Evolution Pluming came to my home to fix a leak in my upstairs bathroom via my Home Warranty Service (FIRST AMERICAN). The leak was through the subfloor into my downstairs ceiling not far form my kitchen stove. A problem to say the least.
I've itemized my issues with EVOLUTION PLUMING below:
1. On the first appointment, the arrival window of 9am -1pm was missed by over 3 hours. The plumber Jeremy S. did not arrive until after 4pm. No heads up. Being late was the norm from here on.
2. Initially he tried to tell me my grout was leaking which was not covered by warranty of course. I showed he it still leaked if only the tub faucet was on not just the shower. This proved it had nothing to do with grout.
3. They requested that I call in a leak detection request via the warranty service and they would have to come back another time. They were late again when they came back for that.
4. After diagnosing, for reasons not quite clear to me I needed to pay Evolution Pluming $387 for part of the repair work with the warranty company paying the other half.
5. I begrudgingly agreed, they came back to do the work. Took less than 30 minutes.
6. About a week later and before patching my ceiling. I noticed it was still leaking. Not as bad as the initial time but still leaking pretty good.
7. Evolution came back out...(can't remember if they were late this time). Again, I was told it could be the grout when the shower is on but that was definitely not the case because it was leaking if only the tub water was running. The plumber Jeremy Skinner, saw that it was still leaking come up with some reason I can't remember to leave because it would need further diagnosis later.
8. After this, I'd had enough. The warranty company sent out another company for a second opinion. Nunex pluming. They diagnosed and fixed the remaining leak that same day. He ran off to a hardware store for about 30 minutes and fixed within 30 minutes of coming back.
What makes me so angry is that I paid Evolution Plumbing over $300 dollars of my hard earned money for this terrible effort and incomplete follow through. Their plumber Jeremy S. never put in much effort to be thorough any of the times he came. They broke my leak problem up into multiple trips for (#1 initial response, #2 Leak Detection, #3 coming back to fix it after leak detection #4 came back to see it was still leaking and DID NOTHING). No urgency considering the leak was coming down in the kitchen near the stove.
Clearly, they did a terrible job all around when a second plumbing company came out and fixed the remaining leak on the spot. Efficient fast and never paid them a dime. Never saw another drop.
Evolution pluming never completed the job they were paid for by the warranty company and me. I may have no recourse to recoup my money but I can and will leave them the review they deserve.

They sent someone out over 3 weeks ago to replace my garbage disposal and replace a faucet in the kitchen. He said he would get the disposal and be back to put in in. He said I would need to buy the hose to fix my faucet but he would install it when he put in the disposal. He said someone would be in contact. We have been in contact with them and they said they would check into it. The plumber didn't even turn in a report that he was here. They are now unresponsive. Not good.

I have been waiting over 2 weeks for them to come and fix/replace my tankless water heater in this frigid weather. First guy Travis misdiagnosed the issue which delayed the process. Completely inappropriate and the lady answering the phone knows nothing about what's going on and she always has to get in touch with someone and "call me back" which she's called me back 2 out of 10 times. Maybe. Frustrating and would not recommend to anyone needing tankless water heater fixed.

Unbelievable. Absolutely ridiculous how unreliable these people are. They came to evaluate something in my home and later told me they'd get back to me about some pricing info. Then, they disappeared. They don't call back, they don't respond even to say we can't help you. After repeated attempts, giving them the benefit of the doubt, I'm giving up. It may be what they wanted but what kind of way is that to run a business? You can't pick up the phone or easy text to say "sorry we can't help you"? Or sorry, we are behind schedule, we will get back to you in such and such days. ANYTHING. A courtesy of a response. Literally ghosts a customer. One thing you need from someone that would work in your home is to be reliable. These people are far from it. You just never know if they will disappear on you in the middle of a job or what in this case. I would never recommend nor use these people again. The extremely odd thing is that they seemed like nice folks in the beginning.
