Steve and his team were amazing. I needed a water heater installed in a very cramped portion of my basement. Firstly, when I called Excellence, I got an estimate within hours. Scheduling the work was simple and they agreed to come in 2 days. They showed up on time and got right into the project. Within hours it was done, at a very high level, and the Excellence team explained all of the adjustments I could possibly need to make. Part of the work was to take away the old hot water heater, but there was no room on the truck. So, Steve called another one of his team in the area to come get the old unit and haul it away.

Great customer service, and I'd highly recommend Excellence for you plumbing needs.

I recently used excellence Plumbing to fix a botch job by another plumber. I had taken several quotes. One companyy stated that it would cause thousands of dollars to repair. When excellence Plumbing came out, they were able to quickly fix the repair and it only cost me $250. Small job completed

Very happy with Excellence Plumbing. Steve and his crew installed a new hot water heater. I took photo of existing and texted to his scheduler. Steve provided options that allowed me to purchase the tank separately. He scheduled me for install a few days later. In and out in a few hours. Very clean work and plumbing joints. Excellence Plumbing's customer service is superior! Robin and I spoke on several occasions across multiple days about the issues that I was experiencing with my water heater. She was patient, responsive, and walked me through various options that I could take to meet my needs. Due to extenuating circumstances out of my and Excellence Plumbing's control, I had to halt servicing on my water heater. However, despite no longer being able to obtain service from Excellence Plumbing, Robin still provided sound advice that was in my best interest. As echoed in previous reviews, this exemplifies the integrity of this business.

I would for sure recommend Excellence Plumbing simply because they genuinely care. I plan to work with them in the future should issues arise within my home.

Not even sure where to start. I had 2 experiences with bad plumbers suggested through my home warranty company so decided to look on my own and found Excellence Plumbing. Their Yelp reviews seemed good and I really appreciated and liked that they were family-owned, which I always try to support. Started corresponding over text Dec. 27th, providing information about a broken hot water heater in my condo. Sent pictures, got a quote. Spoke to Robin about which replacement unit I should buy and provided my tenants contact info to schedule the fix. She told me she'd send the necessary replacement purchase info. Never did. Still I trusted them. On Jan. 9th, I sent a text saying I'd like to move forward. No response. Sent a follow up on Jan. 14th and asked which product I should buy. Received a response that they'd had a family emergency, would need to reschedule with my tenant, and needed their contact info again. So I sent it again. Asked again about what hot water heater I should purchase. Robin responded ""yes, I will send."" On Jan. 16th, she sends me a text that was meant for my tenants. She finally, after another prompt, sends me the link to the Lowes product I need to buy just a day before the work is supposed to get done. And the product says it won't be ready until weeks later. I share that info with her and ask her what to do. She sends me another link for a different Lowes location, but for a different product this time?! I point this out and express my confusion and she says, ""its comparable."" I look back at my condo pictures and the link she sent shows a product that is CLEARLY too tall to fit! I point this out. She responds ""I spoke to the master plumber. He said don't purchase. The only place to purchase is from a Plumbing Supply House"" and that I should call them and ask for Jeff. I'm perplexed and frustrated. Yet for the sake of my tenants, I keep going. I call Jeff and he has no idea what I'm talking about. Robin has not even given him a heads up and he's boggled by how the whole process is going down. I text Robin back and express my frustration and ask to speak to a manager. No response. I ask her to give me the plumber, Steve's number so I can talk to him directly. No response. Hours later I get the following message: ""Seema, we apologize. We attended Steve's sister's funeral today. I will call the plumbing supply company for you today. Thanks for understanding."" This all happened THE DAY BEFORE THE WORK WAS SET TO BE DONE! I respond with ""I'm sorry to hear that, but shouldn't you have let me and my tenants know so we could reschedule or adjust or something?"" Then she leaves a voicemail and sends a text ""I just tried to call. Unfortunately we are not going to be able to install a new water heater. We have had several unexpected deaths. I could have told you but I have been working hard on your behalf to locate the correct water heater with stores giving us misinformation."" Her voicemail says ""it doesn't seem like we're the right fit...you should probably find someone else to do the work."" Again, this is all the day before the tenants took the day off to be home to get this all done. I'm livid and confused and annoyed and all sorts of other rage-filled emotions. This is not just bad for me, but reflects badly on me with my tenants who have already had the inconvenience of scheduling around two other bad plumbers. I want to be a good landlord and thought Excellence plumbing were the ones to break the bad luck cycle. I was so so wrong and way too trusting. I FULLY understand tragedy and family trauma and needing to deal with it. But when it happened to me, I communicated with those around me, especially my professional contacts, so as not to burden them or leave them hanging or asked someone else to do it on my behalf. This company, tragedies aside, is unprofessional, untrustworthy, disorganized and I do not recommend them at all. Everything I wrote above about what happened is all documented via text and can't be disputed. It clearly demonstrates their unprofessional behavior, bordering on shadiness. BEWARE!

Jay and his team at Excellence Plumbing did a bang-up job on my plumbing job. My system is a bit odd and it required a new pump and some new pipes and a trap. They quickly diagnosed the situation and acquired and installed the pump within a few days. They identified some previous work that was a bit shoddy and they cleaned it all up with new parts and it works great and looks clean and professional. DC is sorely lacking good plumbers and these guys will now be my go-to for any plumbing work!

Not sure where all these high reviews are coming from. Based on the mostly positive reviews I called these guys to check out a couple of issues at my house: 1) low water temperature on my bathroom; and 2) leaking expansion tank. After the plumber fumbled around with my shower faucet for a couple of hours to no avail I just told him to leave it and I read the manual for the faucet and fixed it myself in 20 minutes after he left. As for the expansion tank, he quoted me on the spot $450 to replace the leaking tank claiming he would need to replace and tank and flush the whole system, which is not true! After some more research on my end, I realized I could buy a new tank for $50 and replace it myself rather quickly. He also said the $150 diagnostic fee could apply towards any work I had done. I asked them to send me and invoice and and estimate for the expansion tank work and they never sent me either. That was over a week ago. This is just about as bad as it gets for a company. They didn't fix either problem, charged me a diagnostic fee for basically wasting my time, and never sent an invoice or estimate for the work.
