We use to call a company that has many employees. Once when they had to come back for the problem they didn't do right, someone answer the phone and then another dispatches the plumbers and so three different individuals were involved in sending a plumber to our house. They were not efficient in co cordinating between these different individuals and we had to go without hot waters for days.This time when my water heater started leaking, I called my son-in-law in LA who is a generel contractor to help me find a good plumber. He told me several important things to keep in mind when picking a plumber. Make sure they are licensed and the lisence is active by checking state contractors lisence board website. If they are not properly lisenced, home insurance won't cover when there is damage caused due to poor workmanship. If they bring any helper make sure they have worker's compensation insurance. Last but not the least check online and see if there is any serious complaint about the company from customers.

I called a another company first they didn't answer and so I didn't leave the message. Then I called Everest and they answered the phone and told me they would come in the evening and they did. Marco and his helper came and told me what I thought needs to be done. The gave me an estmate to replace my water heater and the estimate was reasonable. They replaced my water heater next morning. Right from the begining to end they did a fantastic job and I highly recomend them.

Tsering was recommended by our realtor to provide a sewer later estimate for our home purchase in Berkeley. He was fast and efficient and set a high standard for all of the other contractors that we came in contact on our renovation since. No one has even come close! Tsering actually did our sewer later work and also helped us to move a gas line for our gas dryer. He is very reasonably priced and reliable. Two attributes that I'm finding rare in our renovation project. I recommend Everest Plumbing very highly.

I am giving Everest Plumbing such a high rating for many reasons, the largest being Tsering.

As has been said in many other postings, he is simply great.

We have had them come out several times to service several different projects and they have continued to provide a high level of service each and everytime!

The biggest project we've had them work on was an issue we had with 1 bathroom backing up everytime it rained. Turns out the pipe that goes to the City's sewer system was mostly blocked by a bunch of stuff. They had someone here the same day to clear the blockage and we haven't had any issues since.

10 months with no problems!!!

We've had many other plumbers come out and try to resolve the issue and none of them were able to, except for Everest Plumbing.

Again... I don't know how many times I can say they are simply one of the best plumbing companies I have ever dealt with.

We recently had a tankless water heater installed by Everest Plumbing. They were very prompt in coming out to check the sight and give a quote. To my surprise, they came within 30 minutes of my phone call. They thoroughly inspected our house, by even going in the tight crawl space and checking where the plumbing lines would have to go. Others who came for a quote only looked through the crawl space opening with a flash light.
Later that day I was given a quote that was substantially lower than one I was given by another company a few days prior, which made the job feasible for us.
A few days later, Tsering and Sam, both owners of the company, came back to do the job. I was impressed that they were owners and did the work themselves. I was also relieved, because many other companies send minimally paid workers who don't really care about the quality of their work, they just want to get it done and get paid. But Tsering and Sam were clearly very concerned about their work and our house. They even found a torn dryer pipe in the crawl space which they were genuinely worried about, and said that they'd fix for free while they install the pipes.
Overall, I was more than happy with their work. Everything they did was clean. They even painted some of the pipes that they installed outside to match the existing pipes that they were connected to. They worked very hard, in the dark and the rain, and came back twice to finish the job, because it was wet and raining during those days.
I was extremely satisfied with their work from all aspects, and would definitely use them again, and highly recommend them to anyone with plumbing needs. They were also very friendly, always referring to me by my name, like a friend. I wish more people in the service industry would be like these guys.

We called Tsering after finding him on Yelp and are happy with the work he did for us. He is on the pricey side, so you may want to call a few different places to see if you can find someone cheaper for your job (hence the removal of one star). But he does quality work and is very prompt and efficient.

Tsering is a professional. He has completed two jobs for me and both were reasonably priced and completed on time. One thing that sets Tsering apart is that he will make a recommendation that would permanently fix the problem, and also provide alternatives, with pros and cons of each alternative, and associated costs. Additionally, he is very reliable and dependable. Look no further. You can count on Tsering for all your plumbing needs.

Tsering did a very thorough job on a very difficult clogged bathroom sink. He was easy to schedule, on time with the appointment, very friendly and did an overall GREAT job. If (and when) I ever need plumbing services, I'm calling Tsering and Everest Plumbing again.

I can't really write highly enough about my experience with Tserin and Marco. First time yelp user, I put them on my call list based on earlier reviews and proximity to my home. They answered my call and arrived within the hour. I suspected a leak under a concrete floor in my basement and was fearful of what the repair would involve and cost. They quickly diagnosed the problem and were digging in no time. It was hard work but they handled it expertly. I was impressed by their careful technique in handling my rusty, brittle pipes. The leaking pipe was capped quickly and they were on to solving getting the water back on. Their solution was plumbing genius in my opinion. They figured out a way to reroute the water line that was attractive and did away with the pipe section under concrete where future leaks were probable. The whole job was completed by the end of the day. The price they charged was very reasonable and much less than I feared. Tserin and Marco were both very pleasant to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to call them for any future plumbing needs. Indeed, I am very grateful for their assistance!

I've been meaning to Yelp this since Everest's first call on our house. Service is fantastic and Tserin is a pleasure to work with. I never thought of us as ""having a plumber"" but now we would not consider ever calling anyone else. Meticulous, clean, nice, reasonably priced and quick to arrive on the scene. He just makes our plumbing problems seem a lot less disaterous!
