I should have read the reviews before having them come out. The same thing happened to me yesterday. A worker came out and said snaking would not solve my problem for my clogged drain. He tried to negotiate a deal with cash to fix the problem. He said maybe a disposer trick would work, if so no charge. It didn't work and water was leaking now under my sink. Went to the sewer main, issue was determined to be clogged pipe. He said snaking wouldn't resolve the issue, only hydro-jet. Quoted me 250.00. Felt pressure as I was only expecting to pay $65 for snaking. He struck a deal with me, the charge would be 165.00 the breakdown was $65 check on paper and $100 cash off the books. Feeling I had no other options I took the deal. After reading these reviews I placed a call into the main office. Was told someone would get back to me on Monday. I'll see transpires. Stay tuned.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

Completely incompetent and unprofessional. I called them to fix a blocked kitchen sink in my condo. A guy came out, poked around for an hour and claimed that he couldn't fix it. Said the issue was so far down the stack pipe that I would have to hydro-jet the drain (surprise, it's more expensive!) or cut a giant hole in my wall. They still charged me $135 for wasting my time and theirs.

I called my HOA who had their plumber come out. He was able to fix the problem in 10 mins and charged us only $57.

When I called Express, it took me over a week to get a hold of someone after speaking to a guy and girl on the phone who took down my story and promised a manager would call me back. They never did. When I finally cornered Omar, he got frustrated and said he already spoke to me and gave me a 50% discount. A 50% discount for some guy to NOT fix an easy problem and then try and upsell us on more expensive solutions??

I don't care if your technician had to come out. If they don't even know how to operate a snake, they don't deserve to be paid.

I'll be disputing the charge with Amex.

Update: Called Amex to dispute the issue and they agreed it didn't sound right. They refunded me the cost immediately. There are lots of business' out there with 4-5 star ratings that pride themselves with integrity and good service. Please support one of those.

The technician, Harry was a very pleasant fellow, He should be. after all he was going to take me for $1250.00. I called to clear a sewer blockage, they arrived on time. Harry couldn't clear the drain with his snake and wanted to use the super ""hydro-jet"". The on-line ad claimed the snake would be $65, Harry wanted $135. I got his boss, Omar to agree to honor the $65 price. But since the snake didn't work, we need to use the hydro-jet. for $1250. I called Kerrygold Plumbing to check the price and found that their price was $750 if the hydro jet is required at all. The Kerrygold team showed up and had the drainline cleared in 10 minutes, no super ""hypo-jet"" needed. What a joke! Omar even had the audacity to ask me if he could ""match their price"". I am sure that had I allowed him to do that there would have been another issue that would cost more money. They have no idea what Karma is.

These guys are complete rip off artists. DONT USE THEM. They totally overbilled for the job and did a poor job. When I refused to pay them any more, they grafettied my gate and came over with a so called 'inspector' to try to shake me down for more money. They left the gas on and almost killed me.

I'm not in the habit of leaving negative reviews because I don't want to interfere with the ability of someone to earn a living. But the way they tried to gouge me was horrible, and left me feeling like I'd been taken. Thankfully, I stopped the work.

I originally agreed to have them repair a section of pipe underground for the price of $4500. This seemed high at the time, but the way they described the labor it sounded fairly intensive. After they spent 60-90 minutes digging a hole to expose the pipe they determined the damage was so severe that the entire line of pipe leading from my house to the street would need to be replaced. And they said it would cost at around $26,000! That is not a typo! $26,000!

I immediately halted the work and decided to get several other estimates, none of which came within a mile of their price. Not only that, but Express said the pipe was 8 feet below the surface, which would mean a lot of digging. It was less than 5 feet. And the entire pipe didn't need replacing. Not even close.

I feel like an idiot for not doing more research, but I ended up having the repairs done by a different plumber for a fraction of what they were asking. I consider myself lucky, but be warned about getting overcharged by Express.

My garbage disposal died so I bought a new one at Home Depot. Next, I called Express who scheduled Alex to come out on a Saturday morning. He showed up about 30 min late - not a problem. We agreed on a price to install the new disposal. He was done in about 30 minutes and everything is working fine. I didn't give 5 stars because on an hourly basis, I could have hired a top notch lawyer, but everybody has to make a living.

Thought I wrote a review from my phone but guess that doesn't show here. Anyhow, needed to find a commercial plumber for my business so I did some research...ended up going to their location to discuss my needs and pricing. Jose was very professional and explained the whole process and all the payments. Set up an appointment and they came and did what I needed. Everything went great and I highly recommend them!

They came when they said they would( three hours after I called them on a Sunday) and fixed my clogged disposal.They gave me tips on how not to clog it again, suggested I replace it( but didn't pressure me to have him do the work) and left it cleaner than before they got there. Not sure what all the bad reviews are about but I'd call these guys again in a heartbeat.

VERY UNHAPPY!!! I had them come and snake my kitchen drain. The tech was prompt and very nice. Them problem is I received a 30 day warranty. Last night at 8:00 pm again the sink backed up. I called and was told I was past my warrant and would have to pay the $69.00 fee plus an addition $75.00 after hours expedite fee. I was 2 weeks past my warranty. REALLY!!! Very BAD customer relations!!

Biggest rip off artists ever. Called for clogged kitchen sink drain. He never rant he sink water, didn't ask about toilets backing up, just starting roooting from the cleanout to the street. then said i needed a camera. then the camera guy said i needed a spot repair for $3800. They never checked the small length of pipe running from the sink. TOTAL IDIOTS. And I don't do bad reviews lightly.
