I'm new to Boston and new to ""old steam"" radiators as a source of heat in the home. Now I feel much more educated and managing to sleep a little easier at night. A very helpful employee at Back Bay hardware was able to give me the general concept as to what was happening after I showed him a video of the ridiculous noise being generated from our living room radiator. So I went home with this concept in mind and managed to ""pitch"" the very heavy heating device but to know avail. So I go back to the hardware store and the same gentleman gave me the number of Executive Plumbing.

It's fairly strange here, I mean everyone should have some reservations about handing out recos for various services and what not... but the building's management company, among others, seemed overly guarded for whatever reason. I mean its a recommendation, ultimately it's the inquirer's decision and action, unfortunately like everything else in our world liability has infiltrated the most mundane.

At anyrate, Executive Plumbing was great, very professional and timely. Now what once sounded like hammers beating the radiator every time the steam circulated is a gentle swish of air and while I was on the right track with the ""pitching"" of the beast it was finally Executive Plumbings actions that made the horrendous noise go away!

Our first experience with Executive Plumbing, and we couldn't be happier. After contacting several plumbers in the Arlington area and receiving quotes in the thousands, Art and Brandon came, quickly assessed the problem and took care of it within one hour. nice enough people but lack of experience showed. also did not have right equipment in the truck so had to call for backup or drive away to pick it up at the headquarters which cost me even more money b/c i had to wait. very disappointed i wasted my money and should have went with more experience. if i have something simple like a leaky faucet or need to repair a toilet i think they're up to the task ... but more complex than that i would proceed with caution

My second experience with Executive was just as amazing as the first. From the initial call to the company and speaking with the very friendly and professional woman who answered the phone - to the prompt, friendly, and very professional reasonably priced service that followed - I am still extremely satisfied with Executive. I have no hesitation in calling them for any additional work.

my first experience of hiring a plumber to install a new garbage disposal was pretty smooth. found executive on yelp and decided to give them a ring. left a voicemail, which was returned a day later. when i asked for an estimate of this disposal installation, they declined to give me a rough estimate and said that they are a time and material company. yes, i am aware that it will be time and material, but it would make me feel more comfortable...

nonetheless, a brand new garbage disposal installation where there was never one should take no more than an hour, so i was comfortable enough to proceed. the plumber showed up promptly at the appointed day and time and was efficient and systematic in tearing apart the pipes and attaching the disposal unit i had already purchased. the only thing that worried me was he thought he was coming to remove an existing unit and replacing. but not to worry, he had the disposal unit running in just under an hour. paid him via check and he left. hope all my future plumbing projects will be as painless!

I had a busted water heater, and I tried calling a few other places, nobody was able to come out that day. They came out 2 hours later with a replacement. Reasonable price, would definitely do business with again.

I've never used these guys. Well, let me correct that. I've never had to PAY them. The first and only time I called, Richard insisted on telling me how to solve my heating problem over the phone, displaying a rare generosity and interest in educating his potential customer rather than charging him. I'm sold. They get my business next time I can't solve it myself!

I've used these guys twice so far - once in early Nov, then again in late Dec. I had high expectations due to their high ratings here, and I was not let down. Scheduling was quick and easy, and they got the job done promptly both times (different issues). Rich was fun to deal with on the phone, and Dave completed the work efficiently. Cost seemed reasonable. Would use again.

I used Executive Plumbing for hooking up my gas dryer. Two guys that came were very professional and efficient. They even gave me some insurance tips related to rubber hoses. The final bill came higher than originally quoted so I called the office later after which they made an adjustment. Would definitely use them again.

Great company - we used them to get our business up and running and were very happy with the service and price. When we had a slight issue a few weeks after the final install, I called Rich and he had someone down within 15 minutes. We don't have enough hard-working people in the world like these guys! Highly recommend.
