Plumber Job Duties:

Installs supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures ahead of setup.
Assembles connectors and controls for setup.
Modifies the dimensions of piping, fittings, and plumbing items to suit the structure.
Utilizes saws and pipe cutters as necessary.
Places climate control systems, including heaters.
Collaborates with builders, tradespeople, electrical technicians, and pipe specialists for the installation and repair of plumbing.
Tests the plumbing network for leaks and issues.
Analyses problem and identifies appropriate tools and materials for repair.
Picks plumbing materials based on budget, location, and intended uses of building.
Adheres to health and safety standards and complies with building codes.
Writes a summary report of the problem and steps taken.
Performs checks of plumbing networks to detect and replace faulty parts.
Drafts proposals and plans while managing helpers and apprentices.
