I called Brad about an alarming wet spot in our front yard. I was really worried that we had a leak in our water line. He came out the next day, and he found that the water was coming from a drain system installed in our house (we recently moved in) and not from the main water line. He was very polite and didn't even charge me for the visit, even though I offered. I wouldn't hesitate to call him when I have plumbing needs in the future.

I would not hire Excalibur again, particularly for a big job. After two attempts at replacing our back sewer line, over 70 days worth of delays, having to replace our damaged electrical line, and Excalibur failing to fix a ""sag"" in the new sewer line, we ate the costs and went with another contractor. Read the fine print, see if you can find a legitimate business address, and, make sure to pull a permit.

Although he was a nice person, and maybe had some skill, he misrepresented his price saying it would be $100-150, ""probably less,"" and then, before he did anything (clearing the kitchen drain with a snake) he said it would be $150. After two attempts, he couldn't clear the drain and said he'd have to call a friend with a camera. He'd get back to me. Well, it took him so long to get back to me, I called someone else and asked for some of my money back. He said that could be arranged and he would bring me a check for $50, knowing, I'm sure, that I was leaving town. I got nothing back. I was willing to give him something for his time, but not $150 for a job he couldn't do. It's too bad, because he lost a job in the house that would have netted him much more, and he knew I wanted a quote for it.

The upstairs bathroom sewer line in our 1895 house developed a leak... needless to say, it was a bit of a small disaster. After all the sheet rock and plaster were ripped out by the disaster remediation people, had to engage a plumber to replace the pipe and correct some other mistakes from a previous contractor.

After another plumbing company first sent an ill-prepared technician and THEN no-showed for another appointment, I reached out to Brad from Excalibur based on his Yelp reviews. He came right out, assessed the problem and provided a quote. While he wasn't able to come out to do the work on the originally-proposed day, he came the following Saturday morning and had us back in business by the afternoon. In addition to the nasty nature of the problem, we don't wear shoes in the house; with both concerns in mind, Brad was very professional and fastidious in his approach to keeping the house clean and tidy.

Plumbers aren't vendors you hope to ever need, but if ""duty calls"", Brad's the guy to handle it.

Brad and Austin were very helpful in assessing what our options were after our water heater went out. Brad gave me a reasonable quote for installation and even picked up the water heater I'd purchased at Home Depot and removed the old one. Called him on a Friday and had it installed on Saturday! Very happy with the work.

Brad is so amazing! Our water heater started leaking and we didn't discover it til Saturday late afternoon we spent hours calling plumbers trying to find someone who was open and had ppl available we finally got a company to give us a quote and it came in at 1695 for the cheapest 40 gallon Home Depot brand one! Finally we turned to craigslist and found his listing $400 for labor and parts and we purchase the water heater. And he agreed to come out next day Sunday a day he usually doesn't work. Install was super smooth, he is great at what he does. He even replaced all of the shut off valves and brought us up to modern code without any additional cost to what he quoted. All in all awesome experience and we've def found our go to plumber!

Brad and his company are a complete SCAM!! They took a large amount of money upfront to prepay for services, came and did some of the work and then haven't been back. He had an office assistant send me an email notifying that he isn't coming back to finish the outstanding work and wont' refund the money he was paid in advance! Watch out for this scammer!!
