Hi I recommend using Everclear Plumbing & Drain. I've talked to a number of different plumbing companies and Bart was definitely the most helpful and reasonable. We chatted on the phone for a while and he helped me troubleshoot my water heater issue. He talked me through the options and potential cost. I really appreciated the transparency and assistance. Unlike some other companies, there was no pressure to write a review and he didn't even ask. I appreciate that. Ultimately, we're still trying to figure out whether we want to replace the water heater, but when the time comes, I'll be using Everclear.

We've used Bart a number of times from small to large projects. He's always been extremely responsive, has done quality work, and always gives fair prices. For more urgent matters, I'm always impressed by how quickly Bart can come out. Many times within 24 hours for important items, and within a few hours for an emergency.

As for fair prices, we purchased a new house, and learned that the downstairs bathtub drain had a major clog in it several months after moving in. The plumber from the home warranty company couldn't snake it, and then said he'd charge AT LEAST $2k to go under the house and replace the section of pipe where the clog was. We called Bart, and he fixed the pipe for far less.

He's fixed clogged cartridges in our showers, broken drains under the sinks, leaking gas pipes, and more. Each time, he's done great work, quickly, and at a fair price!

Bart came out a few years ago to unclog a kitchen sink. It was a tough clog and he spent a long time unclogging it, but got the job done. He also went into my crawlspace and inspected the structure of the drainage pipes to ensure there were no problems there. He explained everything that he did, why the pipes were clogging, and provided several tips to prevent this from happening in the future.

Three years later, I had another clog. Initially I couldn't remember or find Bart's info so I got another plumber to come out and unclog it. During that process they told me that I had a small leak in the crawlspace and quoted me a ridiculous amount of money to fix it. I declined and called a few other plumbers to get a second opinion. This time I found Bart and he came out for free to assess and provide another quote to fix the leak, except that he found no leak! He had me run water from all the faucets, flush the toilets, and found no leaks and nothing wrong with the pipes in my crawlspace.

I highly recommend Bart as a knowledgable and honest plumber. I'll definitely call him again for future work.

I wasn't able to use this company's services, but the owner, Bart, was great at communicating. Apparently, the I needed an A-license contractor, but the vast majority of plumbers hold a C-license. Rather than leave it up to chance, Bart asked me to call him to clarify any confusion so as not to waste anyone's time. Given Bart's attention to deal even in this matter, I wouldn't hesitate to call him to get a quote in the future.

I hired Bart at Everclear to fix a toilet leak, unclog a sink drain and fix a bathtub handle last week based on his Yelp rating and the fact that he is the owner operator of his business. This means more to me because I've found owner-operators take a lot of pride in their work since it's their reputation on the line. Bart was a super nice, hardworking professional plumber. He was courteous and respectful of my home, wearing shoe coverings whenever inside. He was happy to explain things about the repair along the way, and shared the do's and don'ts based on his years of experience. Pricing was up front and very reasonable! Bart's my guy and I plan to refer my friends and clients to him from now on.

Our water heater's drain valve broke, while it was under warranty, the contractor who came saw that our vent was not to code and refused to fix it. I went and got 3-4 quotes. Bart from Everclear was not the cheapest, but it was the most reasonably priced while 1) showing great knowledge in his craft (relating to code and I verified that), and 2) he was the easiest to communicate with. There were cheaper quotes, but based on my experience, those folks would not have done the job properly. I went with Bart and not only did he did an outstanding job fixing the vent that was broken, but he also fixed my water heater drain valve, saving me time and money from the other contractor. This is the kind of business we need to support more, people who are 1) honest, 2) not using bottom of the price to bait you, and 3) care about customer satisfaction and go above and beyond. I 100% recommend Bart.

We returned home from a mini-vacay to a wet water heater bay. Although our house was out of their service area, when I called Everclear they asked me to send them pics of our leaky fittings so they could provide advice. Not only did they inform me the water heater was not the problem they recommended upgrading the fitting being replaced to brass for better water safety and part longevity. Even though they knew they couldn't take the job due to location they provided excellent advice that could have a long-term positive effect on the health of our family. What a great business!! If you are lucky enough to live in their service territory I highly recommend Everclear!

We decide to replace our old toilets recently. Bart was very resourceful and patient to address our questions and concerns over the phone. He came on-site and did a free inspection and recommended the toilet to install in each bathroom. A few days later he came with the new toilets and spent the time to install them firmly and cleanly.

One of the toilet seat was a bit off the center after installation. I actually didn't notice that before he pointed out. He then spent the next 30min triaging what was off, and eventually made everything perfectly symmetrical. I am very impressed with his craftsmanship and meticulous attitude.

Cost wise, Bart's quote ranks reasonably in the middle (I had quotes from 6 different sources), and what we get is top brand TOTO as well as top notch service. The !/$ ratio is hard to beat. I would definitely recommend Bart to friends and family in the future.

Bart is outstanding: he responded quickly to my Yelp request with specifics of what could be wrong, provided an initial estimate in the response, and arranged to come quickly. He fixed two toilets and fixed a water line issue with our dishwasher. He's very responsive, is professional and did the jobs quickly and cleanly. He was happy to provide me with specifics of the issues and fixes, and offered advice on good brands of plumbing (Toto) and how to know when issues may be arising with our toilets (e.g., movement of base).
