These guys were always great at keep me in the loop after snowcopolis 2021 while we had no water. We eventually used someone else that could schedule us in earlier, but the communications was highly appreciated.

★★★☆☆

It was really more of a 3.5 star rating.

4 stars from answering the phone
4 stars for getting on the schedule quickly
3 stars for the Technician--NOT a plumber & this is being generous because he was nice
2 stars for the price of the work actually done

They charge $200 an hour just to look around for a leak. I agreed out of desperation because my entire first floor floor had flooded. If they actually do anything besides look to diagnose, there are additional charges. They charged me $249 to auger the main sewer line 50 feet. He didn't even have one long enough with him. And after not actually finishing the introducing the auger, the city came by and found the problem but I was still charged over $400 for his wandering around and semi putting the auger down the main line.

The real kicker though was that on the invoice statement, he stated that the home has been vacant for two years! That was an out right, absolute lie! And now my insurance company is questioning this. I told him that I purchased the home two years ago! I said it has never been vacant. Now I have to provide loads of documentation for the insurance company for them to decide if they are going to cover it. This was part of the damage done during the freezing storms here!

He was a nice guy but I was not impressed with his skills or lack of, at all.

These guys saved us during the freeze had a broken copper pipe and needed to shut off water. We emailed on a Saturday morning of the most crazy week when everyone needed a plumber. They called us back! They emailed us! They gave us an appointment. LOVED them and their service. Thank you!! Telling all my friends!

After we request service, we were fortunate Jeff came to our house quickly and help us checked all the pipe and potential leaks may have happened during the storm. Jeff wore a mask the whole time, and was polite and professional throughout the process, and still try to minimize the mess. I recommend them because I felt they genuinely wanted to help as much as possible during this crisis.

I thought I'd have to wait weeks to get my burst pipe fixed after the massive snow storm. They put me on a waitlist and said they'd get someone out between Fri and Sun. They called Sat morning and said someone would be here in 2 hours, and they were. Jason found the cracked pipe, fixed it, checked everything, and went above and beyond. He and the owner were both super friendly and professional. These are my favorite plumbers ever!

Told us that they would arrive between 2-6pm. At 5:30 they called me to say they would not be making it. Did not even offer an apology, tried to blame my wife for setting up the appointment they no showed to.

These guys were Amazing! Two months ago my pilot light on my 15 year old water heater went out. They were out within three hours to relight and give us a quote on a tankless system. The bid was very reasonable so I called the operations manager and asked him if we should move forward with the installation or hold off until the old water heater died. Naturally I assumed he would push me to replace but he said he would hold off until the old one died. I was completely impressed that they didn't to encourage me to buy right away. Two months later on Thanksgiving it started leaking. I called Excalibar back on Thanksgiving thinking I would be leaving a message and they answered. Not only did they answer but they scheduled replacement of the hot water heater for Monday and it was done by the end of day on Monday. We couldn't be happier with the service or the tankless product. I would absolutely consider paying a little extra to get the recirculating system so that you have "on demand" hot water. It's really nice to jump in the shower and have hot water immediately.

Once again disappointed with Excalibur. The service technician didn't even know where the anode rod was. He tried to tell me it's behind one of the control panels. Um, no, it's on the top of the tank. Here's a video to prove: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzecqGyCllU and also this: "The anode rod in your Rheem water heater is located on top of your tank. More precisely, your magnesium or aluminum sacrificial anode is visible through a hexagonal head located in the center of your tank under a plastic cover.May 28, 2019" Highly recommend going with a different company.

Our water heater was past its replacement date and was getting rusty as well as leaking into our garage. Bob, from Excalibur was flexible and informative and sent Corey on a saturday morning. We were told it would take 3 hours but Corey and another tech took out our old water heater and replaced it with a 50 gallon rheem water heater in under 2 hours. We appreciated the good deal and quick job!
