“Only Pure Satisfaction” I’m Josh Walker from Excel Comfort Services. As a licensed and trained HVAC and Plumbing Tech, Since 2012, I have been part of the Excel Family. I love assisting others, putting forth my best effort, and resolving challenges. These three aspects make for the ideal combination to love what I do.
I have experienced many facets of HVAC and plumbing during my career. A highlight of my career was my work on the Devon Tower in Oklahoma City. I cherish the memories of working with my father before he passed in 2013. Since 2003, I have been passionate about HVAC and plumbing, starting my journey at Autry Vo-Tech in Enid, America. Since that time, I have worked hard to grow and improve my skills. One reason I love being part of ECS is that it enables me to excel and reach my full potential, alongside the family-like culture that ECS promotes.

Set up an appointment to get a Lennox fireplace services and a fellow named Josh was sent to our house. Josh was extremely unprofessional when I had any questions; arrogantly responding with half answers and laughing at my knowledge at the inter-workings and operation of the fireplace. We didn't even get to the explanation of the repairs or why it wasn't working with the flurry of boyish self indulgence as a response to any questions I had on the fireplace. He refused to show me where the pilot light would be lit at, proclaiming ""its back there, you can't see it."" Trust was immediately and completely gone once he started laughing arrogantly at me. Customers are supposed to feel confident in the service and advice that service companies and their employees put forth when diagnosing and interacting with them. Josh showed a complete lack of professionalism and validation in his craft in our interactions. Do NOT recommend.
Cami P.The quality of the work was fine and the staff were nice enough. However, I needed a quote for a very specific and somewhat unusual repair. Rather than giving me factual information about what my needed repair would entail, options for completing the work, and what my repair would cost, the technician used some pre-printed lists of tiered services to try and upsell me into unnecessary add-ons. He was evasive when I asked him directly what it would take to just make my system work as it should, and persisted in reading of detailed information about ""top tier"" services when I indicated I was not interested.
I was clear that we would be seeking out estimates from multiple companies and that I would be talking to my husband before making any decisions. But he persisted in reading through three lists of services, emphasizing the ""top tier"" and finishing each list with ""And which one are we going to do today?""
This encounter left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be considering them to complete my repair.
Professional! Thorough cleaning of the compressor coils & careful system inspections. Technician was extremely knowledgeable & gave me two items to ""watch"" regarding the system.
I was very impressed by how well the technician translated ""tech talk"" to non-industry regular person talk. I know very little about HVAC systems but understand much more since their visit.
Pam C.We had a very good experience with Excel Comfort Services. I would recommend them for any of your heating & air needs.
Molly L.The customer service with this company is amazing. Constant contact, prompt, explained repairs and very personable.
My almost new (1 1/2 year) AC unit stopped working. My long-time heating & air man retired. I saw a positive review on Yelp and a couple on Google for Excel Comfort Services. Josh came out and took 20 to 30 minutes outside while I waited inside. He came in and I said ""what's the verdict""? He said ""let me go over your options."" He had some little app or software on his tablet computer that had 5 options to fix my AC. The top option he told me about was $723 to completely change out my electrical in the unit. The least expensive was called ""the Bandaid"" on his app (I wish I was making this up) for over $200. He said I needed a new relay switch. I told him I had no intention of doing business with a company that was trying to up-sell me on services. He told me he was not trying to rip me off. I said ""how much is the part that needs to be replaced?"" He didn't answer and said ""we don't sell parts. We sell our service."" Huh? I told him that I would pay his base fee for coming out which was $119. He said ""it will only cost another $100 to fix your unit."" I said I understood paid him the money while he muttered about not understanding and it didn't make sense. His parting shot was ""you better have someone take a look at your other AC unit as it is in ""urgent need"" of attention. The rest of the story is that another company came out 2 hours later and fixed my unit for $90. The only problem was that some ants had gotten into my unit and they were blocking the electrical from making contact with the unit. Beware of any repairman who goes over expensive ""options"" for a fairly unit.

I purchased a Groupon for routine furnace maintenance so I can have it ready for winter. The serviceman came and I let him up in my attic for the ""maintenance"". He comes down and tells me that something is wrong with it and says that it doesn't ""fire up correctly"". From there he gives me options for repair and of course he offers the HIGHEST package available, which was over $1,000. Of course I had to look through the packages myself to find the lowest one available, which was around $350. I called the location and spoke to the receptionist about the issue and it just so happens the manager/owner was listening on the call as well. He said that he would cancel the request, but the only issue with that is my furnace wasn't working so I would go without it until I hired someone else to fix it, which would cost me more money. The service guy came back and then stated to me the part that was required was not available so I had to wait for them to order and receive it and they would call me. I called THEM on Tuesday to see if the part was available and the receptionist called the warehouse to check. She called me back and scheduled another time for them to come out. So I had to take of MORE TIME for them to come fix my furnace. They second guy that came was cool, but they didn't even honor my Groupon. I started out paying $32 for a Groupon and they got me for over $350. Also, I called my wife afterwards and she stated she had turned in on one evening before I got home and it worked just fine.
Excellent company to call in time of need. Have used them several times and have always been pleased with the workmanship and quick response. Would recommend this company!
