I requested a price from Gino on installing a water heater. He asked for pictures of the room where the water heater would be installed - which i provided. He quoted me a price. I accepted that price and just wanted to confirm with him that the price he quoted me would be reduced by the coupon he has advertised on his website. He refused to honor his own coupon !! Giant red flag.
When i asked him why he would not honor his own coupon, he made up a bunch of irrelevant excuses, clearly trying to rationalize his unwillingness to act above board. On top of that, he then did a 180 and tried to suggest his original quote was not ""firm"" - which was totally untrue since he made no mention of this when he quoted me his price for the job.
My advice to anyone who is considering doing business with this guy is - think twice, he is ethically compromised and not honest.

Gino answered right away and was at my house within 2 hours. Reliable, professional and super nice. Don't even think twice. Give them a a ring for any of your plumbing, HVAC, duck cleaning etc needs.

Bath Tub Faucet Replacement
-Shut down the water
- Cut and remove the existing faucet
- Furnish and install a new Moen rough faucet
- Turn on the water

New Furnace Installation
- Run new low voltage wire
- New Honeywell digital thermostat installation

Spoke to Gino (Owner) and began inquiry for estimate. Stanley came over for estimate. Stanley is a very nice guy and easy to talk to. He handled the furnace installation. He took pictures of old furnace and circulation pump on boiler, and reviewed the plumbing work and took pics. Furnace took about 4 - 5 hours to install and also replaced thermostat. Furnace works well so far and very happy with the install. Thank you Stanley!
Constantine was in charge of the plumbing aspect and he as well was very easy to talk to and work with. 2 day job, each job took about 4 hours. He also helped unclogg my bathroom sink and bathtub (not for free) lol I had a bet with my fiance that our kid clogged it with toys, I won the bet, thank you Constantine! Bathroom sink had about 7 years worth of my daughters and fiance hair. Ugh. Very pleased with the work done, thank you Constantine!

I would highly reccomend Excellent Plumbing for their work and the professionalism. Fair pricing and nice guys to do business with. We will call them back when we have more to repair and maintain! Thank you Gino!

Side Note for old homes:
Once the water was turned back on after plumbing work done, water flow to my bathroom sink was not great. All others were fine. Me not knowing a lot about plumbing I called Gino believing it could have been an issue they may need to resolve due to the work recently performed. He explained to me that since I have an old house (almost 100 years old) I have galvanized piping. Over time corrosion develops on the horizontal pipes and become clogged over time. Unfortunately this can occur if you keep turning off your water and turning it back on, or eventually will happen at some point in time. He explained that now homes are now made with PVC or copper pipes now to prevent this.
I appreciated the explanation and most likely will have to call on them again to re-pipe my house. Its unfortunate, but it is what it is.

For me, Excellent Plumbing was indeed excellent. We had our furnace repaired under a home warranty. The guys from Excellent quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered the replacement part, and installed it. I'm an engineer and fairly experienced amateur mechanic, and Stan worked carefully and professionally as if he was working on his own furnace.

He is a real pro and I recommend him with no reservations.

Wow! Really, wow! Gino is my new favorite plumber. Like many parents and grandparents , I was a victim of Matchbox cars down the toilet and irretrievably stuck in the trap. Gino came out same day, and after the toys proved unwilling to yield, replaced my toilet, also same day. The amount of work he did, his responsiveness, reasonable price, and courtesy were unbeatable. Hired Excellent to address a gas smell I was noticing near my dryer. They diagnosed the problem quickly and replaced the gas valve in a tight space. I thought the price was reasonable and they were very friendly and professional. The other good Yelp reviews were spot on. Glad I found them!

Have used a few other plumbers and their work was fine but their communication was never very good, so this morning when my water heater went out, I decided to use Yelp. Saw Excellent Plumbing, read their reviews and decided to give them a try. I messaged them for a quote and heard back from Gino within ten minutes. He set up an appointment for that afternoon and although they did have to change the time of the appointment once, I appreciated the fact that they kept me informed through phone calls and texts. The work was done quickly, professionally and the communication was excellent. Will definitely use them again.
