Had them come in to fix a leaking kitchen sink and leaking outside faucet. Chris did an excellent job and was done in an hour and a half. Unfortunately for me, the job was $325 per job for a total of $650 plus $80 diagnostics fees. Apparently, Expert Plumbing does not do two hour minimum rate plus parts like most sane plumbers. They have a flat rate for each job. They conveniently fail to mention this when I called about the job and explained clearly what needed to be fixed. Accounting for parts at $50, I just paid over $300/hr.

Totally ripped my mother-in-law off... $551.00 to replace a toilet flush valve, tank gasket, and wax ring, for maybe a half-hour's work and $30.00, retail, in parts! For that price, they could have installed 2 new toilets! The bill was not broken down to parts and labor, just 2 flat fees of $243.00 each for ""Job 1: replace flapper, fix tank leak"" and ""Job 2: reset toilet on flange"" (not exact quotes, but close enough), plus $79.95 ""diagnosis fee"". They did give her a senior discount, but that's kind of a moot point when the fee is so exorbitant to begin with...

We have had Expert Plumbing out once to our old house and 3 times to a house we just bought for various issues.

They are always on time, very professional, polite and have provided excellent service.

I can not recommend them highly enough.

I had a big project of plumbing a new Dental office and Expert took care of it without a problem. The biggest obstacle was the City of Chicago and the plumbing code. Without any hiccups Brockman took care of everything and we passes all inspections. Their estimate was fair without any additional hidden costs. I highly recommend expert plumbing for big and small jobs

Excellent experience.

I called in a panic around 10 am and was given a 2 hour window of 11-1. The office called to let me know Eric A was on his way and would be at the house in 15 minutes. He was right on time at 11 and was EXCELLENT. He diagnosed the problem, offered me a few alternatives (not many with a frozen pipe) and quoted a price.

It was $80 for the call, and $375 for the work to put in a shut off valve and drain. He also offered a package for $375 that waived the service call, provided a 15% discount, and cleaning for our two furnaces - along with free service calls for the year. He was not ""selling"" just letting me know about my options which I really appreciated. If his level of service, and kindness is any indication of the firm, they will be a pleasure to work with.

Eric completed the work in a timely manner, was very clean (covered his shoes in the house), and patiently answered the 10,000 questions I had about plumbing in general

I am now a Raving Fan of Expert Plumbing!!

After the recent flooding, we decided to renovate and upgrade the entire basement electrical system. This was a 2 day job that required pulling a permit from the City of Naperville, and Frank saw to it that the process was flawless. He even showed me one of my old 100 amp circuit breakers that was partially melted. A fire waiting to happen, so I'm glad we spent the bucks to get this done. Thanks guys!

Worst experience ever for any kind of service whatsoever. Came out to unplug clog. Guy here for 4 hours and could not find or fix problem. We then could not stay in our house had to move out for 2 days. Charged us almost $800.00. Came back for 9.5 hours still could not fix problem. We were referred to someone else who fixed the problem within 1 1/2 hours. He was amazed at what a mess Expert left. Sewer garbage all over floors, all over walls from head to ceiling, sink, shower and hallway. Was told we now cannot use the bathroom until everything is replaced. Then get another bill one day later for another $1,200.00. Took pictures and will be reporting them to the BBB!

Matt did an excellent end to end service job. 1) Before even arriving, he made clear that on a Saturday night the charges would be higher than normal. 2) He quickly assessed the situation, developed a plan of action, and explained both what he was going to do and why. 3) He did a good job of covering the floors (and between the ups and downs his feet) to make sure there was no mess left behind. 4) At the end he clearly explained what he had found and made suggestions on how to prevent in the future.

Top notch service. Woudl recommend to anyone.
