Express Plumbing (EPS) replaced my sewer lateral. All of their people from John Karam, the estimator, to the installation crew were very professional. The materials and installation were also first rate. The city inspector had no complaint and approved the work. Additional cleanouts were requested and provided.

The price was very competitive and the work was done quickly.

We needed an inspection and quote on a sewer lateral repair and replace. Express Plumbing got out to the job site and quickly turned around a quote for us. They are responsive and do what they say. The office manager Kimberly is really a gem, so knowledgeable and professional. Nowadays you don't often find someone answering a business phone who really knows their stuff and how to be professional, considerate, and efficient.

I would definitely go to Express Plumbing for any future plumbing work.

This summer I had high hopes for Express for doing a trenchless sewer lateral replacement. A few days before the job was supposed to begin, they called to say that PG&E called them to say that the job couldn't be done trenchless because it was too close to a gas line. They offered to do the job the traditional nontrenchless way--but wanted to charge more than double the original contract price. I canceled the job. And I called PG&E. They had no record of any communication with Express. This was after Express spent most of the deposit on a worthless permit and ambiguous office time. They did give a partial refund promptly, but they kept $127 for office work? They said they could do the job. Then they said they couldn't. Paying for a permit is one thing, but why should I have to pay for their time filing and making calls when they misjudged the job?

Best experience ever! These guys saved my bacon. I had a gas leak in the wall and they were here immediately. Quality work at a VERY reasonable price. The tech, Brandon Bell, was well groomed, courteous, and totally professional. He did exactly as promised for the agreed price. No surprises!!

Top performers in every way. I needed my entire lateral sewer line replaced and Express Plumbing Services (EPS) was one of a few firms that I received price proposals from. I chose EPS because their written work proposal was very detailed, covering every aspect of the job, and their price proposal very competitive. Additionally, I had watched them work in my neighborhood a few months ago repairing the city's main sewer lines. At that time they impressed me as a company that worked quickly, to professional standards, and did a nice job of closing up openings.

Joe, the estimator and project manager was quick to understand the scope of work needed, and the important details than needed attending to. He oversaw the project from start to finish, and even did a follow-up after the project was finished, just to make sure that I was pleased with the work.

Ivan and Alberto were the two guys who did the actual work. They were assisted at times, but these two guys worked hard to do the actual work and to also make sure that I was informed of the work they were doing and how the entire project would come together. Additionally, they were very pleasant to work with, and - like Joe - asked from time-to-time if I had any questions and if I was pleased with the work. The last day Alberto even asked if I wanted to go under the house (crawl space) to see what they had done to tie all the drain lines to the new 4 inch lateral line. I did, of course.

One important point.... a previous plumbing contractor had done some exploratory work, excavating around the 4 inch vertical section of cast iron pipe to assess its integrity. In the process they broke through the decaying pipe, thus allowing some grey water to flow into the hole they had excavated, and they didn't tell me they had done so. This created a potential health issue, and Ivan and Alberto handled it with good humor and great professionalism. They cleaned up the mess created by the previous firm, and Joe had factored that part of the job in his proposal. Well done!

I can't recommend Express Plumbing highly enough. I had them replace our lateral waste line in August 2020. Of the 3 estimates we received, their's was by far the lowest. Javier (the Foreman) had his team complete the work according to schedule and did a great job. I spoke with the Operations Manager, Joe, who had warned me that roots had entered an old section of the pipe that was not included in the original bid. Joe sent out a team to snake the line that day (free of charge) but when we couldn't clear that section with the snake, Joe had his team replace the section of pipe for free because he didn't want us to have any more problems with it.  Joe, Javier, and Express Plumbing saved me thousands of dollars -- and a lot of headache.
