I am shocked by all these reviews, I just had such a positive experience working with Expert Services. The Owner Tom could not have been nicer to work with and I found him very professional. He was the only plumber I found who was willing to work with me to try to repair an original (nearly 100 year old) Crane toilet in our home. And when we decided to replace it in the end, he gladly changed courses and actually used the parts from the broken toilet to repair another Crane toilet in our home. He also gave us a very reasonable price to replace our boiler. He has been nothing but very helpful and easy to work with and I feel lucky that I found a plumber that will actually do plumbing work.
This is the WORST service provider I have ever worked with! The biggest irony is their name. They do not call back or return calls, especially after you've signed up for service and paid them. After about 12 voicemails, I was able to schedule a cleaning no sooner than 3 weeks time. I was promised the first appointment and my technician arrived 1.36hr late with no phone call or apology. DO NOT hire this company. I can understand bad luck and traffic and all that. But the owner put the blame on me each time saying I was hard to reach. They feel no accountability or responsibility to their customers. No apology for ill service, lateness or never calling back. They acted as if they were doing me the favor by doing the job I had paid them to do!
I had a really bad experiance with this company. My gas got shut off due to a leak in the house by Con Edison and was recommended this company. They were quick to come out and take a 500 dollar deposit and stated that they will try to find the gas leak. Later I recieved a call stating that they werent able to find the leak and that I need to replace all the gas pipes in my house. This would cost thousands of dollars. I was in a corner. They have my 500 dollars, I decided to get a second opinion. I had another plumbing company come out and isolate the leak within an hour and charged me pennies. I never needed to have all the pipes replaced in my house like this company stated. I would always suggest to get a second opinion before committing to an expense that might not be necessary (like in this case). In my experience every company and contractor that asks for money upfront to get started, cares only about money and once they have some upfront they are more likely to ask for more as you are committed. Terrible! Terrible Terrible service! DO NOT USE THEM!!!!! Stay Away,,, we use them for installation of a dishwasher, they did not do it right and water leaked and ruined our floor and they refused to accept their error and responsibility ,,,, ended costing me thousands to get the problem corrected ... TOTALLY USELESS company,,, NEVER AGAIN using them in the future.
Suzee Q.I have been using this company since I moved into my new house primarily because the former owners used them, and the Expert Services stickers were all over the furnace and water heater. I have since discovered that they've been overcharging me outrageously for their services, and I'd unfortunately had a water heater and lots of other work done from them! Later, I had a plumber come in to clear a clog who quoted me ONE-TENTH the price that Expert Services gave me for rerouting a drain. Another plumber that I used from Angie's List warily asked me how I liked my service from Expert Services. I asked him what he heard about them and he did not have good news about them at all. The technician, Tony, that has come to my house has been great, but I will not use them in future.
LaNee E.0 out of 5 stars! Our company engaged Tom Quatroni and Expert Services for repairs at our hotel in White Plains. Due to a back office accounting error, the $11,367.45 invoice was paid twice: once from our NY office and again from our Houston corporate office. Even after numerous appeals to Expert Services and Mr. Tom Quatroni, they have refused to refund the over payment of $11,367.45.
