I had these guys over to my house to fix the drain problem. They located the problem, but charged too much. Hourly rate was 85 dollars per hour, as the manager told me. However, they charged me $30 more for service call, which was never discussed, and $102 for parts. The parts include shower handle and some others for inside mechanism. I think I could get those parts at Home Depot not more than 50$. Also, they spent about 1hour 35 minutes, but charged for 2 hours.

Yes, they are nice guys and appear on time. But I feel like I spent about 130 dollars more. They should be more honest about the cost. If you want to use those guys, make sure to get the estimate first.

One month ago, I hired electricians. They were honest and charged right amount. I will go with those electricians,, but not sure with these plumbers.

I had a good experience with these guys. We have a gas water heater and hot air furnace and yesterday the boiler pilot went out and wouldn't light again, and then this morning the furnace seemed to be really overheating. The folks I have the warranty with were not able to send anyone until Tuesday (Columbus day holiday on Mon). Nice ""emergency"" service! I'm not naming names because I'm not here to bash anyone as much as praise EP. So I went with the Yelp reviews and picked these guys out and also b/c they're close by in Woburn. The tech Dave came over and pretty much sussed out the problem straight-away: The Flue was clogged up. After he pulled out a nest, a couple of dead birds, and who knows what else, we were back in business! Dave was really polite, didn't seem impatient when I was hovering over him trying to see what was going on and asking a ton of questions - and he even kept quiet about the dead birds in front of my 3-year-old :)
Thanks Dave and E.P. for a good experience.

My roommate and I just moved into a new apartment in Cambridge, MA. One of the two showers had no hot water so we called Executive Plumbing at 10p.m. last night. Dave came early this morning and fixed it right up! Dave really worked above and beyond my expectations! Thanks Executive Plumbing!

Called to see if I could get a water heater replaced today at 12:42pm. Water heater was completely installed by Dave (who was very professional and friendly) at 3:18pm.

Fast, professional, efficient. That's all I could ask for from a last minute request!

Thank you so much for coming through!! Will definitely recommend and use again.

In November a failed low-water cut-off valve on our old steam boiler failed, it ran out of water, and the tank cracked. We needed a new one. We used space heaters for a few weeks while I contacted & got quotes from various plumbers. Of the 5+ I contacted and the 3 who showed up to take a look at our system and give a quote, Rich of Executive was the only one who actually walked around and measured our radiators to determine the size boiler we would need, instead of just assuming we'd need the same size as the old boiler. This was a common recommendation in ""how to hire a plumber to install a new boiler""-type posts I had read on-line. Of the 3 quotes we got, Executive's came in lowest (by a little). Plus Rich included two potential alternatives to just installing a new boiler, which included installing an upgraded boiler that would function as a hot water heater too, and switching to a hot water system. Those other two options were more expensive than just a new boiler, and although they had some advantages, we opted to just go w/ the new steam boiler. The installation went smoothly & the new radiator (installed mid-December) works well. A month later (January) I did notice a slight drip leak from the sight glass - looked like the seal on the bottom was not tight for some reason. Before I had a chance to call Executive out for a look, I (somehow) overfilled the radiator & pipes with water when re-filling the boiler tank. Water everywhere, I cleaned up & shut down the boiler, worried that I had done some permanent damage. I called Rich, and within an hour, one of his guys was here, checking out the boiler & radiators - free - as a follow-up check to our installation. He fixed the sight glass drip at the same time. While the tech was here, I asked him to splice in a new piece of water pipe in a water line where we had a pinhole leak. He did that for cheap $$. Needless to say, Executive is my new go-to company for plumbing & heating problems.

Executive plumbing is not truthful when counting time used to charge for labor fee.
I needed a shower symmons valve repaired and a kitchen sink unclogged. They came twice. On 2/4/23, they charged me $458.45 for material plus ( 4 hr x $ 85/hr) labor. They did not stick with the estimate. did not call me to update. only said they failed to snake the sink, after 2 attempts, and had to saw open the pipes. Dave said the disposal was fine. and that they will return.
They did not show up the next day.
On 2/6/13 I was present when they said the disposal tail fell apart, so they saw off the disposal and replaced a simple drain and connected the drain pipes. The bill was $ 240.43. When I called manager Rich to tell him it took them exactly 35 mins. He said there is a one- hour minimum charge. but reduced the bill by $ 85 That means he reduced the labor charge from 2 hrs to one hr. I wondered about the first bill, but i was not present. He was very discourteous.
Anyone heard of spending that much on fixinf a shower valve and unclogging a sink?

I was dismayed to find a leak in our basement in the middle of the night and immediately went online to find a plumber. The reviews for Executive Plumbing were promising and I called them at 8 am. They offered to come out between 1 and 4 pm that day so I called out of work. At 4:10 pm I called to see if they still planned to come and left a message with someone in the office. It's 6:45 now and they never returned my call. I'm disappointed that I spent a whole day waiting and they didn't have the courtesy to call and let me know what was happening. I am again on the hunt for a plumber to fix our leak and one sick day poorer because of it.

After calling two other plumbers to no end, I was happy to be able to schedule an appointment with Executive right away. Dave, the plumber, was late for my designated window, but that's my only complaint. Once he got here, he worked very hard, clearly explained what he was doing and why, and charged a reasonable fee for it. The upstairs shower was causing a backup in the downstairs tub and sink. Dave had it cleared up in about an hour, and the results have been great. I was very happy with this service and I would recommend them to others.

For the second time in 2 years I had to call with an emergency plumbing crisis. A kind and great plumber arrived within 30 mins. It turned out to be a major project but he handled it and always stopped to alert me to next steps (i.e.:costs). The work was done promptly and professionally and I wouldn't hesitate to call again or recommend to others.

I'm new to Boston and new to ""old steam"" radiators as a source of heat in the home. Now I feel much more educated and managing to sleep a little easier at night. A very helpful employee at Back Bay hardware was able to give me the general concept as to what was happening after I showed him a video of the ridiculous noise being generated from our living room radiator. So I went home with this concept in mind and managed to ""pitch"" the very heavy heating device but to know avail. So I go back to the hardware store and the same gentleman gave me the number of Executive Plumbing.

It's fairly strange here, I mean everyone should have some reservations about handing out recos for various services and what not... but the building's management company, among others, seemed overly guarded for whatever reason. I mean its a recommendation, ultimately it's the inquirer's decision and action, unfortunately like everything else in our world liability has infiltrated the most mundane.

At anyrate, Executive Plumbing was great, very professional and timely. Now what once sounded like hammers beating the radiator every time the steam circulated is a gentle swish of air and while I was on the right track with the ""pitching"" of the beast it was finally Executive Plumbings actions that made the horrendous noise go away!

Thanks guys.
