Excellent, energetic plumbers! They listen well, are very responsive, professional and thorough. They take the time to explain what they can do and what your options are. Reasonable rates and they use quality materials. When they don't specialize in something related to the project (e.g. electrical or radiant heat) they have good contacts and can arrange for them to come out.

We worked with Jordan. He installed a new kitchen faucet, a thermal expansion tank and an on demand hot water heater. The finished job was clean and precise. They anticipated and took care of the little details I hadn't thought of like matching the caps on the sink holes and replacing worn out seals in the drain that would eventually cause problems. They worked quickly and efficiently, but always took time to discuss things when questions came up.

Exact did a fantastic job in a short amount of time. We were given three options to solve our plumbing issues. We opted for the biggest fix which is best in the long run and the more expensive however I never felt pressured. I was given clear descriptions of each option and was walked through the pros and cons so I could decide.
Although it was a big job they were well equipped to get started right away, returned the next morning to finish and the problem was not only solved but the job looks and functions fantastic.
Positive attitudes and laser focus, I liked that. Thanks guys, great job.

These guys are amazing! We've had a ten year old plumbing problem in our old house that we were afraid to fix due to cost ---all of the plumbers in the past quoted us upwards of $1500 every time we had someone in. So we always did the short term fix that would get us 12-18 months of relief for $300 - $400. My wife insisted we call Exact Plumbing this time around because she had spoken to them when they were working on our neighbor's problems. They showed up, gave us a detailed analysis of the issue and quoted us half of what we expected for the long term fix. They expected to start on it the following day, but when we were out for dinner, they actually showed up that same evening and started the work outside, including fixing the drainage problem! Then the next morning they finished it up in just over an hour! So basically, this ten year old problem is now fixed for half the cost of what we thought in less time that we ever thought possible. So yeah, I totally recommend these guys!

I'm a renter, so my landlord arranged for Exact Plumbing to respond when my water heater sprang a fatal leak. Zach and Jordan came when they said they would, introduced themselves as soon as they arrived, and set to work preparing to install an on-demand water heater.

As they worked, I overheard and was impressed by their communication with each other. They were also very responsive when I engaged them regarding the timing of the project, and they were just as willing to communicate with me as a tenant as they would've if I'd been the homeowner. They left their card and invited me to call if I had any questions about how the new unit works.

The only reason this rating is not 5 stars is that I haven't tested the on-demand heater for all its uses yet.

I needed a new water heater and was seriously considering a tankless.

Boy, dealing with plumbers is, well, interesting. One company tried to jack the price up another $300 to 500 from what they said when they came out and another company came out and said I wasn't a candidate for a tankless. What? I had already talked to a few other plumbers. It is outside Then they started saying everything that ""might"" need to be done. Well, duh, that's what I was trying to get a price on. It was clear they didn't want to do it so I cut the conversation short thanking them for their time. Never try to talk someone into doing a job it will show in the end.

So a plumber who doesn't come out to my area recommended Exact. They came out that day (Wednesday, Sept 17), gave me a price, couldn't understand why the other plumber said I wasn't a candidate saying I was well set up for this. I had new water lines, electric right there, propane tank right there etc. Said they could do it Friday. They called Friday to tell me when they were on their way and from where. They came, they installed, they cleaned up everything, they conquered the ""not a good candidate"" in just a few hours. They had me check and turn on all the hot water in the house at once NO PROBLEMS. Full hot water at all points at the same time.

In addition they were friendly, personable and professional. They communicated with me through the whole process. And now I have lots of extra storage space in the water heater shed.

great work...on time and done clean and right....they have done both my bathroom remodles as well as a water heater that was unexpected and he came over the next morning to replace it.....would recomend them to anyone who wants a job done right the first time...great guys!

we were having issues with our toilet and called jacks roto service (monte rio) to come out and fix it. after two days of work, and 375$ later, the issue was still not resolved. when we called him to tell him our toilet was still clogged, he told us he wanted nothing to do with us.

that was when we called exact plumbing. they came out and found the issue immediately: the water conserving toilet was installed improperly causing the issues. they installed our old toilet we happened to still have and our issues were resolved. they even cleaned the toilet and the area they worked in. they were very professional and very knowledgeable. they did all of this for a fraction of what the other plumber charged us (the plumber who did absolutely nothing).

if you have plumbing issues, i definitely recommend exact plumbing!!!!

I have had nothing but problems - all stemming from improper installation - with a wall heater installed by Exact in late 2010.

1) The installers of the supposedly new wall heater positioned the gas shutoff valve so that it was inoperable - blocked by the heater guts itself. I had to use a hack saw later to cut the valve handle in order to make it close. Clearly a serious safety issue.

2) Next, the thermostat would not reliably operate the unit. A call to the manufacturer and I learned that the wire run between the thermostat and heater was much too long, literally yards and yards of extra wiring was just left under the house between the connections.

3) After I contacted the manufacturer, I discovered as well that the installers mounted the heater improperly in the wall so it's covers rest on the floor instead of the install spec which has them above the floor by an inch or so. This mistake has left my hard wood floors in direct contact with the covers, scorching them, not to mention the large gap in the drywall above the unit which I had to patch.

4) If that was not enough, today I have a HVAC crew here cleaning the unit which has operated poorly since install. They expressed shock at the wear and tear on the unit. Then the real shocker: they identified the labelled date of manufacture of the unit was 2004, a full six years before Exact installed in my home claiming it as a BRAND NEW unit.

I have a call into Zach at Exact to find out just how he came to install a six year old heating unit in my house, while claiming it was new (and charging me as though it was).
