I have filed complaint with Nevada Contractor's Board as I was not able to find that Company was licensed. They did not complete work, were no shows and I foolishly paid. My stupid. I should have vetted this Company And most likely would have found that they were properly licensed or skilled at performing the job. Not only did they not finish but workmanship stunk.

If you're looking for a reliable handyman to do any jobs around the house, this is not who you want to call. Paul Meli is ""The No Show Man,"" when it comes to finishing a job on time.

He and his son, Dalton, took several hours to complete a few very small electrical issues in my house on Oct. 11, and had to drive back and forth to the hardware store to get parts that were repeatedly the wrong ones. When he couldn't get the 6 right specialty light bulbs after buying the wrong ones twice, he said he'd have to order them online and would come back in a couple of days to deliver and finish the job.

He said he'd come on Oct. 15. No show. He didn't respond to my texts on Oct. 15, 17, 18. Finally, on Oct 19 he texted that he'd be by on Oct. 21. No show. He didn't respond to my texts on Oct. 22. On Oct. 23 he said he'd come in the afternoon. No show. Today is Oct. 24. He hasn't responded to my text today.

I made a big mistake by paying him for the completed job on Oct. 11, the day only day he was here. He asked if I wanted pay him that day or when he brought the light bulbs. I stupidly trusted that he'd deliver in the next 2-3 days. If I hadn't given him a check that day, which he cashed immediately, he would've had to deliver to get paid. My bad.

I don't like leaving negative reviews, but this company is the worst. Paul never showed up on time, he no showed completely four times and he never completed the work he was paid to do. I have a different company coming in to replace the sheet rock repair he did as it is so bad. As well, I hired another company to fix the electrical work he installed as what he put in is now causing the patio cover to leak when it rains. I was stupid enough to pay him before the work was done because of his sob story about his truck not working. That's on me. The rest of it is on him.

If you want someone to show up on time. look elsewhere.. I booked an appointment about a week ahead for 9-10am on a saturday.. by 1040 I didn't hear from him so i texted.. no answer for another 45 min. then he said he was running late and he was on his way... another hour went by and still nothing... his response was that he was at home depot and he would be here shortly... too many excuses... I shouldn't have to call him. he should have called to let me know what was going on and call before you are even late.

I called Paul based on other yelp reviews and I Highly recommend him as well. He showed up the same day I called, gave me an honest estimate on the spot which was reasonable and did a great job. Even came back later in the evening to correct an issue I noticed.

Paul & his partner did a phenomenal job! They installed 3 units for us in our new home. The work was done quickly and professionally. Paul was very informative with all the tricky questions we had in regards to lighting. I highly recommended his services! We will be calling him again to further assist us with other projects.
