Yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting meeting Levon with "Expert Plumbing and Rooter". As a general rule of thumb, whatever my designated appointment time is I will tack on 30 minutes to an hour as an expected arrival time but was pleasantly surprised when Levon arrived late Friday on time as well as early Saturday morning. Levon wasted no time in assessing the problem and promised to return the next morning(Saturday) to address and rectify the problem/s under our kitchen sink. As promised, he showed up on time and ready to work and did an amazing job in reasonable amount of time(reinforcing in my mind his integrity and honesty as in the past i have had guys turn a 30 min job into a 3-4 job which is never appreciated). Furthermore, after he finished "on the clock" he took the time to show me how to fix another unrelated issue which I really appreciated. I HIGHLY recommend calling Levon if you have any plumbing or related issues as I will be doing the same when the time comes again.

My employees called for emergency service at 5am. They were told someone would arriving within an hour and a half, and we'd had no sign nor hair of them by 10:45. They never even called to tell us they'd be late.

Roman, the owner, called me to express his regret with that incident. It was a misunderstanding and he apologized profusely. Roman was great and wanted to identify the issues so he could fix them in the future. He reminded me that we've received as much service from them as possible in the past, and that service has been as sound as possible. I'll be giving his crew a call if we have any non-grease trap related issues in the future.

If I could give ZERO stars I would.

We had a clogged kitchen sink on a Friday night. Not good! Especially since we had a 20 person Thanksgiving party scheduled on Saturday.

We called Expert Plumber on Friday night. They told us they would have a plumber on the scene at 7:30am on Saturday morning.

First, the plumber showed up late. Then, he tried to charge us over $300 bucks to snake a sink drain. My roommate is a contractor and told him that was ridiculous. Thus, the guy told us he would do it for $120, then left the apartment to go get some additional supplies.

Here's the punchline: He never came back!! And, his office ignored our calls. Leaving us in despair trying to find another plumber.

Would never recommend this service to anybody.

I called about a dozen emergency drain service places on a Tuesday night around 10pm...they either didn't answer, didn't call back, or couldn't come until the next day...meanwhile, we had shit coming up out the sewer...literally.

I was about to give up, but I tried one more company that I found right here on Yelp. Not only did they answer, but the technician (Levon) got here ahead of schedule.

I'll spare you all the details...Bottom line - he diagnosed the issue fairly quickly (turns out it was the city shit pipe that was jammed up) and for a reasonable fee.

I'm keeping this crew in my contacts.

After several delays and false promises (since Friday October 3, 2014), I am relieved to report that Expert Plumbing & Rooter, Inc. FINALLY provided the promised refund in the amount of $170.00.

Their mailing envelope was postmarked Saturday 11/15/14 - which I received on Monday 11/17/14.

Today (Tuesday 11/18/14), Chase bank confirmed that funds were available in their account and this matter has finally been resolved.

Thankfully, I can now put this mess behind me.

They told me to expect a call around a specific time. Call came during a two minute interval during which I had to step outside my house (had to break up a fight between a neighborhood cat and mine). When I got back inside I saw the missed call and immediately tried calling back a few times back-to-back. No answer. Then I tried the Yelp number (which I assume is dispatcher) a few times back-to-back. No answer. Totally bizarre and unprofessional. Even on a schedule, I doubt someone else could have taken my slot that quickly. I figure they're not terribly interested in making money. I'll be calling another plumber tomorrow.

They showed up within the timeframe given. They unplugged the line that was backing our toilet into shower and tub. At $160, perhaps not the cheapest or most expensive but it was Sunday evening and THEY CAME and in 15 minutes all was good. To us It was well worth it. Be sure to ask for the Yelp discount. The plumber gladly applied it, no problem.

With a very short notice , father and son showed up in time, brought all the parts and proper equipment and finished the job.
