My furnace would turn on for only about ten mins at a time then it would shut off until I rebooted the switch again. I think it wasn't talking to my new Nest system very well. Called Humphrey's and they came out same day and took care of me and figured out the issue. It's good to find a good honest company nearby to my house in Bountiful. Matt was great to work with and now I have heat! I'd definitely use these guys again.

This is a great company. The staff is professional and they respond immediately. Chad, Jason and the office gal are friendly and helpful. They give you options and don't just try and hard sell you on the most expensive solution. When my A/C failed, I knew it was aging and probably needed to be replaced. Humphrey Heating and Cooling was able to send a representative the next day to provide an estimate for repair/replacement. Chad arrived on-time for our appointment and discussed a couple of options up-front. I also obtained estimates from two other companies that week. The competitors were not as responsive as Chad who was prompt to call me back to answer my follow-up questions. Ultimately Humphrey's replaced both my A/C and Furnace over a two-day period. Their crew arrived on-time the scheduled day of replacement and they took care in laying down drop-cloths to ensure nothing was tracked in on the carpets. They cleaned up after themselves so that everything looked the same when they left as when they arrived. Jason came back on day 2 to finish everything up and literally worked his arse off to complete the install by himself. Although he had to cut out some sheet rock to run additional electrical wiring outside, he gave me a subcontractor referral to repair it which worked out great. I highly recommend Humphries based on the excellent job.

Ok, I used an angies list voucher, YUCK! they didn't do the check up I requested, They just said, bad mother board and bad fan over $1,000 to fix, They also threw the blown fuse on the ground and didn't tell us about it. The fuse actually blew because wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwth i capacitor blew, but he wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwdidn'twwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww even see it in his check up, Not, they just didn't do the check up they just try to sell you unnecessary parts.

So they have there normal spill to try to get the job as high as possible. Be aware and run away very dishonest. Ben Henry is who saved us from Humphrey's. Call him instead he found the issue quick and was just about $200! Yeah w

I bought a home this summer and to my surprise, the ACs did not work when I moved in. On one of the hottest days of the summer. I called several places that had good reviews, hoping to go with Humphrey (they had some of the best). The receptionist was so kind, and fortunately for me, they worked me in to their busy schedule and were able to install brand new ACs in no time flat. They hire fantastic employees who care about doing a stellar job and are extremely conscientious about getting everything JUST right (even to the point of making everything fit together neatly and making it look aesthetically pleasing, in addition to making it functional, of course!). All of the employees I interacted with were very professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. Chad and Nick run a fantastic business and clearly only hire the best. Several wonderful workers came to get the jobs done. One who especially stood out was Chris, who worked to make everything impeccable with my new ACs and my new furnaces. As just one example of what made Chris great, there was a hole in the ceiling around the ductwork, where insulation could fall down. I didn't say anything about it, but he noticed it while he was working, and out of the kindness of his heart, he fixed the hole that was there beforehand and didn't even say anything about it! It's little touches like that that let you know you went with the right company. You probably heard me mention furnaces too. Turns out the house I bought also needed new furnaces (they were 26 years old). I received several estimates, but I really wanted to go with Humphrey since they did such a great job on my ACs. They offered the best price, and my 2 new furnaces are so quiet! Their warranty plan is wonderful, as well; it's clear this company stands behind their products. Buying new ACs and new furnaces is a big investment, and I like to do my research before calling any repair company. This one exceeded what I even hoped for. I won't go with anyone else from now on!

These guys are amazing!! My furnace fan stopped working, they found what the problem was. Chad gave me options on repair and replacement and explained to me why doing the repair would just be a patch as my furnace was 30 years old. On May 28 I called Humphrey Heating and Air to schedule an appointment for an AC tune-up and safety inspection. I made the appointment for later that day. I then called back about 20 minutes later to let them know that I had found a groupon for the same thing and that I purchased it and wanted to use it. She told me that services using groupon were being scheduled as a low priority and that she would have to change my appointment that was previously scheduled for that day to Friday, June 26 (a month out). I said fine. She told me that someone would be there between 10am-11am. On June 26 I arranged to work from home that day and rescheduled all my morning appointments to the afternoon. When no one had arrived or called by 12:15 I called them back. Apparently there had been some A/C emergency and no one was available to let me know that they wouldn't be there on time. The secretary (Amy) told me that they didn't call me because they were dealing with the emergency, but apparently she somehow knew. Not sure why she didn't call me. Eventually she understood my frustration and found someone else in the field that could help me and told me that he would be out to my house around 4pm. At 4:15 when I hadn't heard from anyone I called them back and Amy apologized. About 4:45 the tech (Justin) finally called me to tell me that he would be to my house around 5:30. I explained that I had to leave at 5:30 because I had a family dinner that I needed to be at. Justin made excuses and told me that I (who had an appointment scheduled a month out) wasn't as high of a priority as someone who didn't have an A/C when it's 100 outside (apparently waiting until the last minute to get an AC is an emergency). Which to me means, my $100 tune-up wasn't as high as a priority as a $800+ AC install. I will not use Humphrey Heating and Air and I don't recommend them to anyone. Horrible way to do business and horrible way to treat customers.

The communication was an issue, but understandable. The company responded best to text and email. Never did get them to answer the phone.
Their tech (Jacob) that came to my house day 1, just did a ""quick fix"", 2 hours after he left, the issue resumed. Day 2 he showed up. Left because of a communication between landlady and company. He told the Landlady that someone had welded the system since he was last there. The system was as he left it. When Chad was contacted he said that if there was a negative review it would be ""unjustly"". Well an employee who does a half baked job, then blames a made up issue for the continued issue, is dishonest. I am not sure of the other techs, but Jacob needs to be watched. Make sure he is inspects the system. He ran up a bill and did nothing to fix the issue. He is no better than a used car salesman.

communication issues are understandable, and i hold nothing against the owner or other employees for the communication issue. It is the professionalism that the above employee conducted, that gives the company a bad review

Had them come by to fix our ac. The service was fine, the price gouging was not. Spraying off our ac unit and hitting the reset button cost us $100.
