than the usual home warranty deduction. Since I am a first time home owner, this kind of awesome service helps me.

In my experience Joseph is an unusual and stellar plumber. He was prompt, clean, reasonable and ethical. He went way beyond what I have ever seen any other plumber do. If all the plumbers that Express Plumbing hires are like Joseph this is by far the best plumbing company I have used.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! My home warranty sent Edgar from express plumbing to come out and take a look at our washer. He was SO rude talked my ear off for 30 minutes, literally did not even work on the problem and then expected me to pay him. What he was saying did not make any sense, after he talked to me for 30 minutes he told me that the problem probably fixed itself. I ran a load of laundry and sure enough nothing was fixed the problem continued to persist! Such a waste of time.

When I called Express Plumbing to explain the situation the lady there told me ""yeah he comes off kinda rude, but it's just his personality"" Who says that? It was such a waste of my time and energy and I would not recommend this company to any one who needs professional plumbing service.

Waited 6 1/2 hours for them to show up, they were only 2.5 hours late from the original time block given to me. No big deal right? The only reason why I am sooooo pissed off was that they could not give me a f-ing phone call to let me know they were running late. I get that projects can go longer than expected and that people can get behind but for Christ's sake be a little considerate and call the customers to let them know. Had they called me I would not be writing this review. My whole day today was wasted and to top it off they did not fix the problem. I had asked for them to wait to make sure it was fixed and was told "" don't worry it will be fine"" I waited 6 and half hours and you're telling me you can't wait 15 minutes to make sure the problem is fixed? That is my fault because I folded and said ok. Thanks yelp for letting me vent, send me the bill for the therapy.

My repair as many others was also done through home warranty company. I must admit after reading some of the reviews I was a bit concerned. I went ahead and made an appointment for them to come out between 8:00 and 12:00 on Wednesday morning. I was fully expecting them not to arrive until 11:55 as usual with four hour windows. Much to my surprise they showed up at about 9:00. Silvano showed up with a helper, who I'm guessing was his son or a trainee. Anyway Silvano was extremely courteous professional and listen to my concerns. I told him what I thought the problem was, he explained to me that it could not be that since that was not a possible issue. The problem he diagnosed was simple and he fixed it very quickly. He and his helper were in and out in about 30 minutes and the problem was resolved. Based on my experience I would highly recommend Express Plumbing to anybody who needs a plumbing repair.
